I was very pleased with the HP cartridge included in the new Printer But when I bought the HP replacement set I frankly I thought that HP was ripping me off.The price was excrutiatingly high. In order to print in Black I had to buy the complete black set.

The price was too high ,and the HP black cartridge did not fit my new printer. It was marked 564xl.It did not fit.I did not get any satisfaction from HP in relation to the smaller 564XL black cartridge.

I checked with Amazon and found that the price was much better and their black cartridge fit.

Multiple warnings about using these cartridges were observed. I have continued to use the "Hi vision" ink ,quite satisfactorily.

It prints cleanly and with no deleterious effects as yet.

This was suppose to be an alternative for the real HP ink. But this was a rip off and the description was manipulative. It is fake ink and the printers listed will not even read it. Its better to spend the money on the HP ink then waste money and ruin your printer. #nothappy

This arrived quickly and was very affordable, but it it's coagulated and only is able to use around 1/3 of the cartridge. Plus, when you open the cartridges, wear gloves and step pack. Ink goes everywhere.

Edit-it broke every printer in which I used these (3 total broken printers). Beware!

This is without a doubt the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon.com. The first ink cartrige that we tried in our printer lasted only a few days. So, we tried the second one, which didn't work at all. I contacted the seller and explained the situation. I was told that occasionally they have problems with a cartidge, but rarely both in one pack. They apologized and promised to ship me replacement ink immediately. However, it is now three weeks later and I have recieved nothing. I would not recommend this product or this company. They are lacking in both a quality product and quality customer service.

I don't print that many documents, maybe a page every couple days. I've been using this 56 Black cartridge in an HP7350 printer since May 2011. Today in mid-September, after printing a couple pages of black text just fine, it printed a second page faded, smudgy, and streaky. This was a *sudden* change in print quality, not a gradual one. The printer diagnostic page also came out fuzzy and streaky in the black section, even though the black says 100% full and the color says 30% full. I ran three cleaning cycles and no change occurred to the non-functioning black cartridge. I've printed less than 100 pages since I installed it, but the box claims it provides 520 pages of use. So at the end of the day HP's branded ink has left me with a defective cartridge that gave me a MERE 20% of its promised usage. I have since replaced it with a new HP cartridge and hope this one lasts as promised.

Horrible. The ink already costs so much but only gave me a 20% performance. One might as well go third party.

When I ordered this product, there was no mention of the Return Cartridge Program (which I have stayed away from and know nothing about). The product I received was a Color Return Program Cartridge 37xl. I believe a mistake was made, but I really need the Ink. I did not exactly receive what I ordered but I'm going to give it a try.

Hi,

In your printer profile, select preferences, then

select draft mode, this saves a lot of ink.

next click Black & White (instead of Color),

this saves you more money.

rename the printer by adding B&W to the name,

ie HP 890C B&W. Use this as your default printer.

add a second printer using the same model you have now.

You now have two logical printers but only one physical printer.

Rename it HP 890 Color for example.

When you need color for the kids reports or greeting cards,

send the print to the color printer, otherwise send to B&W printer.

You can do this with any printer, even at your office to

save on toner if it is a laser.

In the very rare event that it's faulty (unlikely), Amazon.com will give you a new one. Hewlett-Packard makes great accessories and I found these cartridges to last longer than most with more "ink low" warning time than others give.

I bought this ink deal. It was delivered as promised, even before it was promised. It is not the ink that is advertized in the picture or in the description. Doing just a bit of detective work on the internet shows that this product is a product member of Made-In-China.com. That in itself is not bad but there claim that you will receive HP ink in original HP packaging is CRAP. This is really made by Linkcolor Technology Co., Ltd not by or on beahlf of HP. I can confirm this works flawlessly for the Dell AIO 924. I put the cartridge in and printed a test page. I didn't have any problems with the AIO not recognizing it. This product was exactly as promised. It was shipped in a timely manner and when it was installed, it registered as full. Unfortunately, my Dell printer black cartridge mechanism broke while I was installing the color cartridge, I had been having problems with it popping out previously. I've ordered another printer today, but not Dell.

I ordered 4 Color Dell 5 units. They arrived in individual bags, not boxes. Also, packaging does not claim to be Dell 5 series. Unffortunately, I failed to notice this until I got around to using one of them. The cartridge itself had no Dell name and barely fit printer. They DO NOT WORK AT ALL!! The color is all pink!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I failed to use the color unit until past the 90 days refund policy and so they refused to entertain any refund. These units are defective and worse are not replacement color units for your Dell Series 5 printer. Again save your money!!

Well, it works on my 11-year-old HP 842C DeskJet printer. If you need to print out a couple of thousand pages of, say, old Supreme Court cases for your own use, it'll suffice. But for anything which needs to look good, I'm afraid you'll have to pay HP's exorbitant prices. Here's what's wrong with this remarkably cheap cartridge:

1. Several lines of print will be nice and dark, then one will be lighter, then the next darker again.

2. Some lines of print will not be straight, typically leaning leftwards that is, the opposite of italics (though at a lesser angle).

3. Some lines will have both problems.

4. It emits an ammonia-like smell not overwhelming, but vaguely unpleasant.

Pity.

Edit: There's a partial fix for these problems: use the normal setting, not the draft. The print will still be a bit thicker than using the HP cartridge, but not too bad. The trade-off is that in normal mode, print will be much slower and of course will use more ink (but at this price, that's not a problem); and the smell is slightly stronger. So, maybe 3.5 stars, but as that's not possible, I'll leave it at 3 4 would be too high.

I have been using LD replacement ink for over two years and my HP printer seems no worse for the wear. I find this product to be excellent and will never buy expensive HP ink again. Think about it. If you continue buying the HP brand over time you could have bought a ink jet printer instead. Those little HP cartridges are insanely priced. You don't need to use the manufacture ink try this brand. You'll be shocked at the quality and how long it lasts.

When I first decided to try it I was concerned that it may damage my printer. Then I decided I was going to try it anyway and if it did damage my printer I'd go straight a new to ink jet model to free myself of over-priced cartridge hell. I hated buying the crazy expensive HP brand ink cartridges. I made the switch to LD Remanufactured over two years ago and my printer is doing just fine. Thank you LD! I ordered this again because I had good experience with this brand. HP printer never has said it was outdated or an invalid cartridge. Only thing is that it doesn't print as many pages as genuine HP cartridges (non-XL). Otherwise, this is satisfactory for daily printing.

After going through a few rounds of refills using official Canon ink, I finally caved and decided to try a third-party solution to save a little money. So far, this ink has proven itself just as good as the OEM tanks. They come sealed in the same fashion as the Canon branded tanks and pop in and out of the printer easily. The Photo Cyan might be slightly darker than the OEM ink, but I'm not really sure. My first prints were coming out a little dark and cool, but I hadn't used my printer (i9900) with my new Windows machine since I switched from a Mac, so I think it actually has to do with color management settings on my end, and not the ink or printer.

Either way, even if you were to use all of the tanks except for the photo cyan, you would still be getting an amazing deal buying this set.
