You need to be careful filling for the first time since it is easy to spill or overfill the cartridge, but it is much better than paying $25-$30 for a new cartridge everytime.

This is a good quality ink. My printer does not reject it and it is much cheaper than buying new cartridges all the time. One piece of advice when filling the Lexmark x 2600 14A cartridge. Do not put ink in with the cartridge laying face down like the instructions say. You will lose a lot of ink through leakage. I have found out by trial and error that if you stand the cartdridge on end and put the ink in it, it will not leak. When you lay it face down it goes right on through. Stand it up and it goes to the bottom. Wait a few hours for the ink to absorb and put it back in the printer.

I have an epson stylus CX4800. Obviously i wanted cheap ink, so i thought id try remanufactured. I bought this set from LD, and another from Green products. I put in the LD set and all worked except the magenta. I played with it for a little while,but it just would not read. So i chucked it, and took the the magenta from the Green products set, popped it in there,and all was good. Even with one defective cartridge i still paid alot less then if bought in the store.

I have been looking forever for cheap ink, and I finally found it!! To be honest I was a little skeptical. When my cyan color ran out, I put it in my Epson cx4800 printer and honestly I could not tell the difference from this ink to the $45 one. I will definitely be buying this again!!

I can't believe that a company would send an expired item. Portable Guy was the company that sent me 2 HP 96 Large Black Ink Cartridges. They were already expired 3 months ago. And I don't accept explanations that they MAY be good for any time past the date. I am actually excited to be writing this review.

I bought my HP 6940 on an amazing on-line special/blowout deal (forty bucks with shipping brand new) after seeing the replacement cartridge for my older (and worn out) HP printer was MORE than a brand new printer, shipping included.

I literally thought I would be better off just buying whatever new printer was on special from whomever at free shipping than ever pay for an HP Ink Cartridge again. I was disgusted by the thought of the waste and absurdity of the environmental impact the HP (and all other printer manufacturers) Printer pricing policy whereby they sell their printers at very low prices (with a brand new sent of ink cartridges) knowing once you own their printer, they can charge so much for the replacement Ink Cartridges.

Personally, I am VERY PHOBIC OF: 'Reconditioned' 'Recertified' products in general, paying for shipping, as well as on-line retailers who I don't know for sure have a good return policy.

Given extensive on-line searching for an HP 96 Black ink cartridge, I was on the verge of just finding another blowout of any printer (I saw some other brand recently for $24.99 with shipping) but checked out the 'Other Sellers' of the same product and the radical difference in price for the ink cartridges from totally unknown sellers who charged shipping and had various 'recertified' 'reconditioned' wording (all my phobias together) I gave it a shot, expecting the worst, and prepared to take the loss of $9 over the ridiculous options of paying for a brand new cartridge at the lowest price with free shipping/and or actually buying the $24 dollar brand new printer.

THE CARTRIDGE ARRIVED IN 3 DAYS. POPPED IT IN. WORKS FINE. (I am a very light printer user ... so I can not give any info about how long it will last)

I Semi-Randomly chose 'SOPHIA GLOBAL' based on lowest price+shipping and customer rating.

After placing the order I got a confirmation including a friendly worded message acknowledging ALL my own personal concerns and phobias (so I gather a lot of people feel the same way).

Even better, when I replied 'great confirmation', they actually personally replied back.

UNLESS THERE IS SOMETHING (I CAN'T IMAGINE), I would recommend trying the option of other sellers and other 'condition' of the products and I stand behind 'SOPHIA GLOBAL' among the sellers from my own personal very happy experience (The others may be the same or not ... I don't know).

oh .... it did not arrive in a box as pictured. it was just a regular shipping bag via US mail and inside was the cartridge in a professionally looking sealed plastic printer ink cartridge. There was a protective transparent sticker across the print head (just like all brand new ink cartridges) and couldn't be happier (one less box to recycle).

The ink cartridge works great but beware -the expiration date was Feb 2010 and I bought it in Nov 2009. That will probably be fine for me but may not be for someone who doesn't print very frequently. Just something to keep in mind.

This is a great replacement ink, used for everyday printing of documents. It comes with syringe and needle plus a little finger drill bit. The drill bit isn't that great but you really don't even need it. The ink dries very quickly on the paper and we have had no smearing issues at all. I have used about half the bottle so far, it has been very easy on our printer and hasn't gummed anything up. I appreciate the quality and it has saved us a ton of money. Would recommend this product.

I am a newbie to filling your own ink into my Canon printer. I have now easily saved hundreds of dollars compared to buying the normal overpriced ink cartridges from Canon. It's so easy to fill your ink into the cartridges. I would suggest using an electric drill to drill out the holes on the top of the cartridge because the hand drill provided would be super tuff to use.

I was skeptical about trying remanufactured toner cartridges because all I've ever heard from people who have their cartridges refilled at local pharmacies or the new chain of stores is that they have either exploded in their printer or run dry after a short period of time. Not only did these come quickly, but they worked perfectly the minute I installed them in my printer. I think the picture quality is better than the more expensive Lexmark brand. I'd highly recommend these to anyone.

Well I looked around a lot for a good buy and this one seemed to be great. The delivery was quick that's the one good thing. How long the ink cartridges last is another thing. After receiving the inks, I put them into the printer, the prints came out great. After printing out maybe 10 sheets, That's all I needed at the time. I went to print out some lyrics for a song, 60 days after the install, the sheet came out blank. I thought it might have been the cleaning process on the machine wasn't working so I manually cleaned the cartridge and still no prints. So I guess you get what you pay for. For the price, I guess I'll put another cartridge in. Cheap, worked great, didn't last, that's all I got to say about that.

The large black tank only outputted about half of what a cannon brand ink outputted.

The color cartridges performed great, with no distortion in our 100+ pictures we printed. These cartridges have a microchip that reports its ink level to the printer, so it doesn't print bad pictures unless you ignore the warnings.

For the value, this can't be beaten, just don't expect the same volume of output compared to the cannon brand.

After going through a few rounds of refills using official Canon ink, I finally caved and decided to try a third-party solution to save a little money. So far, this ink has proven itself just as good as the OEM tanks. They come sealed in the same fashion as the Canon branded tanks and pop in and out of the printer easily. The Photo Cyan might be slightly darker than the OEM ink, but I'm not really sure. My first prints were coming out a little dark and cool, but I hadn't used my printer (i9900) with my new Windows machine since I switched from a Mac, so I think it actually has to do with color management settings on my end, and not the ink or printer.

Either way, even if you were to use all of the tanks except for the photo cyan, you would still be getting an amazing deal buying this set.

Canon makes excellent ink and photo paper so this ink/paper combo is almost the best of two worlds, quality and economy. I've never had any negative issues with either Canon inks or photo paper so I have no negative comments about them. I made a costly error a number of years ago by using non-OEM ink to save a buck. Saving a buck on ink cost me a printer which gummed up and quit working due to poor quality ink. Lesson learned, stick with Canon OEM ink for your Canon printer.

Why did I say this combo was "almost" the best of two worlds? What you receive with this combo are CLI-221 tanks in cyan, magenta, & yellow and the PGI 220 black tank as well as 50 sheets of Canon glossy photo paper. You DO NOT get the CLI 221 black ink which is required for the MP-560 and some other Canon printers. I didn't read as thoroughly as I should have and thought I was getting all four CLI 221 tanks. My MP 560 requires both the pigment-based and dye-based black ink cartridges (pigment for text and dye for photo printing). As I said, it was totally my fault for not reading thoroughly but I do wonder how many others may have made the same mistake. It's an easy fix, just order a CLI 221 black tank.

Regardless of my error, it is still an excellent value for which you get Canon quality for ink and paper.

This Combo Pack doesn't come with the CLI-221 black cartridge. If you don't pay attention to it, you buy presuming it is complete.

This review is an alert. If you want a complete set of cartidges, you have to buy with this COMBO an extra CLI-221 black cartidge.

I have to post a review because I feel differently than most about the combination of ink in this package. We have had our Canon printer for about 3 years; we run a small business and print mostly text documents, only occasional photos. It has quickly become apparent that the larger black ink tanks (pgi-220) get used up much faster than the small ones.(pgi-221) Even though I don't use the photo paper, I purposely buy this combo pack BECAUSE it has a 220 in it. I have bought the packages that include all 4 pgi-221 refills, and currently have amassed 4 of the small black inks because the printer just doesn't use them up! Pay attention to what you're ordering and you won't have a problem...

First of all, my HP is on its last leg.... I would not recommend putting these in a normally functioning HP, due to HP's recommendations. I needed 2 cartridges of ink just to get some stuff printed, so this route was very cost effective for my situation.
