Finally the ink cartridges are a little more affordable in this combo pack. Save around $7 over buying them separately. These are the high-yield cartridges, which do seem to last a reasonable amount of time.

When I recently got a new printer, I decided to stick with the name-brand cartridges, as I had a lot of problems with my old one possibly due to using re-manufactured cartridges–clogged jets, poor print quality. Now that I only use the name brand new cartridges, I haven't had any quality problems at all. Worth the extra expense.

I needed to print 4 booklets, 17 pages 8.5x11 inches each plus a cover. The pages are pretty colorful with background images, embedded images, borders and text in color. My old cartridges ran out just as I was about to start, so the capacity info that I'm about to give you is based on that single print job.

I printed the cover plus one other page at "Photo quality" (total of 9 sheets because I printed 1 incorrectly and had to re-do). For the remaining 16 pages (total 66 because of 2 re-do's) I allowed the printer to set the quality. All pages were on 24 pound HP Inkjet paper. I used the "Borderless" option for all pages.

After printing, 11 of 12 bars on the Ink Status scale remained for the Black cartridge. Only 5 of 12 bars remained for the color. My experience with Lexmark printers and cartridges is that they still have several pages left when the scale reads zero.

The print quality was quite good. Several of the people who saw the finished product wanted to know what kind of printer was used. Good uniform color with no smearing or blurring.

Be careful that you know where these are coming from when you order them. I think the complaints in some of the reviews here about re-filled cartridges may be because they were purchased from one of the 3rd party sellers. I got mine directly from Amazon. They were brand new, factory sealed Lexmark OEM cartridges.

EDIT: A few days after posting this, I did my Federal and State Tax Returns (with TaxCut). Each return was about 8 pages, so with copies of each that's about 32 pages. No effect on Color Ink Status, 1 more bar consumed on Black Ink Status.

We all know you can buy cheaper Ink elsewhere, but in the printer cartridge market, you definitely get what you pay for. I have had very bad experiences with off-brand cartridges, especially for Lexmark printers for some reason, so I always find myself coming home to buying the original OEM cartridges, and paying the extra money. These extended / high yield cartridges really are amazing in how much ink they hold. It seems like forever between cartridge changes using the high yield. I don't even bother with the standard yield cartridges anymore ..... these are a much better value.

This ink works great for general use. I like the high yield because in the long run its cheaper. Also it's more green, because instead of buying the box and cartridge twice a year you only buy it once. Saving on packaging and fuel used to ship.

These will do the trick unless you are printing keepsake pictures then you have to tweak the color settings manually. Definitely recommend them. The price can't be beat and the delivery was spot on.

I don't print many photos on my 2200, so can't comment on photographic color rendition. This printer always had disappointing color accuracy when printing photos with Epson ink, and I'm sure it won't be better with aftermarket ink.

The cartridges don't work even when you follow the instructions for pressing the stop/reset button for 10 seconds. Even tried reseting the ink counter/turning off the advanced functioning for the printer. You can't even dismiss the ink is low window. The printer doesn't recognize the color cartridge, and while the black ink cartidge is allowed to print, no ink gets put to the paper. Won't buy again.

In response to print command, the following message appears "the following ink cartridge cannot be recognized. USB 001" In the past I was able to override a similar message but not this one. I have tried repeatedly to override using "stop/reset" and/or reinserting the cartridges. Nothing works. I don't believe I will be able to use after market cartridges with this Canon MP 460 anymore.

I have used these for about a year and find the color rendition to be good and the cost is great. I have not had a failure from this company yet. Even if I have a failure I am out only a few dollars verses the better part of a sawbuck

I should have known better. Received the 3 packages of inks, nicely packaged in bags, thank goodness. One was leaking when I recieved them, Returned and recieved credit. :) Installed the black in my Hp Photosmart C4580. Worked for three days then said was missing or wrong one. Took out to reinstall and found a BIG BLACK POOL in my printer now it is ruined. I am stuck with inks and a printer I cannot use.

Just an FYI to everyone. HP updated their software so it now recognizes when a refilled ink cartridge or a non-HP ink cartridge is being used. It then stops the cartridge from printing. There is nothing wrong with the cartridge, it's HP refusing to use it. There are ways around it but some work and some don't. I won't be buying another HP printer in my lifetime. I heard Epson is also doing this, too. If your refilled cartridges are working in your HP printer, don't ever update your HP software. If you do, they will stop working.

What else to say? It does not fit in the printer for which it was specified. And once more, it does not fit.

EDIT: According to the numbers on the cartridge, it is the wrong cartridge for the intended machine. So it's not that it doesn't fit what it's supposed to fit, it's that they gave the wrong info on what machines it will fit.

I am very careful with my printer because I paid some good dollars for it and have heard that you should use the brand name cartridge. I have been very please with this and do intend to order more. It lasts for a very long time and the printing came out really nice.

This is the first time I've bought a non-OEM toner cartridge and I'm glad I did. I had no issue with compatibility. The instructions were clear and the cartridge was changed in a flash. The first copy came out as good as the last from my old cartridge. I can't yet speak to how long it will last. I've been using it for about 4 weeks and all is still going quite well. I will be ordering again!
