I bought three of these at once since we use them a lot. The first one I installed worked....it was very faint red....but red none-the-less. As long as I can get it past the post office I don't care what shade of red it is. We opened the second one when it was time to use it....and it was dried up. So begrudgingly I opened up the third one in hopes that it was a fluke that the second one was dried up...but nope...the third one....all dried up too! Although I HATE paying the prices Pitney Bowes asks for the name brand versions.....I have had more than one bad experience (I have purchased knock off's and recycled ones in the past with bad results) and I've come to realize that either I take my chances of buying one at a time that is a knock off or refurb.....and then be left with no backup when I need it.....or I stick to buying the brand only. I gave this brand two stars because at least the first one worked.

Cyan was swimming in ink, luckily the plastic bag it was in didn't leak ink all over everything. Everything else was OK. You have to override the HP software that wants to tell you this is not a genuine HP product, but they worked fine.

Cheap ND TM 1bottle 250ml Black refill ink kit for Canon PG-240 PG-240XL

This is a great replacement ink, used for everyday printing of documents. It comes with syringe and needle plus a little finger drill bit. The drill bit isn't that great but you really don't even need it. The ink dries very quickly on the paper and we have had no smearing issues at all. I have used about half the bottle so far, it has been very easy on our printer and hasn't gummed anything up. I appreciate the quality and it has saved us a ton of money. Would recommend this product.

I am a newbie to filling your own ink into my Canon printer. I have now easily saved hundreds of dollars compared to buying the normal overpriced ink cartridges from Canon. It's so easy to fill your ink into the cartridges. I would suggest using an electric drill to drill out the holes on the top of the cartridge because the hand drill provided would be super tuff to use.

This drum works fine for me. It lasts about 30,000 pages, or 6 months, and is an acceptable lifetime.

What most people don't realize is that when you buy other similar printers, you end up paying much more for your toner and drums because the drum unit is part of the toner cartridge. Brother splits them out to keep the cost of your toner cartridges down.

I've found that the annual toner + drum cost for a HL-5240 is about 30% less than the toner for a similar HP.

I'm surprised to see the negative reviews for the Brother brand drums. I'm on my second MFC all-in-one device. My first one gave me reliable use to 78,000 copies before it croaked (bad fuser) and I immediately went out and bought another Brother to replace it. The MFC-8860DN is my current model and I've already logged 26,000 copies on it. Over the last few hundred copies, it started making a grinding noise and slightly wrinkling my copies, so knowing it was time for drum replacement, went ahead and ordered one. I once tried a 'refurbished' or aftermarket version which didn't hold up for 10,000 copies, so I've stuck with the Brother brand when it comes to Drums. I consistently got 20,000 copies on my last printer drums, and got 25,000 on this one. I don't know what more you can expect at this price point! I did NOT buy my drum from this website, as I found it for less elsewhere. I like brother printers because the toner cartridges are so easy to refill! I buy toner by the bulk off an auction site, and I'm able to refill each cartridge about 3 times before I begin to see a quality loss. Between the low toner cost and the high output of original OEM Brother drums, I'm skating out cheap! Quality is top notch.

This is the 3rd Drum for our Brother printer that we have ordered as being "new". They have all in fact been re-manufactured.

The reason I know they are not new is that re manufactured drums will not clear out the "please replace drum soon" code on the printers menu and if you inspect the drum, you can find toner still inside the drum from the last time it was used.

Also the box appears genuine, but when you open the box, the bag that the drum comes in is not factory sealed by brother, but in fact folded over and taped.

I do not want the hassle of returning it, but unfortunately in the future I will order from office depot as they still seem to be able to sell the drums new.

I own two of these drum units. I was disappointed that the drum was failing only after about 8000 prints. I found toner buildup on the drum cylinder. The problem was corrected by replacing the toner cartridge not the drum. Possibly it was defective toner cartridges causing premature drum failure.

The Brother DR520 drum was advertised as 25000 pages typical use. I did not get to 9000 before the left side of the paper started to have a permanent black streak that kept getting wider and wider. By 10000 pages, the drum on that side was "slap wore out" as they say around here. I give the drum a one out of five stars. On the other hand, the replacement was dropped in and it printed like new again, so a five for ease of replacement. Overall I will give it the average of the two, a three star rating.

This is the correct ink for an Epson Stylus Pro 3880. Wouldn't think of using a substitute, especially since the cost per ML is decent.

I've had the 3800 printer since it was first released. It works well, making prints up to 17x25 inches quite nicely. These large cartridges are a better value than the tiny capacity cartridges on smaller printers. Not surprisingly, the cost per ml of these large cartridges is not nearly as low as it should be.

If you don't use the printer frequently, then once or twice a week, it is a good idea to print a Nozzle Check page, to be sure that all the colors and print heads are working right. I find the yellow often has gaps and necessitates head cleaning--and there goes your ink supply and maintenance cartridge life. Oh well, it's still an excellent large printer.

Not sure how one would rate ink for a printer. Came in what looks like an OEM package and who really cares about the fancy boxes if they just go in the trash. Original Epson Ink works well and prints nicely reason for owning the Epson Stylus Pro 3880. What I do like about these cartridges (and printer) is that these are all high capacity ink cartridges which one is not replacing everyday and who can at these prices. Last a good while. Much better than previous ink cartridges for Epson printers.

As always, Amazon price was good, service was quick and reliable.

Work in a pre-school and we are always taking pictures of children engaged in activities to share with parents. But the expense of the ink was getting too high for us to continue developing all the wonderful pictures. So in searching found ECO Ink at Amazon. Reviews were great so thought to give it a try. After placing the ink cartridge in the photo printer was disapointed to see the color in the first couple of pictures printed just weren't good. We went and followed the directions to e-mail Eco for support if we had any problems. Within minutes we received an e-mail telling us how to solve the problem. This is not a review on the cartridge, at least not yet, more so on the customer service they provide. I accidentally ordered the wrong ink cartridge and I thought; " that's it Im going to have issues exchanging, returning" but I was so wrong. My contact person was "SAM" and he responded same day and even late at night. He said easier for me to return package refund my money and for me to purchase the correct product which was a price difference. I did it all with ease. I don't have a problem paying return postage as it was my fault after all. All in all they have a returning customer. I did recently purchase other cartridges for another printer I have and they worked out perfectly so if your questioning whether these are legit they are and you can't beat the price to try them, right? I was a little worried about using these as I'd been using the HP products since purchasing my first HP printer. But the prices went up even higher recently, & so I thought I'd give this a try for a FRACTION of the price! After a few weeks, they're working just fine. The Show Ink Level function on my printer won't show, but I'm guessing that they will last as long as the original HP inks they're replacing.

Brand new, good deal. I recommend that others only buy New ink cartridges and NOT remanufactured (other than from Lexmark), especially on these 100XL's which are new and not widely available for refilling.

I bought some remanufactured, off-brand but recommended, from eBay and 2 of the 3 color cartridges were labeled wrong (just 100's) and the printer wouldn't recognize them and wouldn't print until I put the empty original cartridges back into the printer.

"Buyer Beware" on non-brand-name remanufactured ink cartridges.

Very happy with this product. Best value for the price I found. All I did was replace the old cartridge and we were set to go. Printing quality is excellent and with several teens and school projects always going in our house it is awesome how long this catridge lasts.
