I use these in a Canon IP5200. It creates great quality pictures, but does have a few limitations. Anyone thinking of buying an inkjet printer, should always check the price of the ink! A great deal on a printer can quickly turn into a money hole. It has been my experience that these cartridges, while less expensive than other brands, do not yield as many prints as advertised.

These cartridges also have the computer chip built into the tank, which I have had a few issues with. On more than one occasion, the printer stopped recognizing the cartridge and would constantly give errors that the cartridge was missing or empty. In both cases, I contacted Canon and they sent me out a replacement at no charge, so kudos to Canon for that.

Amazon is without a doubt the cheapest and easiest place to get these. Add the savings from the low commitment 'Subscribe and Save' program and no other retailer even comes close.

With free shipping, Amazon definitely has the best deal on these CLI-8 inks. The 3 pack is especially useful, since the 4 pack comes with photo black, which I seem to never use. I have 6 blacks still which I purchased before the 3 packs were introduced.

I own a Canon MP530 printer. It is by far the best printer I have ever had but buying ink for it locally is sometimes confusing and expensive. With the free shipping buying the CLI-8 ink from Amazon.com is generally both cheaper and much easier. Plus Amazon carries the colors in different package arrangements so I can get the colors I actually need. Why shop anywhere else?

I don't know why it's so hard to find this product in the stores, but I haven't found it anywhere except at Amazon. Other than that, it's required by the Canon printer we use (which is a good one and I really like it) and I'm glad Amazon carries it.

I have got a Lexmark Multifunctional and it uses the cartridge number 29 for color. I also got a continuous ink system that was supposed to work perfectly. But, these cartridges once they get empty will not recognize any new level of ink even if they are full. I had to get this type (29A) for it to work. So if you usualy recharge your lexmark or plan to do so you must get this type, 28A and 29A. Bet before you buy try with the old ones, who knows, they might work.

It works as advertised. I have the Lexmark x5070, and originally calls for a #29 color cartridge. The 29A here is the same size and fits exactly. I called Lexmark customer service, they said that the 29 and 29A are interchangeable, but the 29A has more ink.

Sadly, my local Wal Mart no longer carries either color cartridge for my printer, and it's 20 miles to the next town. Amazon to the rescue! More ink, lower price, and I don't have to burn a few gallons of gas and waste more than an hour of my day. Thanks, Amazon!!

This cartridge works fine in my Primera Technology 63703 Bravo Pro CD/DVD Publisher Burn & Print CD-r/DVD-rs 16X/32X USB, but is fairly expensive. There does not seem to be a generic cartridge on the market.

I have avoided doing full coverage lables, so these tend to last me 600 or so discs.

Recommended, since there really isn't any alternative :-)

The XL cartidges are a significant improvement over the original HP 02 cartridge. The longer lasting cartridge means in addition to lasting significantly longer they waste less resources plastic, metal etc. When you realize that some colors are used more frequently than others often buying the individual colors needed rather than a multi cartridge package makes a lot of sense especially with Amazon Prime and the speedy delivery.

The HP 02XL cartridge yields 1 1/2 times the amount of ink as the standard cartridge at less than 1 1/2 times the price, but more importantly, you have to change them less often, which saves time. The 02XL cartridges contain 50% more than the regular 02 cartridges. But they cost 50% more, so you're not getting the usual volume discount we all normally expect when buying other items like milk, cereal, laundry soap, etc. And as it turns out, if you recycle your empty cartridges at an office supply store like Staples, you get $2.00 per cartridge. Therefore the 02XL are actually MORE expensive. Here's the math: since the 02XL cartridges contain 50% more ink than the 02, you would get the same amount of ink from two 02XL cartridges as you would from three standard 02 cartridges. Two XL are $29.98 (2 x $14.99) minus $4 recycle rebate (2 x $2) = $25.98 cost for the XL. Three standard cartridges are $30.51 (3 x $10.17) minus $6 recycle rebate (3 x $2) = $24.51 cost for the standard size, a $1.47 SAVINGS over the XL.

I was reluctant to purchase ink that was not supplied by the manufacturer of my printer, but the brand ink i was looking for was getting more and more difficult to find. Since I have long trusted Amazon products and never had a bad experience, I leaped and purchased from this company. I received my order in a timely fashion, and see no major differences in the color quality. It is not an exact match to the brand ink that I normally purchase, but for the price, I am completely satisfied. I can live with a 1/2 of a shade off from my other ink. I will purchase again, but it may be a while since a great quantity of ink was provided for less than half of what I was paying before.

I ordered this ink cartridge for my Dell A940 printer. The vendor mailed me a Lexmark ink 82 instead, but with a steaker as Dell 7Y743. It fits in the printer just fine, but did not work at all. I then tried it on my friend's LEXMARK Z55 printer which uses Lexmark 82 ink. Although it was the correct ink model, and mounted just fine, again, it did not work at all. When printing a test page, only the corlor part printed (with my existing color cartridge) but the black part had no trace of ink at all. When print normal text file, the printer head did all the movements and made all the printing sounds, only output a perfectly clean page with no trace of ink at all. After spending hours on my and then my friend's printer, I am VERY disappointed. I do not believe this cartridge even deserve one start. It did NOT work, period.

I am very happy with my purchase. First of all, the cartridges arrived at my home very quickly. I think I placed the order on a Saturday and had them in my hand by the following Monday. I have had no issues with the quality of my printouts. The ink seems to be of a good quality and I have no complaints. The only thing that I would tell people is that your computer/printer may not recognize the ink level on these cartridges and therefore, you won't see that the ink level is full. It will still show a low level. But other than that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with these and I will order from them again. You can't beat that price!!

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at seeing this ink for such a low price, but the cartridges have worked just as the brand names did. And now I have plenty of back up ink! As a college student in a small town away from home, I need to print a lot of papers and do not have a lot of options for getting more ink. This cartridge is working well for me, but you don't get a whole lot of printing out of it. I'm used to B/W laser printers where I change cartridges every several years! Here I think I'll need a new color every month and a new B/W every two month. I think the model 41 has larger capacity than the slightly cheaper model 31. I previously tried a third party refill for this type of cartridge. Not only did the colors come out wrong but it did not communicate properly to the computer that the ink cartridge was full. I guess I'll stick with the Canon originals. 5 stars except for VERY frustrating how limited the capacity is for the price. POSTSCRIPT FEB 2008: I WOULD CHANGE THIS REVIEW TO ONE STAR IF AMAZON WOULD LET ME. THE INK RUNS OUT SO FAST ITS BIZARRE. I've been using this ink for over a year, I only buy OEM and from Amazon. I've never had any problem with delivery or quality of the product. I'm always satisfied with Amazon. The color is great, it dries quickly and doesn't smear. I get high quality photos every time. I do use Kodak Premium Photo paper, it does make a difference. Don't buy cheap photo paper.

I can't comment on the absolute color quality of this, because I don't use my printer for photos. For general printing of color documents, it's just fine, and the syringe is great with the giant long needle. The only minor flaw, is that the tube of the syringe is big enough that one drop will fall off of the needle if you're not careful. (My other old syringe, a short one, didn't do that). Overall, it's still worth it. I'm happy.
