I already have been using their continuous ink feed system for over a year now. It works excellently! I can't say what an improvement it is over having to buy and change ink cartridges on a regular basis, not to mention the expense! For the cost of one set of standard ink cartridges, I got the CISS (continuous ink supply system) and it had the equivalent of 5 sets of cartridges of ink. The ink being reviewed here is the refill for the CISS. I can't say how fade resistant it is, because I have placed prints in strong sunlight, however, the ink does dry fast and is less subject to smudges and smears than the standard OEM (Brother) ink. The Brother printers (I have an all -in-one) work well with a CISS since the cartridges are stationary and have recloseable ports with o-ring seals. And...No "chip" to reset! The cartridges use an opto flag to tell when they are out of ink, which of course never happens with a CISS. The color quality is just as good as the OEM. Yea, Brother and PrintPayLess! This is how inkjets ought to be!

The first 3-4 times I bought these remanufactured ink cartridges (color or b/w), I thought they were great because they really did work perfectly. However, maybe 6 months later, my HP Officejet Pro 8500 could recognize that they were either remanufactured or old. I ignored the warning messages. Eventually, however, the printer would refuse to print because it would not recognize the new cartridges as having any ink. I finally bought real HP ink cartridges and my printer still would not print. The alignment continued to fail; I wasted at least $150 (nearly the cost of the printer) on new HP ink cartridges and new printheads and still, my printer is useless. It was a great printer and now it's ruinedeven HP said there's nothing they can do.

Ergo, I would be very cautious before continuing to decide to buy theseonce your printer realizes they are not real, it may start to go haywire. Just buy the more expensive real HP ink.

The printer recognized it as a re-man so it wouldn't work. After researching online, I was able to use some Scotch tape to trick the printer into thinking it was an HP original. That got everything working fine. But after about a year or so (I am not a heavy user), the printer just gave me an error stating that non-original ink has been detected. The printer stopped working and wants me to change the black cartridge. I took it out and I can tell there's still ink in it.

Long story short, I didn't get full mileage out of the re-man cartridge. Hard to say whether going with a new is better because I did pay quite a bit less for the re-man.

*Edit* After re-adjusting the Scotch tape and re-trying to print several times, the printer has again started working without replacing the cartridge. Just a hassle.

I've ordered replacement drums for my workhorse Brother Laser Printer many times. They were all garbage, so I would have to relent and spend a fortune on an actual Brother Drum (darned expensive!). I have 5 Brother printers (HL-5370DW) printers in my office and ordered 3 of these drum units none of them worked properly. In addition to squeaking, they left toner blotches on the paper. I tried switching them between printers and used several toner cartridges that I knew were good, but continued getting the same poor results. They are guaranteed for a year, but it's not worth the time and trouble to return them.

Says there is a one year guarantee. Apparently it is a 30 day guarantee. Purchased when my drum light came on and then did not need to change my other drum until after I had had it for 3 months. It does not work, so I contacted BuyITeasy where it was purchased from, but they say the warranty is only 30 days. I would never have purchased this if I had known it was only guaranteed for 30 days. Amazon does not feel the need to check into their false advertising either. If I could give this seller a negative star review, I would have, but one is the minimum allowed.

We have had some bad experience with remanufactured drums. The originals are more expensive than the printer itself, so remanufactured is the way to go, but sometimes they do not work well. So far every one from this supplier has been excellent.

worst crap ever. These inks suck. I have been getting results with epson ink and replacement/refill inks from a company whos' product has been discontinued that are as good or better than any professional printer on earth. LD products wasted my time, materials and to add insult to injury, made me pay for return postage which defeated the purpose of buying inexpensive replacement cartridges. Keep that in mind. This is great if you are sending the picture in the mail -all you do is address, stamp and send, but for the every day giving of pictures I would prefer a blank back.

I previously used the smaller package which contained printer cassette and paper for 36 prints. This larger package contains 3 color ink cassettes and 6 packs of postcard-sized photo paper, each containing 18 sheets for a total of 108 prints. Though dealers sell this kit for less, you do have to pay shipping and handling. I saved some by purchasing two of these from a dealer listed by Amazon. I purchased the Canon KP-108IP ink and paper set to use as part of my new Canon A520 Power Shot Camera and Canon Selphy CP510 photo printer. I was tired of sending film to mail-in developing sevices and having it lost in the mail. We don't have nearby decent film developing where I live either. I bought the 108 print pack which includes ink and paper. I've copied about 20 photos so far and the quality has been excellent-certainly as good as the typical 1 hour photo processing commercial operations. What is nice is that you don't have unidentified people getting their jollies off gazing at your photos as they drop out of the machine.

They are printed out on handy 4x6 inch size postcards which are easy to send to friends and relatives.

I've been a believer in Canon products for 25 years now and these are no exception. I recommend these items.

A great price for these cartridges. I was able to use them for several weeks, but then the Canon MP160 printer rejected them. The problem is not with the cartridges, which provide high quality print, but with the Canon software, which is designed to reject third party cartridges and force us to use their exorbitantly expensive cartridges. Thumbs up for Printronic and thumbs down for Canon. I will try the work around suggested here to use one Canon cartridge and one third party cartridge at the same time to hopefully avoid the Canon software problems.

Initially I tried a Piano CISS for my EPSON printer, and could not make it work. Support via email was difficult, vendor requesting many pictures, etc. and after many emails, trials and turbulence we gave up. Vendor suggested a brother printer he uses with CISS. Received product where the box was soaked with "leaked" magenta (what a mess). After I used original ink cartridges, I installed the PRNTTPAYLESS CISS, and as with the Piano, had similar problems -can't connect message from the printer. Many emails, etc, and finally gave up. Stay away from PRINTPAYLESS .. You get inferior product and poor support,and still you pay for it -not less.

Just love the product clean and easy installation , when installing and pouring the inks make sure to where latex gloves and not do it on your desktop, I've attached the piano on the side of the epson stylus photo rx580 with the help of a piece of velcro, now the piano is always level and on the side If I have to move the printer the piano comes with it :) happy shopping

This is the best looking, tidiest, easiest to refill CIS I have seen.

BUT my printer only gets a few prints if that before it says it can't recognize the cartridges. If they reset easily it would be bad enough, but they don't. They have been nice about trying to help, but just refer me to the FAQs. Other places have sent me replacement parts with just a phone call.

This is my fourth CISS. They are great money savers. I was concerned how this would work since this was the first where the cartridges would actually move. They work fine without jamming. I am only giving it four stars instead of five because the instructions are lacking. Even the referenced internet instructions are too generic. You have to cut away parts of the printer to make the tubes fit. If I did not have experience installing these before I would have been very frustrated in trying to figure how to make this fit into the specific printer.

I only buy Epson ink for my Epson Workforce 600 printer, as I have for all of the five Epson printers which I have had over the years. I have never had any problems with Epson ink.

But buying directly from Epson is expensive, especially since I live in Alaska and Epson thinks that Alaska is the edge of world and charges outrageous shipping costs to ship to here. The price at Amazon.com is discounted 40% and the shipping is free. Who can beat a deal like that? It is even cheaper than buying locally for me.

I always wish that cartridges lasted longer, but I think it is how the printer companies make their money --not with the sale of the printer, but with all of the ink that you have to buy. I also wish that Epson cartridges were refillable.

I do think that the high capacity cartridges are worth the higher price.

I have a NX400 and bought these because I have previously purchased a 68 series in black and they work great! However when I got these 3 colors and I installed them normally as they fit perfectly, but the printer doesn't recognize them! I called Epson @ 800-533-3731 and got a technical support specialist who confirmed that the NX400 will only read the 68 series in black. Just a heads up.

Epson has constructed their printers so that they will not work at all after the printer memory decides that the ink is low. Who knows how many pages could be printed until the cartridge is actually empty. The Epson ink works well. No problems with an inoperable cartridge so far. Ink flow starts easily and dries quickly without smudging. However, it seems to me that there is not much ink in the cartridge as compared to my old HP printer cartridges. I am buying the "68" size since the smaller "69" doesn't last long enough to even be worth considering. My advice is to buy the HP printer, but if you already have the Epson you are stuck. The positive side is the cartridge works very well and you will be changing them frequently (which is very easy to do).

I have had my Epson multi-task printer/scanner for several years now and it works fine. The catch is that the printer will not work unless you have four ink cartridges in it -black, plus the three colors you need for full-color printing. The cartridges are outrageously expensive, wherever you buy them, and even if you want to print only in black, the printer requires you to buy and install all four colors before it will work. And the cartridges really don't last so long. So while buying the printer was a good deal, I have over the years spent many times more than that for the cartridges.

I have a MP560 and these cartridges work as well as the OEM ones from Canon but with a smaller price tag. I got a 3/pack for $13.37. I go through a lot of ink and these proved to work very well. I haven't had any problems with leaking or runny ink. I won't be buying ink from Canon any time soon. As with Canon printers and any new ink cartridge install, remember to do a deep cleaning maintenance cycle on the new cartridge after installing if you want the best results.

I ordered these to use with my Canon MP560 printer, as it says on the item page that it's compatible with that printer. But the printer would not recognize it. Matter of fact, it wouldn't print at all until I replaced it with one that worked (which I had to run out and buy, of course). None of the cartridges in the pack worked. I notified the seller, and they still assured me it was compatible with my printer. Well...wish my printer knew that. I don't recommend these for a Canon MP560. I ordered a 5-pack (one of each color + black) from Direct Printing Supplies (via Amazon) for under $9 and they all work great!

I own a Canon MX870, and I bought these with some worry about whether or not they would work, but I figured it was a low cost experiment.

The ink works in my printer. The chip must work, since the printer isn't warning me that I'm out of ink anymore. Print quality looks fine, no smudging, good dark lines. I can't comment on how long this lasts v. Canon ink because I haven't had it long enough, but initial results are good.

Beware of overfull cartridges. My cartridge was overfull, and I didn't have a paper towel handy when I opened the plastic baggie, so I got ink on my hands. It eventually washes out, and now I know, so I'll open the next cartridge more prepared.

For me, that's a relatively minor issue, though, compared to the staggering cost savings.

I would recommend this to MX870 owners, at least.

I printed several pages with this ink and they look like they were printed with the original one. I did not find any problems with the cartridges, no leaks or chip issues what so ever.

Update:

After two weeks my printer stopped working and showed an error message. After lots of research online, I found that the cartridges leaked over the printing head assembly and caused the printer to malfunction. I found wet and dried ink to the right side of the cartridge holder unit. I think I have to buy a new printer. I initially give this ink five stars and now I am going to drop that to one.
