I have been using these 80ml cartridges for the last 3 years. (39 cartridges so far) Excellent products for the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 The cost at the retail stores is about $60/ cartridge + 9% sales tax in Calif. I paid $1,300 for the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 and have to date spent $2800 on replacement ink cartridges. All I can say is UGH!!! Office Max gives me store credit for Every 10cartridges ($20) that I bring in for recycling.Limit 10 per month. However, they do not sell 3800 new cartridges.

I have tried other companies and have found Sophia Global to be superior. Inks from other suppliers have failed all too often with chips that do not function. I just refilled my cartridge for OfficeJet 6500 Wireless printer. That was the easiest ink refill I've done (but for different printers). It's pretty painless and clean. So far the black ink is working pretty well.

NOTE: I seldom use my printer. I'll update this review if I have problems with the black ink.

NOTE: The ink level after refill doesn't get updated, so the ink level detection of the printer becomes useless after you refill. But this is not the problem of the refill technology.

UPDATE: Oct 2011 So I've used this black refill kit till it's almost done. I've refilled about at least 5 times so far. I haven't had a messy one so far, and the black ink is still working OK. I'm planning to buy another one once I'm done with the current one. I highly recommend it.

I have been using these in my HP Officejet 6000 for 18 months. Have used one kit for no less than 10 refills for about $25. If you are using HP original cartridges to refill, keep in mind that they have a memory chip on them that will tell the printer that it is out of ink no matter if you just filled it or not. The printer will still print even though you will get the warning. In order to avoid this in the future, purchase a new set of HP cartridges and disable the memory (see instructions) while they are still full. Then you will be able to avoid the "out of ink" popups on your screen. You will need to monitor the ink by looking at your printouts. I am not using the printer for photos, just school projects and MS Office docs. Quality is fine and I am filling the original cartridges that came with the printer. The best thing to keep your printer working well is to print something at least once a week. Nothing wrong with this ink at all. It can be a bit messy, but just wear some gloves, you'll be a pro after a couple of times.

I didn't have much experience with refilling cartridges and wasn't excited for anything messy. Because I have tanks instead of a whole cartridge with heads and all they are much easier to fill. This refill kit seriously takes less than 5 minutes to use including taking it out of the printer, filling, and putting it back in. The syringe makes it really easy to fill without spilling everywhere. I would highly caution anyone who uses refill kits to make sure you do it in a place that you can easily clean up ink in case you fumble the syringe and find that you have ink all over you new clothes, carpet, child, etc.

I plan on buying and using this refill kit for the life of my printer.

Hints from experience :

1. Follow the amount that is require to be injected in the caterg (color 920xl 3ml ONL) and (black 920 6ml) if you exceed no big problem, just the ink will leack from the top drainage.

2. After finishing refilling, flip the caterg so ink open of the caterge will be facing upwaord, for at least 5 mins. This technique will allow air if injected inside cartage to be out from cartage open,

3. To eliminate, air injection inside caterge, during injection make small angle so air will move on top away from injector head.

4. Clean kit (holder with it's rubber immediately after finishing refill) with water and dry it for next time.

5. Clean caterge open with tissue before installing it in the printer.

6. Refill befor caterge get dry.

7. Don't forget wearing plastic gloves like me at first time.

Cheap FantasyBuy CIS(Continuous Ink System) for HP printers with new OEM

I have a continuous ink system for my HP C6200 series printer that has been working pretty well. So I decided to get this one for my HP D110 printer. I chose this one even though it was a little pricer than others because it claimed to have auto reset chips.

It should be noted that the included manual describes using your own cartridges, so all of that part can be skipped as this comes with the cartridges pre-installed.

The kit arrived just as the picture shows with the ink cartridges already attached. Installation in the D110 was pretty straight forward. Just install the air filters in the ink tanks, install the cartridges and attach the ink lines to the printer. On the D110, I used one of the included hose clips about 2/3 of the way to the right of the printer (top inside the door area), leaving enough slack for the cartridges to move all the way to the left. While there my have been another way to do it, I just cut a notch in the front cover to allow room for the hoses to exit. Total time for installation about 5 minutes.

Upon closing the door, the printer identified genuine HP cartridges (a good sign). Next I checked the ink levels and all showed full (also good). I skipped the alignment page at this point and just printed a test page. This was a little disappointing as the print was faint and missing lines. so next I did a head clean cycle. This cleared up most of the problems but it still looked like it was not quite there. I then made the mistake of doing another clean cycle as this made things a lot worse. I had to remove the cartridges to wipe off all of the excess ink that was now on the bottom of the cartridges. After clearing up that, i figured I better go ahead and do the alignment.

Oddly the first time I tried to print a page from my computer, I got a nag screen stating that I had incompatible ink cartridges. Luckily there is a box to check saying not to remind you again. Not sure why I got that as the printer did not gripe, and the web interface to the printer also shows genuine cartridges.

Print quality is ok, but there still is a bit of banding on the color. Since I only use this printer for general purpose printing, it looks like it will work fine. Only time will tell though if it holds up. I may revise this later if there are any issues.

So unless you are doing a lot of photo quality printing (which this do not seem to be quite up to par for) it should easily pay for itself quickly.



I contacted the seller regarding the banding and some other color issues (i.e. yellows were greenish and reds were brownish). The seller was quick to respond and offered some suggestions (including returning it). I was never able to get the color cartridge to work just right, but as noted in my original review, it works ok for general purpose printing and I will keep it. Perhaps this issue is more related to the printer model (HP D110) than the ink system it's self.

Of course, whatever brand of printer you buy, they sternly tell you to only buy the manufacturers brand of cartridges. Which means, it gets expensive. My Brother all-in-one accepted this, and works fine. The Dell I used to have, was another story. If I didn't buy Dell cartridges, a yellow caution icon annoyingly flashed, and it constantly asked to print a sample page (to use up ink). It was a relief to me that this Brother didn't do that. I don't print that many pics, but they came out clear. Most of the time, it's just documents or receipts, and I see no difference between the Brother cartridges, and these.

I was wary due to some of the bad reviews this item got. Ordered it anyway. The new cartridges installed easily enough. I followed the instructions on the paper that was included in the package and didn't have any issues. Printed a test page and everything is working fine (for now). If issues come up down the road, I will update the review.

I have only used the black cartridge so far. No problems with it. I thought it would last longer. I didn't get nearly 300 copies, which is what I thought I would get. To be fair, I was printing alot of pictures/activities (I am a teacher). I have not tried the other cartridges yet you not sure how long they will last. I think I would buy again.

These Canon "compatible" inkjet cartridges are less expensive to use for most printing requirements than the Canon brand name. I don't do a lot of picture printing so I have nothing for comparison. We have been using canon ink for our photography business for a couple years and love the quality of the ink (we use 6 different color Canon ink cartridges), though are in the process of shopping around for a replacement product due to the inflated prices of Canon. There's something to say about quality, which is non-negotiable for our business, but there has to be a better alternative out there for a couple bucks less.

I am using this HP 61 black ink cartridge in an HP Deskjet 3054A, just like my printer's directions say to do. You can always double check to make sure this cartridge will work in your printer by using Amazon's helpful tool near the top of the product page.

I've purchased and used this cartridge several times without any problems. The cartridge's lifespan is average--it doesn't run out too quickly but I have had to replace it every couple months after moderate printing (maybe 10-15 pages per week).

The price of this ink is fairly low relative to that of many black inks on the market, so if it works in your printer you stand to save a bit of money. Keep in mind that there are also large-capacity and single-pack versions of this ink available, HP 61XL Black Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging (CH563WN#140) and HP 61 Black Ink Cartridge (CH561WN#140), respectively. They may be better deals depending on their prices. I have found that you actually get the cheapest per-cartridge price for this ink by buying this twin pack, but from Staples rather than Amazon. Plus, Staples usually offers free one-day shipping on ink.

HP charges about three times more for a new cartridge of this type. I have now gone through 3 of these cartridges with my LaserJet 1018, and I have had no problems. The cartridges last about 2,000 pages each, so the price-per-page is only a little over 1 cent (as opposed to 3 cents per page if you buy the official cartridges from HP). I also buy my paper by the case from Staples, so my total price-per-page of printing is about 2.5 cents. Very good deal, considering that I used to pay over 10 cents per page with an HP inkjet printer and official ink/paper supplies.

I went with this toner cartridge based on the great reviews. However, maybe it was just a unique incident, but the toner cartridge I received did not have a solid working drum. It could print out a solid black page fine, but normal text came out uneven. And yes, I shook the toner cartridge plenty of times to spread the toner. The toner looks to be fine. I ended up having to transfer the toner back to the original HP cartridge and I'm back in action. I did not contact customer support since I could not afford to be without a working printer for more than a day.

I initially gave this a rave review but I've got to come and change it to reflect a new experience with it. At first, it printed just fine. Couldn't tell the difference between it and the OEM one. Now, a month or so later, it leaves vertical lines. After every 10 copies or so, I've got to remove the cartridge and shake it, and hope that fixes it. If it fixes it, it will re-appear after another dozen copies. Sometimes it will simply have a blank vertical space that runs the length of the page.

I won't be buying another one.

I returned this toner cartridge. Since I pay less than the orignial HP toner price, I don't mind if the volume of this toner is less only if it works cleanly and efficiently. However, it is NOT. There is always three black dots on the printouts caused by this toner cartridge, which is unacceptable. It's just like you print out something from a dirty copy machine. It seems that it is a refilled toner cartridge but is not refilled properly. I returned the product and would rather pay the full price for a normal one.

I purchased these cartridges for my daughter's printer so she would not need to use mine. I was excited and so was she. I changed out the cartridges and the printer did it's thing to initial them. I printed the test page NOTHING. The words did not even print. So I cleaned the print heads and did a nozzle check through the printer's utility. I was able to get the test page to finally work. So I thought we were in business. We used the printer to print out something for her school work and it did not print the words or the picture that was attached. I will not purchase from this Amazon seller again.

First off their customer service response time was outstanding and actually helpful. They didn't respond with copy and paste spreadsheets. Always a plus.

I have a networked HP photosmart c6380 AIO on xp. I had just returned a 5 pack of ink that just gave me the same error. When i received the ink (in 2 days with s.s. shipping, nice job again) The black cartridge ink I purchased through toner-planet gave me the same "damaged or incompatible cartridge". Even though the printer showed them as hp cartridges installed with full ink levels. The dry cartridges were still accepted when reinstall. which led me to believe the chips on the new cartridges had changed. The seller mentioned at the end of 2011 they had. the 564xl black i noticed has been down graded also from 850 pages to 550 and is about 30% smaller in size. Still fits though.

After 4-5 emails with Toner-Planet and no help from hp customer service. Toner-Planet had mentioned in email 3 if I had checked the printer for updates. I had updated the software early 2011 but went to the HP.com support and driver page, No updates in the firmware or software section within 8 months before the date I purchased it. I then checked the HP solution center(the installed software which I updated months ago) hit help, check online for updates. It found 2, A diagnostic program and another for pc connectivity issues(not my problem). installed the diagnostic software and it accepted the black cartridge as theirs. one by one I installed the rest woth success.

I'm happy my printer still works. It has been good to me for the 18 months I've owned it. Even happier with the sellers working with me. Looking at online support forums, I'm not the only one with this issue. So use the software's check for updates and just install them all no matter how useless they may seem. Will use this seller again and again from now on.

I own a HP PhotoSmart printer,Fax,Scan and Copier. Also prints photos and CD labels. I knew that because it takes 5 cartridges to complete the ink suppy to creat incredile photo copies and Professional print jops,that keeping ink on hand might be a challenge.
