This is a GREAT deal! I was hesitant to purchase this since the review ratings weren't very high. After I received this today and already installed and tested them, I think I know why. On each cartridge there is a tab at the top that instructs users to remove it. You would think this is the only step necessary before installing the cartridge, but what they have failed to do is include a tab on the bottom of the cartridge as well (the part where the ink actually comes out of). There is a small plastic tab, but there are no instructions to remove this tab. I think folks have installed these cartridges with that tab still on and think that this is a faulty product since nothing prints....and of course it's not printing since the ink can not come out with that tab still on! Other than the absence of instructions on how to properly install these, the product itself is great! I will definitely be stocking up on several more sets at this price!

I don't think there is any offense greater than passing off a refurbished (and poorly at that) product as "new". What I received were old Epson cartridges, drilled, refilled, and a "new" label taped over the Epson label. They did not even work in my printer since the chip was different.

I bought these for a Epson Photo R280. I replaced all of the cartridges when they arrived and everything printed fine on the first day. After that it all went down hill. Each day the print was more faint and a week later you couldnt even read what was printed. I have read somewhere that it has to do with the computer chip on them but not sure why they worked at first and my settings are saying that the ink is full but now nothing will print.

The product description says "are ideal for your machine as the original ink cartridges."

When I ordered these I had run out of one color ink, yellow. When I got the cartridges I pulled the tape off the filler hole and it immediately spurted yellow ink all over my hand and the table. I admit I missed the caution in the instructions, because if these were "ideal" then instructions should not have been necessary.

I cleaned it up and installed it and the printer (Epson Stylus PHOTO R280) would not recognize it. THEN it was apparently time to read the instructions which said that ALL SIX cartridges must be replaced with the new ones. Only yellow was empty, and I would have been throwing out about $50 worth of ink. So I sent them back, and I did get a refund, but there was considerable inconvenience and I was out a couple bucks for the return postage.

If I could give this product zero stars I would-a star SHOULD mean some sort of favorable rating, and this isn't kindergarten-every participant should not automatically get a star!

So i got the cartridges and was assured by the company on the page that the ink I had purchased would be compatible, it was right there in the title of the item. However, it did not work. Epson, being sneaky, updates the chips in their ink cartridges. These guys, being slow, dont have the capability to find what works. I appreciate the rip off and the non-working ink cartridges.

This product was delivered quickly and was well packaged. The color ink cartridge installed and works fine however, my black cartridge has only delivered 39 pages of print before it ran out of ink. Far less than the 150+ pages that I was expecting. I am a low volume printer user and hope that my second cartridge provides me with better results.

Last time I needed ink I shopped for recycled cartridges for the first time since Epson's prices are so high in comparison. I was skeptical and was apprehensive that recycles might damage the print head at worst, or produce substandard prints. I researched forever and decided to take a chance.

I ordered a complete set of each color and am happy to say that they each worked perfectly in my Epson Artisan 837, the quality seemed as good as with the Epson inks to me, and I've had no problems. So I'm here deciding to buy here on Amazon or direct from LD again. Either way, I'll be using their ink.

The other reviewer didn't indicate which printer they tried, nor whether they contacted LD. I have to say, I contacted them in my research phase, and they were responsive to me.

Inks work well. Unfortunately, they didn't come in a box but rather, a cardboard envelope. 3 inks leaked. Not bad mind you, but that shouldn't have happened at all.

This ink prints as good if not better than the original Epson ink. The black is true black, not just a dark grey. Plus the bottles are so big that I shouldn't need to buy any more ink for a year. Not to mention, the last ink (different brand/maker) I had to print something color everyday or else I would have to go through the head cleaning process anytime I wanted to print something. This ink doesn't clog the head, in fact, since I started using it I haven't had to clean the print head once.

In summery, for $2 more than I would have spent on the 'Epson' black ink cartridge that would last 2 weeks, I got a years supply of all the colors for the printer, that look better than the stock 'Epson' ink.

Would I buy it again? Definitely! Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely!

When you refill the ink tanks, prepare for a mess. Ware gloves and lots of paper towels. When you put the ink in, it will spill turning the bottle up, after you are done, and will spit some back out. A redesign on the bottle might work. Put some plastic under the paper towels you set the tanks on. Alot of ink will come back out and a pain to clean up. Don't over fill the tanks !!!!!!!

Fill until there is an 1/2 or 1 inch from top. Builds up pressure as you fill, watch out. Ware old clothing or roll up your sleeves.

I purchased the set of refill inks for the first time after years of buying original cartridges for my HP printers. The only reason I went with the refill kit was because of the amount of printing my wife was doing. I could not keep up with her demand for new cartridges. Out of desperation I started to research other ways of filling my printer's needs. I am glad I did. I took the leap and ordered these replacement cartridges. I am glad I did. Plug -N-Play only slight drawback which really isn't a big deal is printer (HP3520) flags it as a non HP cartridge. But they give you a lot of ink and very adequate instructions.

While "the jury is still out" on this product, I am faced with one misgiving: the cartridges "work" and are accepted by the printer (in my case, a Canon iP4820), but, there seems to be a problem. The graphic display showing the status of each cartridge continues to show these cartridges as "full" -continually. So far, I have used only the two black cartridges (226BK and 225 PGBK). My concern is that there will be no warning as the cartridges are emptied. This causes me to purchase another set of cartridges far in advance of need (I hope). I guess time will tell.

The Purecolor works great for everyday use and is good enough to use for your favorite digital photos. Since Epson has set their ink prices comparative to that of gold, it has forced many Epson owners to seek alternatives to the security of OEM cartridges. I've found that the 7 pack "Epson compatible" is more than satisfactory. At more than 50% less than OEM -the possibility of an occasional cartridge failure is economically worth the risk. The colors are equal to that of OEM and I've had only a handfull of failures in the past year. Just keep an eye on the manufacturers you are using and keep reference notes for yourself to avoid those with poor color quality or a high percentage of failures. I've had good luck with Purecolor and would recommend it to friends without hesitation. If Epson wants us to use their ink, then they are going to have to find a way to make it affordable.

The BIG problem with these non-OEM's, is that you just never know what you'll get. The first time I ordered them, they were OK, just OK. So based on the low price, I bought some more. Well, the next batch was completely different and was basically junk. 2 of the 5 color cartridges didn't even work. And all of the remaining ones, including black, went to 25% remaining after printing 4 pages (OF TEXT). So to sum it up... buying these is a gamble, pure and simple. Buying the Epson OEM is a sure bet (but it costs more for that guarantee). Good luck.

I received the ink from this seller on schedule. The ink does not work! The quality went from fading & unacceptable to illegible. When I attempted to adjust the nozzles, I am informed that since they are not genuine Epson, I cannot perform this task. I am dead in the water. To make matters worse, this vendor does not provide a phone number for customer service and if you email them they only provide 3-day response. I expect I will return the order forthwith.

Cons: The instructions and pictures were lacking. The pictures are not very detailed to show how to take the ink well cover off without breaking the ink well cover hinge. Also the placement of the tubing holders is critical and the instuctions are not specific enough to ensure correct operation without adjustments (trial and error) of the tubing holders. The use of gloves is recomended when you pull out the ink plugs and insert the ink breathers.

Even with the proper tubing adjustment, printing has to be done with the top cover open to allow proper tubing movement. Also the tubing slaps the left top printer case when printing wide paper.

Pros: You save a bundle on ink and don't have to worry about running out of ink on a large print. Color balance seams similar to the Epson Ink.

I have only been using the ink system a few days and it is working so far without major problems.

Okay, so I was pretty skeptical about this ink system. The concept is great but does it really work. The tubes can be pretty intimidating. I figure 1 refill cost me $100 so why not try it out. Out of the box I couldn't get it to start. So I called the seller and they answered in another language. I was like uh-oh. but when I said hello it turned to english and they were easily understood. (they are in Cali BTW. My call was transferred and a man walked me through step by step. I am very happy with the system. I even tested it out on photos. They look sharp and very professional. For screen printers this system is great because you can set all heads to print at once (with rip of course). This product has its goods and bads. Here they are....

There's an old adage. You get what you pay for. In this case you DO NOT. With the Epson cartridges you do.

This is the worst piece of junk I have ever seen. Yes the printer companies tempt you to buy their printer with low prices and then sting you with ink cartridge costs. But at least the OEM cartridges do work even though they are ridiculously expensive.

I purchased the Gigablock Continuous Ink system from Amazon. The instruction sheet has tiny little useless pictures of how to install the system. The pictures are from at least two different printers. Diagram 4-1 is not an Epson 1400. I however followed the instructions to the letter. Note 2c says to place the tank system on the right hand side of the printer at the same level. Note 3e says to insert tubing into the square shaped adhesive pad and install it on the left side of the cartridge compartment. Then note 4c says to test move the cartridge back and forth freely. The tubing from the tanks to the cartridge is much too short to get to the extreme left movement of the cartridge compartment. The tubing would have to be at least 3 inches longer in order to reach.

Nowhere on the box or the instruction sheet is there a contact for assistance. I called Amazon and they gave me a phone number. The representative said it should work and to try it again. IT DOES NOT WORK. This system rates a ZERO on the five star scale. I will not send it back because they would only try to sell it to some other poor sucker. I've learned my lesson will consider this system as money out the window. I'll go down to the store and buy six new Epson cartridges and live with the high cost of ink.

This unit is a case of a great idea that was very poorly executed. The unit has minimal directions, no support from the manufacturer. The unit works but there is on system for the tubes to be run effectively. The unit must be watched and the tube manually manipulated to with the top up to keep the tubes from catching in the ink carriage and jamming or damaging the printer. There are better options available for this unit and in the future I will use them. I recommend others learn from my mistake and use them as well.
