So far, so good on replacing the expensive cartridges you'd need for HP Officejet J4680. Ink is where HP makes their money, and good quality replacement ink is where I make out, not them.

I got very old boxes of inks, reaped in many places. When I finally opened it to replace my existing one, I found two of the black inks are dried already. One of the colored ones that I tried worked for few days then stop working. It seems that the packages are old and inks are dry.

These Canon "compatible" inkjet cartridges are less expensive to use for most printing requirements than the Canon brand name. I don't do a lot of picture printing so I have nothing for comparison. I do print drafts of brochures and they look very good. So good, in fact, I don't hesitate in sending them to my customer for approval.

We have been using canon ink for our photography business for a couple years and love the quality of the ink (we use 6 different color Canon ink cartridges), though are in the process of shopping around for a replacement product due to the inflated prices of Canon. There's something to say about quality, which is non-negotiable for our business, but there has to be a better alternative out there for a couple bucks less.

I did received these quickly. However, after only a few days my HP printer would no longer recognize the cartridge and there were no adjustments I could make in order for it to work. I now have the second one installed and is working so far. So even though I saved money, I will probably need to buy an orginal soon to have a backup in case this is no longer recognized by my printer.

The problem with the February 2010 review (below) is that the rating should have been directed towards the vendor selling the item, not the item itself. I ordered this item from "attiger3" and it was genuine Canon ink cartridges in one of those impossible to open plastic clamshell packages. I was going to submit a photo, but it looks exactly like the one shown with the item.

I have always used Canon ink in my Canon printers. The one time I didn't, the knock-off cartridges literally killed my printer. To me, Canon's product is superior to other manufacturers. Photos printed a number of years ago are still bright and clear with no discernable fading, even after being exposed to bright light.

A word of advice: if you select another vendor other than "attiger3", send them an email via Amazon and simply ask them if the item is genuine Canon. That's a pretty simple thing to do.

I was looking for genuine Canon ink cartridges. these are some generic brand NOT Canon. No where in the literature does it say that it is not OEM or Canon. The only place is on the packing slip and invoice -after it's too late. you already paid for it.

I would give a -1 star.

I bought my Kodak ESP 5210 when they were first on the market. Kodak boasted that the price of ink was far below the cost of other printer ink. In fact, in the beginning it was, however, the cost shot up so fast that I really am sorry I listened to the hype and invested in the printer. In addition, when the color cartridge runs out of ink, (and it does run out quickly) the printer stops working and will not print with just the black cartridge. Totally frustrated with the printer and the company claims of inexpensive ink costs, I was ready to trash this printer and get a different one. I'm sure you have heard of some horror stories about remanufactured ink cartridges, so have I. Admittedly, I was reluctant to try this ink for those same reasons. But I figured I was going to throw out this printer anyway, why not give it a try.. Well, I tried it and it works great. I can't say enough about it, I am very pleased. I have found that these cartridges print with lines in the color. And the black looks to all ready be going out and i have printed less than 50 pages.

This was our second time purchasing this product. The colors are wrong, the red is not quite red, etc. printing a picture looks terrible. Like an old TV that has rgb levels way off. Also the black ink prints all fuzzy. I cleaned the printer heads 3 times. Ran several test pages and alignments but to no avail. The black only looks crisp if you make the printer run in extra fine mode. Thus wad never a problem with inks from Kodak. I liked the lower price, but it's not worth it if you want clear pictures in the right color

I tried ordering a few cartridges. 1/2 of them didn't work (printer said they were no good). There's a 90-day refund period, but like many people it takes me months to go through several ink cartridge and I was outside the return/refund period by the time I put in bad cartridge. And it's really not worth my time to pack up and ship back a few cartridges anyway. My suggestion, if you decided to buy from these folks, is to double your order and figure you'll be recycling or throwing out 1/2 of them. At the price it's still not a bad deal.

This is a true case of you get what you pay for. The price was right and now I know why. The ink only shows a funky blue, pale yellow and maroon. It is as if I haven't replaced my empty cartridge. In addition to that it bleeds maroon around all the type. I will stick to new HP ink cartridges from now on.
