Reviews of Sophia Global Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 61-2
I ordered this item and it arrived in 2 days as promised. The printer recognizes it as a used cartridge, but it comes completely full and is compatible with my hp printer. Works great, the ink is as good as my hp cartridges. I had no problem with the ink running out too fast as mentioned in another review, and I've printed about 150 pages so far with only one bar gone. I will definitely be buying this again!

For the price, it doesn't last long enough. For simple, daily usage, this ink may serve your purpose, however if you are a heavy duty printer like I am, look for another product to meet your needs.

I am trying to find an affordable solution to the Canon brand printer inks. I just received and tested this as well as the LD Canon CLI-226 Gray inkjet cartridge. I noted the following:
> Clear, easy to follow instructions with package
> No-hassle opening + loading procedures
> Ink at the spout is a bit wet, but not enough to drip like a water drop (watch your fingers though, do not touch)
> Seamless fit right into printer inkjet cartridge port
> Printer recognized cartridges upon first attempt with no hassle
> Tested print page in full color looks perfect
Note: I am currently using the other four basic inkjet cartridges in the Canon brand (Large Black, Magenta, Yellow, Cyan) I just bought these last week, so I am combining the LD brand cartridges to see if they work. As long as the LD brand continue working and have good results (at a great price), I will be purchasing the large multi-pack next time to replace the far more expensive Canon brand:

The ink cartridge looks very cheap (not quite as bad as some others I've just received though), but it registers with my Canon MG52xx (some model close to that, not home at the moment). The printings come out good, I can't really tell any difference from the OEM cartridge yet. I didn't have any issue's with this specific non-oem cartridge yet(I did have a minor issue with the non-oem multipack from a different vendor, but it was easily solved by doing a "deep clean" and a "head alignment").I can recommend this non-OEM cartridge from my experience so far. Saved me about $10 (purchased from "LD Products Inc").
I will update this review if I have any issues.

Well first of all the ink works, but in large areas of black you can definitely notice a purple hue to it, not a solid black like the Canon inks. This happened with my black and yellow... I don't know what happened. I purchased this last year and it worked fine. When I replaced my black, my printer didn't recognize and I had to perform a check several times using a lot of the ink. After several pages printing and my ink half way gone, one page finally came out with black. Then I replaced yellow and it does not recognize at all and I can't even perform any tests. So frustrating!!!
Pros:
The print quality is excellent
The price can't be beat.
Cons:
The software that monitors the ink levels shows that there is not very much ink remaining in the cartridges even though they are new.
I would buy this again, amazing color and clarity. I have an RX680 that's really particular unless I use Epson ink, I thought I would try again, it isn't that much money if it failed and I was so surprised that it works the same as the Epson (Shhhhh don't tell them) I will buy from the dealer again, they've got my repeat business.

Removed "all" of the old cartridges and replace them with these. They worked just fine without any error messages on an Epson R260 printer.Pros:

I have an Epson RX580 printer. I installed the ink cartridges, and the printer accepted them and showed they were all full. But nothing would print. Called customer service, and it turns out that there was a small, tiny piece of clear plastic in the dark blue cartridge, in the hole on the bottom. I had to poke all the ink cartridges with a paper clip to find this(what customer service told me to do.). Fixed the problem. After the plastic was removed, and the nozzle heads cleaned, it printed just fine in all colors! Would give it five stars, if it were not for this initial problem.Friday, May 2, 2014

I have had no problem with the color being off. I do have a problem with the packaging. It looks like Inktoneram buys these cartridges in bulk then lays them out on an 8½" x 11" label sheet so you get a big floppy unruly sheet of ink cartridges. HOWEVER, the chips on these cartridges are recognized by my Epson 1400. I can't tell how many cartridges I have bought that are not. This being said you can't beat this deal. I have made hundreds of prints, some for exhibition, and I've received nothing but positive feedback. Five stars with better packaging, but packaging doesn't make the print.

It's not like it should be. When you print a back and white photo it has a blue tint to it. I can not get the picture's to look right at all. Love, love, love these cartridges. Really inexpensive and the quality is terrific. I've already printed about 75 pages off of these ink cartridges and the ink level indicator has barely moved better than my original Kodak cartridges. I will definitely be buying more of these.

When I first purchased this product I was absolutely thrilled to have printer ink at such a good price. When I used the ink the colors were bold and looked great and I immediately wrote an awesome product review for the product. After about a week the ink started to look blurry and the colors had a smeared appearance. It only got worse from there. Not only was the ink printing blurry but it has now started printing with lines running through it like the ink is running out.In some cases things don't print at all. I felt like I needed to do another product review for this product because I don't want to be responsible for someone getting a bad product because of my awesome review. Maybe I just got a bad cartridge but I would not suggest this ink to anyone. My printer is brand new and is not a cheap model and I have never had an issue with ink until I used this cartridge. This product messed up the print head in my printer. I HATE that companies charge so much for ink and was looking for a less expensive option but not at the cost of replacing my new printer. Even after replacing the ink with Kodak ink it took quite a while and lots of guessing to get the printer to work again. I make only infrequent use of my Canon Multipass printer, sometimes letting it stand idle for several weeks. For whatever reason, the black ink tanks clog the printhead after prolonged disuse whereas the color ones keep functioning. Although more likely to happen with a clone, the same has occurred with Canon originals. Before throwing out the printer (and I've come close), run it through the cleaning cycle at least 5 successive times and try printing again. If it's still not working right, do another 5 cleaning cycles. So far, that's done the trick for me, but if 10 times doesn't produce the desired result, you'll need to do some invasive surgery on the printhead itself.
As for using cartridges from clone manufacturers, my experience has been that they often require far more "priming" than the original manufacturer's product. As a result, you're wasting ink and saving less money than you may have thought.
Also, when ordering Canon ink supplies, beware the manufacturer's confusing and inconsistent use of the terms "ink cartridge" and "ink tank." It's led to my receiving the wrong item on more than one occasion.

I bought my printer/copier less than a month ago and it came with a BCI-21 Black and BCI-21 Color ink tank. I have not been using the machine that much yet and while I was copying a few pages which required black ink, suddenly the black prints just were not showing. I have not even printed more than 100 pages since I got my printer. I still have color ink coming out but black is missing in my pages.
