This is the first time I purchased recycled ink cartridges for my printer. I ordered a set of black and color ink cartridges for my HP printer. My order arrived quickly however the color ink cartridge didn't work and I have not yet tried the black cartridge because my current cartridge still has some ink in it. I contacted the seller and they gave me a few tips to try to get the cartridge to work but unfortunately none of their tips worked. I notified the seller of this and they promptly sent me out another color ink cartridge replacement at no charge along with a business reply form to use so I could return the defective cartridge to them at no charge. The new color cartridge works fine. I just hope when I get ready to use the black cartridge it works.

The cartridges were re-manufactured in China. The black cartridge works OK. The color cartridge does not; it does not print red ink, so all color images are yellowish, bluish, greenish.

UPDATE: It is now approximately 15 days since I installed the cartridges. The good news is that the color cartridge has started functioning properly, dispensing all three color inks. The images produced are essentially color correct, but they are a little bit lacking in crispness.

So, I have upgraded my star rating to 2 stars.

I use these in a Canon IP5200. It creates great quality pictures, but does have a few limitations. Anyone thinking of buying an inkjet printer, should always check the price of the ink! A great deal on a printer can quickly turn into a money hole. It has been my experience that these cartridges, while less expensive than other brands, do not yield as many prints as advertised.

These cartridges also have the computer chip built into the tank, which I have had a few issues with. On more than one occasion, the printer stopped recognizing the cartridge and would constantly give errors that the cartridge was missing or empty. In both cases, I contacted Canon and they sent me out a replacement at no charge, so kudos to Canon for that.

Amazon is without a doubt the cheapest and easiest place to get these. Add the savings from the low commitment 'Subscribe and Save' program and no other retailer even comes close.

With free shipping, Amazon definitely has the best deal on these CLI-8 inks. The 3 pack is especially useful, since the 4 pack comes with photo black, which I seem to never use. I have 6 blacks still which I purchased before the 3 packs were introduced.

Plus Amazon carries the colors in different package arrangements so I can get the colors I actually need. Why shop anywhere else?

I don't know why it's so hard to find this product in the stores, but I haven't found it anywhere except at Amazon. Other than that, it's required by the Canon printer we use (which is a good one and I really like it) and I'm glad Amazon carries it.

I received 6 HP75XL cartridges, the first one I installed (which was CB338W no ending in the letter N) was found to be incompatible with my HP Photosmart C5280. So now, I have 5 more cartridges unopened in their boxes, stating they are CB338WN. Apparently, if they don't end in N they will be incompatible with my printer. I'm not sure what to do. Do I open them (remove the opaque plastic wrap) as I go?, hoping not to find cartidges missing the N ending/ thus incompatible? Do you send me cartridges that are confirmed to end in N? You tell me. Needless to say, I am very unsatisfied with being placed in this position. mr

These cartridges have worked well for me, but recently HP has rejected remanufactured cartridges. I had been using one of these cartridges for a few months with only occassional printing. Then out of the blue, I got a message on my screen from HP that said; "Incompatible Ink Cartridge".

HP is now monitoring the printing and the ink cartridges installed in the HP printers for authentication to see that the ink cartridges are true HP cartridges.

I had to go out and buy new HP ink cartridges to get my printer working again. I think that is unfair. Think if you bought a new Ford automobile, but had to drive to a Ford dealer to buy only Ford gasoline to run it on.

These cartridges are great, but HP is making it difficult to use anything other than new HP cartridges.

Don't know what this stuff is, but apparently nothing too amazing. Google for DIY printer cleaner, they're mostly rubbing alcohol and windex or distilled water. This didn't help my printer. Seems like a waste of money.

They are not actually meant to be used together, though, just to note. the drill is for your Hypo filling needle if you are going that route.

Plug is to big for the drill hole. Plugs usually fall out or are to big for the clearances within

the printer itself.

Just clean off the cartridge and use a good grade of tape to seal off the hole and

save yourself some money

The holes are supposed to be 3/16 of an inch to fit the plug. That is a good fit; however, I found the plugs leak a little bit and come out too easily when you bump them in handling. First, I recommend that you do not rely on the supplied drill bit for drilling a hole. That drill bit is useless and a practice in frustrating futility. I have absolutely no idea how anyone is supposed to use it. (Surely, it is not supposed to be capable of drilling a hole in the hard plastic of a cartridge. I used, and recommend a typical 3/16 drill bit with a customary variable power drill on my first cartridge. But after the first one, I used an 11/64 drill bit for a tighter and more reliable fit for the plugs. With that size, it takes a little effort to force the plug into the hole. But, it stays in place until you want to remove it. Also, the rubber colored plugs are excellent quality and you may reuse them many times. (Also note: I saved the supplied drill. Maybe I will learn of a special process in which case it will work great. In time, I am sure it will end up in the trash.)

I highly recommend these plugs. With one order, you receive enough for two sets of cartridges.

they work fine if you do the job right. i found the drill bit is not same size as the silicone caps. but i fixed this problem with my own drill set-bits. i have installed them over 4 sets of print cartridges from canon. they work fine. i think they can be broken really quick if you pull them very often. so i would not recommend to do that. if you want something solid and hard this is not the right product. if you look for something that does the job, yes this works great. and cheap. and they are color coded to mach many print Banks. Magenta, Cyan, Black Uv, yellow, and Standard Black.

My printer drinks this stuff and if I had to buy the Canon brand every time it ran out, I would be broke. The only problem I have had is that occasionally my printer will say it doesn't recognize the ink cartridge, even after it has been in the printer for a while. All I do is take it out and put it back in and it works fine.

The ink quality in this cartridge is great, but unfortunately the cartridge design is awful. The inside of the cartridge is about 3/4 sponge and 1/4 ink "well." My Canon MG5220 registers an ink cartridge as empty when the well is empty, regardless of how much ink is in the sponge, and will not run if a cartridge registers as empty. Most cartridges are mostly "well" so this is not much of a problem, but since the "well" portion of this cartridge is so small, I got only about 5 weeks usage out of these before I had to replace the color cartridges (haven't used the black yet). For those 5 weeks I only used my color ink for printing coupons, that's it. I seriously doubt that I got 50 pages from these cartridges. When I went to replace the cartridges, the sponges were absolutely saturated with ink. Sadly, I can't tell that to my printer. Don't waste your money.

The problem I had with these cartridges which I have not had in the past is they are slightly pressurized. When you open the caps ink drips out about 5 to 10 drops. I had to clean my carpet and the blue covered two fingers. I personally still find the savings to be worth it. I was able to install them and they worked fine.

We have an Epson 9900. This ink is genuine Epson so it works great in our machine. The 350 ml is a good size for us; we do a significant amount of professional printing and change our inks once every 6-8 months. We have also used the 720 ml size which is the most economical from a per ml price, but we found that because we weren't using it as quickly it would clog up the nozzles quicker. The smaller size (110 ml) is only good if you don't do a lot of printing with your Epson. For us, the 350 ml was the right middle ground for price per ml for our usage level.

Purchased two black and two color cartriges. I do very little printing and when the first black cartrige failed I replaced it with the unused cartriged. The unused cartrige was empty. I ran all tests associated with my printer to no avail. I replaced the used cartrige and continued to get a light print. I cannot recomend this seller.
