I am writing this review 6 months after I ordered the re-manufactured Compatible Lexmark 16 black ink cartridge from OCinkjet(through Amazon) for use in a Lexmark Z600 printer. This was the first time I had tried a cartridge that was not a brand new genuine Lexmark. The cartridge did not work. It produced very light print even after repeatedly cleaning with the nozzle cleaner command in the printer's driver. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped me a replacement cartridge along with with a label for returning the defective cartridge at no charge. The replacement has worked perfectly. I am a moderate user of the printer but did print a lot of pages at Christmas for song lyrics booklets I made. The cartridge is still still going strong which has impressed me.

I was so happy with OCinkjet's service and the yield of the cartridge plus its low cost, that last month I ordered from them a 3 pack of cartridges (2 black & 1 color), but I have not tried them out yet because the original is still producing. I give them 5 stars because I am a happy customer despite the first cartridge being a dud. In the future I will expect that not all of these re-manufactured cartridges are going to work, but that is acceptable if OCinkjet's service remains great.

well. its a good ink quality and quantiy but, i tend to print like once ever 3-6 mths so they dry out on me but this one seemed to work as long as i took it out and put it back in the tray thingy i got it in its good ink tho nice and dark black not gray or anything but really great value.

Printed a picture on a picture paper and noticed some magenta color cast after replacing color inks only. I didn't see it with the original Canon inks.

Manufacturers tell you never to use refill cartridges as they can leak and damage your printer. In the old days of inkjet printers this may have been true but not so much anymore. I have used refill cartridges on varying printers for a few years and have only had one bad experience (and it didn't ruin the printer although did take a while to clean).

These cartridges work just like the manufacturer ones although on average you get slightly less printed pages than manufacturer cartridges, since you get 3 cartridges for the same price overall you get a lot more printed pages.

Delivery took around 1 week from eStoreimport with no problems encountered.

I recently began purchasing remanufactured (refilled?) ink cartridges for my Epson and HP printers. I buy from different sources and have been very pleased. The savings are fantastic. One cartidge for my HP printer "acted up" about halfway through the cartridge and I could not coax it to function. Considering the price, it was still a bargain. I have purchased four cartridges from that source and the other three have been perfect. I concerned myself that the cartridges might leak and wreck my printers but after several months of use, this has not happened. I have saved a lot of money using remanufactured cartridges.

This little device is a life saver! We are constantly refilling our own ink for our Canon printer. This little device, as simple as it may seem, resets the chip and makes it possible to get longer life out of each cartridge. It doesn't take a second to use, very easy, but saves lots of money. This is the second one we've purchased. Sadly, the first one was in a bag that we took to NY that was stolen, but we HAD to purchase another one to replace it, it's simply is a great item.

I had some cartridges for my IP4200 that somehow the printer managed to mess up the chips. The IP4200 would either get the color of the cartridge wrong or non existant. This resetter set them back to working properly.

Havent got to use this yet but dont expect any problems. USB connection should not be an issue if you already have a printer. I have a hard drive dock / reader that uses the same plug so I didnt have to get anything else. And last but not least just unplug your printer cord and plug it into the the resetter to power it, it only takes a few seconds.

UPDATE: 08/28/2013

Used the chip re-setter for the first time today after refilling three OEM tanks. Worked perfectly. No errors or issues whatsoever.

Just place the cartridge in the re-setter for about 2 seconds and when it lights up you're done. Every now and then it doesn't work on the first try so you have to do it a second time but no biggie. I definitely reccommend it

Instruction both written and on youtube are good. Product works as advertised. I had one cartridge that leaked a bit afterwards. I took a bit of ink out of (purged again) and all was well. Fairly easy to use.

I had a couple of questions about the product and I called JetTek. Great customer service and knowledgeable staff and very friendly. I actually got them before they opened and they still took my questions. Good job!

Difficult if not impossible to use syringe to get ink out of bottle. If mouth of bottle was wider it would work OK. Solution will probably be to put ink in plastic cup prior to filling syringe, but you always will get a bit of waste this way and another possible way to spill.

Must use tack to poke holes in purging needle. Why doesn't it come with the holes already in it? Not difficult to do just thought it would be nicer if it came pre-poked.

Overall a very good and actually a very easy way to refill my HP 950 and 951 cartridges. I'd recommend this product.

Epson Stylus Pro 3800 cartridges are expensive as you all know. About $60 locally around the San Francisco Bay Area. Including the Silicon Valley (San Jose, Santa Clara, etc.) Through Amazon you always get a better price with few exceptions. I've purchased abut 40 cartridges already. Most of Amazon's 3rd party prices are also great. (one or two charge handling, postage, etc. and it runs the price above $60, you'll know how to avoid them!)

Not sure how one would rate ink for a printer. Came in what looks like an OEM package and who really cares about the fancy boxes if they just go in the trash. Original Epson Ink works well and prints nicely reason for owning the Epson Stylus Pro 3880. What I do like about these cartridges (and printer) is that these are all high capacity ink cartridges which one is not replacing everyday and who can at these prices. Last a good while. Much better than previous ink cartridges for Epson printers.

As always, Amazon price was good, service was quick and reliable.

I've tried refilling cartridges in the past and simply went to purchasing off-brand cartridges instead. I take a LOT of pictures and haven't ever really printed them at home because I went through the cartridges so fast. And even the "cheap" ones aren't cheap. This is the most wonderful purchase I've made in a long time. I have printed about 40 8.5x11 pages of my kids' photo albums, pages filled with a collage of pictures for each month (yes, I was wayyyy behind). I also took my printer to a volunteer photo shoot for one of the local hospitals this past weekend and printed about 150 4x6 photos before I ran out of one of the colors. Now I won't hem and hah (?) when my kids want to print what I call their "silly" stuff because it's costing me next to nothing now. :-) VERY happy with this purchase.

For the first 5 months, this product was completely dependable.

I did everything to maintain it. I printed at least once every 5 days. My printer has a head cleaner which I used every month.

But as time progressed, some colors just weren't included in the prints. Sometimes it would be missing black, others magenta. It just failed print after print until it stopped printing anything completely.

It's cheap and lasted the price you would pay regular ink cartriges, but just doesn't last. At least, for me.

OH! Also, it leaked a lot of ink in my printer.

Everything worked great for about a month until the yellow print head clogged and no amount of cleaning the print heads resolved the issue. I contacted the seller through email and he said that he would call with information on how to correct this malfunction. I have yet to hear from him. What happened to the "no clog guarantee"? . I'm not impressed.

With any product like this, you can expect a few problems getting it to work. You are, after all, installing something into a printer for which the printer was not designed. I watched Youtube videos prior to beginning. The most important thing is to figure out exactly where to install the ink tube support arm and just how you will feed the tube into the printer so it tracks smoothly when the printhead moves rapidly back and forth. In my Workforce 600, I carefully removed a few pieces of plastic using a hacksaw blade and pliers. These pieces interfered with the ink tube's travel path. My concern was that the tube would snag on a protrusion or otherwise destroy itself tracking with the fast moving print head. So I was very careful during this part of the install.

My black cartridge had a bad computer chip and after multiple attempts, the printer still refused to recognize it. With one "down," you are dead in the water. I reinstalled my old cartridges so I could use the printer and emailed the seller that I had a bad cartridge. I was all set to return the system through Amazon, but upon re-examination and watching a few Youtube videos, I figured out I could more easily replace the cartridge's computer chip than ship the whole system back. I contacted the seller with this proposal, who promptly sent me a complete set of replacement chips at no extra charge. I installed the new chip in the black cartridge and in minutes I was up and printing with this new ink supply system. It's been a couple of weeks now and everything is working fine.

Before I switched to this CISS system I had already been using refillable after-market cartridges for a couple of years. This system, if it continues to work this well, eliminates the mess of always having to refill the individual cartridges using ink bottles and syringes. Very nice indeed; not to mention all the money I'll save.

I received bottles of Hotzone ink from a different order. I was curious since I had never heard of the company on wound up at Amazon. There are 6 pages here of products they sell. A lot is CIS. What was of interest is that many customers had nothing but praise for the quality of ink and spoke of long time usage with never a clog. I could not find one complaint about the ink itself. To me it looks like the OEM ink, but a longer fade test will answer that question.
