Received the ink quickly. Fill syringes had blunt tips so that you can't stab yourself as with the sharp medical type that most refill kits provide. Can't comment on the ink as I haven't needed to use it yet.

I have a Dell all-in-one that I've had for about 7 years and it's a fantastic machine, but the ink cartridges through Dell are outrageous. I've always been afraid to try off-brand or refurnished ink cartridges for fear of messing the printer up. I finally decided I had to give it a try recently when I went on Dell and found that 1 of each, colored and B&W, would have cost me close to $100!!! I came to Amazon and searched. I couldn't find a deal on both color and B&W at one place so I had to split them up. But I went ahead and made the purchases. I haven't really done any picture printing and I suppose I might notice a difference there if I did, but otherwise I have not noticed any difference, and so far my all-in-one is functioning normally. I still worry that one could encounter a problem with these refurnished cartridges, but at this point I'm satisfied and willing to go forward as not only can't I afford Dell's prices, but even if I could they are ridiculous and it's become the principle of the thing.

I now have to edit my original review. This cartridge worked for a while and then quit and my printer was really a mess. I finally ordered Dell cartridges and everything is back to working. I didn't save any money because this wasn't in my printer very long before it no longer worked, and it might have cost me a new printer to boot. Not worth any possible savings for me and my machine.

The last ones I bought didn't last as long as the others. It's like the ink was dried out or not as much ink in them. I hadn't used the but a few times when they stopped printing.

I was able to get two sheets of colored print out of these and then it was a light green print. Terrible! I really wanted to save money, but in the end was NOT worth it! I'll order straight from Dell next time.

I purchased two remanufactured ink cartridges for a very important project. The first one worked fine and I just installed the 2nd one and the colors are dark and the pictures look terrible. This was my first attempt at using anything other than dell original cartridges.

I have used solid ink printers for about 10 years. The ink is pretty expensive for what looks like chunks of wax. Finding ink that works as well as the manufacturers brand but costs 30% less is a great find for a small business where every dollar counts.

In the past, I've only ordered either Brother name brand or Quill brand re-manufactured, but lately the Quill brand was not good quality and was almost as expensive as the Brother brand. The toner from Blake Printing Supply for my Brother printer works perfectly at a fraction of the cost of Brother and Quill. The prints are all clean and there are no smudges. I am very pleased with the toner cartridge and will purchase again!

Like others that have complained here this is one of the worst HP cartridges I have ever had, and the worst part is it is the only size my fax (fairly new) uses. I went to have it re-filled and of course, they don't refill this size. I had to spend close to $40.00 for this to stop working. I don't fax a lot so it must dry up or something. I have decided for now I won't have the fax receipts I refuse to buy another one so soon after the last one I just bought and I am afraid it will stop working too. It keeps saying "install new cartridge" it is new, it is installed and still isn't reading it it has to do with the foil on the cartridge. The best advice is don't buy anything that needs this size cartridge.

Others surmised that the foil on the side of this thing is causing it to report "Empty" long before it actually is. One reviewer did what I'm often tempted to do with things that don't work and took a ball-peen hammer to it, discovering plenty of ink after the machine claimed it was out. To all of you, a huge "thank you!" I popped the cartridge from my fax, rubbed the foil vigorously with a paper towel, reinserted the cartridge, and was asked by the obscenely tiny LCD window if it was new or used. I lied and said it was new. (Well, it WAS practically new!) It said the ink level could not be determined, dug in its heels and refused to budge. So I hit the "access cartridge" button again and was asked to replace the cartridge and press OK. I simply pressed OK, but this time told the truth and said it was used. Now I got the world's most obscure message. It appeared to be random characters. Ignoring the possibility that it was demanding my soul as compensation, I said "OK." At which point I was immediately rewarded with an alignment page and about a ream's worth of junk faxes from condos in Florida, health plans, bank card offers, and the one fax I was actually waiting for. How I wish the memory were editable . In any case, I revived the cartridge. Will I get all the ink out this time? Will I have to keep massaging the little thing periodically? Will the junk faxes never end? Will my business contacts ever stop using fax so that I can, too? Will I ever stop asking these questions? Tune in for the next episode of this excruciatingly boring drama the next time I get an out-of-ink message, or the machine begins to smell of sulfur.

You know I just read all the reviews right after my fax machine said "change cartridge." I don't fax that much. I read where some reviews said the cartridge dried up after two months.

So after reading the reviews I took my cartridge outside and put it between two pieces of cardboard and then I smashed it with a ball peen hammer. You should see all the black inck inside that gushed out and a square sponge insiode soaked with black ink. It was not dried out at all.

This is a bad design and I think it has to do with the gold foil sensors on the side of the cartridge. They are not reading these cartridges correctly. There was plenty of ink in there. I will not buy such a cheap fax again and I will read reviews first before I buy.

I purchased this remanufactured toner and put it on the shelve. Later when I installed it, it printed worse than than the one I just removed. After running about 15 sheets of print (I was hoping it would start printing normally) it wasn't getting any better. When I tried to return it for a replacement, I found out I only had 30 days to do so, and the time had expired. I feel cheated. I have to give this one star. I would give it zero stars if possible. Don't buy from this company!

I have only used one of the four pack, but the plastic lever that holds the cartridge in place in the printer was missing. I have never seen this happen before. It is possible it popped off when I unwrapped the cartridge I suppose, but I have not found it anywhere. Required me to run out and buy a replacement cartridge so my printer would work. I hope the other 3 work OK when I have to replace those cartridges and assumed so in my 3-star rating.

I am giving this 3 stars because 1 cartridge was defective. The cyan cartridge, CLI221-CY was missing the tiny circuit board that allows the printer to see the cartridge. All other cartridges work fine.
