From what I've heard, Lexmark has gotten out of the printer business. Excellent!!!!! When I purchased the Lexmark printer, I didn't know how much they would charge to refill or order new cartridges. Supposedly, this cartridge that I ordered was their refillable version. It didn't work!!!!! A total waste of money and time. They are a complete ripoff and glad they got out of the printer business!!!!

Haven't tested print yield out but far as recognition this model works for my Lexmark X6650 Printer. From what I read this cartridge will dish out 475-500 pages.

Just wanted people to know the ones that are misinformed after they used the online dropdown menu so the question is will this cartridge work for your Lexmark printer in my experience the dropdown menu will give you false positives this will absolutely work for the Lexmark X6650 printer. The menu will tell you it will not but its not true if you still have this printer and don't believe me go to the lexmark website and look under supplies for your printer it has this cartridge as a compatible model.

I don't know if this was a mistake or the printer company does not want you to buy a refillable high yield cartridge but I'm going to help everyone out because that is the guy I am :).

I had run out of both black and color toner the same week, so was happy to see the good deal on the combo. I was pleased to see an option without packaging so it was better for the environment. I've already installed both cartridges and printed a half dozen pages with color photographs. The cartridges are the same high quality as I've had in the packaged product. I'll get these again when I need them. I am very happy with the purchase.

I was very pleased with the HP cartridge included in the new Printer But when I bought the HP replacement set I frankly I thought that HP was ripping me off.The price was excrutiatingly high. In order to print in Black I had to buy the complete black set.

The price was too high ,and the HP black cartridge did not fit my new printer. It was marked 564xl.It did not fit.I did not get any satisfaction from HP in relation to the smaller 564XL black cartridge.

I checked with Amazon and found that the price was much better and their black cartridge fit.

Multiple warnings about using these cartridges were observed. I have continued to use the "Hi vision" ink ,quite satisfactorily.

It prints cleanly and with no deleterious effects as yet.

This was suppose to be an alternative for the real HP ink. But this was a rip off and the description was manipulative. It is fake ink and the printers listed will not even read it. Its better to spend the money on the HP ink then waste money and ruin your printer. #nothappy

This arrived quickly and was very affordable, but it it's coagulated and only is able to use around 1/3 of the cartridge. Plus, when you open the cartridges, wear gloves and step pack. Ink goes everywhere.

Edit-it broke every printer in which I used these (3 total broken printers). Beware!

I tried taking the cheaper route and wanted to avoid paying the higher prices for the brand name ink cartridges that my printer suggested I getwell I got the cheaper result too. Some of the ink cartridges were messy and spilling ink in the packages. The picture quality seemed lesser than what I was used to. Was it a total waste of money? No, but I didn't get the same good results I was used to getting with the other brand that cost more. So if your in a pinch try itbut if you can pay the extra bucks I suggested sticking with what is recommended.

I currently have the BK, C, M, and Y in my Canon i900D. Saw them in, of all places, a community thrift store, priced at a dollar each. Yes, a DOLLAR. At that price, they were worth the gamble. LOL. Have been using them for around 5 months now, and I am completely satisfied with the everyday-printing results.

With that said, however, the results when printing on a high-quality photo setting on Fuji paper were not so hot. The red (magenta/yellow combo) bled, and a blue-ish cast was present over the entire photo. After several frustrating tries, I gave up on that endeavor. My troubles could, however, have been due to the age and storage conditions of the Fuji paper. The paper was 2 years old, and for a while it had accidentally been placed in a box that went into storage in our attic. I must realistically take into account the top-quality of everything I have printed on plain paper using these cartridges.

If the PM and PC cartridges work as well as the basic ones, then this is indeed a great deal. The only reason I am assigning 4 stars, as opposed to 5, is that I cannot guarantee that the ink is compatible with Fuji photo paper. Conversely, I am assigning as high as a 4-star rating because of the brilliant result on plain paper... and the fact that my photo paper may have bitten the dust.

There are two places I can find ink for my R2400 other than amazon. Adorama (which sells them in amazon) and Atlex.

Both are almost the same as far as pricing except Adorama's shipping is free. Atlex is close to my studio so I can drive there if I want to pick up some ink or paper the same day if it is required.

On a side note I hate that companies try to force you to upgrade and create landfills of these machines that work well. I had to run a special program to stop the printer from auto-stopping which Epson does to make sure the quality of it's prints doesn't diminish which is another way of saying that you need to throw away the machine and buy another. Planned Obsolescence in other words. I hope to continue using this printer for several more years. The price of ink has gone up every year and it used to cost $9 and now it's up to $13 per cartridge.

I have had my Epson 2400 printer for 4 years now. Still going strong, produces great pictures. Epson ink is very good. But just like any other inkjet printer. They are making quit a bit of money on the ink. A whole inkset for this printer is $100 at a discounted price. And in the years since it has been out and replaced by a newer updated unit. The price of the ink has not gone down. But what can you do. Once you buy the printer your stuck with buying their ink until you get a differnt printer.

I am a serious printer user. Some of my prints went into contests, some prints I made for other people who asked. I was always afraid that 3rd party inks would shift the colors or cause clogged heads.

Maybe that was true 10 years ago, but I had to try for myself. Nothing could be further from the truth. Colors match previous prints. I use color profiles from Epson and Ilford, and they match too. So far, all clogs have disappeared, better than with Epson inks.

Good company, good product, all better than advertised.

Purchased this based on the review. I printed using Epson Luster photo paper on Stylus Photo R1800. Everything printed grey/green. It was horrible. I did everything to trouble shoot it and no luck. I gave up and went to Office Depot to purchase Epson ink cartridges. The images came out as expected. Complete waste of money.

these inks are printing blue instead of gray.

Skin tones are magenta. That's with using a consistently good printer with corresponding paper profile.

Maybe I could to create custom ink profiles but I don't have the time/knowledge to do that.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R800 and anyone that has this series knows two things. The first is that it can create outstanding photos, as good as a photo lab. The other thing is that the lifecycle costs of the Epson ink cartridges is crazy since there are eight cartridges and you can't continue printing if one of them goes out. They cost between fifteen and twenty bucks each so you do the math.

These are decent cartridges. I had a problem with one of them and the company was very good about exchanging the defective cartridge. The photo quality is certainly NOT as good as Epson. However, you only pay 25% of what Epson charges so you can't complain too much.

The other thing that is a pain is that these are not very well marked and you get a variety of different cartridges styles from different manufacturers.

So, if you want to save money buy these cartridges. If you want true photo quality you are going to have to stick with Epson.

Problem number 1 Cartridges did not charge correctly, had to clean the ink heads numerous times.

Problem number 2 had to print ten sheets of paper in order to get a decent print.

Problem number 3 cartridges were found to be half way empty after those ten prints.

I would have sent them back if I could. Save your money and buy original cartridges. The printer is a few months old. It was the first time I changed the cartridges on this printer.

The ink did not work properly. Have never had this issue before w/ my printer lexmark x6575, but this time, when i replaced the color cartridge and tried to align the printer, it would not print any blue at all. I tried multiple things including putting in the old cartridge, which printed blue properly, but was low on ink obviously. No stickers were remaining on the cartridge. Not sure what is going on with their ink cartridges that this company is sending out. I cannot return it either as I threw away the box.

I purchased some refill cartridges years ago and was very disappointed in their performance less than half the page count of the original cartridges. However, I have been very impressed with these cartridges. I'm a teacher and since our school requires copies to be put in a week in advance, I do a lot of printing for myself at home. I was paying $120 $130 each time I purchased a full set of cartridges for my HP printer. Two sets of these refill cartridges cost less than 10% of one new set of HP cartridges. One of the cartridges did give the warning message that it was past the expiration date, but since my printer is close to 4 years old it was out of warranty anyway. So far they are working like a charm.

I love this ink because the colors are vibrant and also waterproof, which I have tested (not on purpose). The color and even the black last about 1,000-1,100 pages, where for the standard ones, not the XL, it states they last 750 pages. They are so easy to install and if you have an HP printer, you so have to get the HP brand ink, because I once went and bought the generic cheaper non HP branded ink and even the black looked grey and the color cartridges were not vibrant, or waterproof and they only lasted about 450 pages, so I would recommend this cartridge and any of the HP branded ink. I use this on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Mufti-function printer and it just works so great.

I was really hesitent to buy this ink. I thought that it would be cheap quality and that I would be waisting my time and money. I checked out some of the other ink that was on amazon that were priced much lower than this but most of them said the ink was fine for everyday printing but not for photos. I like to print photos so I wanted something that would do that. There were no reviews for this ink but I went ahead and took a chance on it. The first thing I did was print photos. Had to replace black ink right away when I got them open one of the black inks and my hands were covered with black ink. So I would be very very carefull when you are replace your cartridges. I have not tryed any of ther other yet.
