This Canon ink produces beautiful photographs from my Canon Selphy DS810 printer, but my experience (and I've had the printer for 6 years) is that you only get about 32 4x6 pictures per ink cartridge. After that, one of the colors is inevitably drained and your pictures start looking horrible ie: blue overtones, red overtones, etc. Now if they mean 75 pages for the twin pack, I'd say that's correct. I've never had a problem finding these cartridges on Amazon in the whole time I've owned the printer, they regularly stock the item and there's a PRIME offer in the mix somewhere too so keep your eye out for that if you're a PRIME member.

I have found that using generics for the colored inks isn't wise because the generics don't compare in quality to the real McCoy of Canon genuine inks. Colored generics require considerable adjustment of your printer's settings as they are much less rich in tone. But black does not matter, providing it has a "chip".The chip simply means that the cartridge is programmed with your printer to let you know the status of the ink level. When it's low, your computer will tell you.

I recommend this Canon PGI-5Bk Black Compatible Inkjet Cartridge because it works fine and it'll save you money.

This ink cartridge's main benefits are the low price, the included chip, and the decent quality ink.

But there's a price to pay for not using the much more expensive Canon ink cartridge, and that is the fact that many of the ink cartridges leak when opened, including this black model. A friend of mine and I have both been using these cartridges, and it seems as though every other one leaks immediately after popping off the orange cap. With paper towels and gloves nearby, we're able to insert the cartridges without much of a problem, but the ink can go everywhere if you're not careful.

For the price, these cartridges are just fine. I just wish they didn't leak.

Frequently with refilled/non-brand name cartridges, they leak a little, or the packaging is not too good, or they just look, well, cheap. This cartridge seems to be of very good quality, doesn't leak, and is well packed. I will definitely buy this brand again.

Bottom line: these cartridges don't work. A few pages will print fine. Then the streaks start. Shaking the cartridge will help, but it's a little annoying to have to do that every time. Even at half the price of a Canon cartridge, you'll waste twice as much ink trying to get a decent print. Back to the overpriced Canon cartridges for me. I do have to say that customer service was very responsive.

So far I have used 4-5 of these cartridges, and will continue to use them.

None have leaked when installing them, and the printing quality is good when printing text and charts on standard paper.

No experience using them for printing photos on photopaper.

Bottom line you can save lots of $$ using these cartridges for your everyday printing needs.

Very nice xylene based ink. Very opaque smooth when used with any of the Super Color markers. Dries very quickly and evenly.

The eyedropper dosent really hold very much ink, so it takes a while to refill a marker with it.

This stuff is great. I am using it to stencil traffic cones, which no paint or stencil ink will stick too. I used about half a bottle inside a small air paint sprayer. I cut the ink with lacquer thinner (about 10:1 thinner to ink) and it still covers nice and dark, dries instantly and sticks to the slick, PVC surface of the cones. It dries so fast it can be a little cloggy but still works quite well in spite.

This is a great deal for the price. I wish that they would package them 6 of the same colors as a set. I found that I use a twice the amount of yellow to every other color. I seem to end up with way to much megenta.

I have had a couple of problems buying re-manufactured in. Another supplier had a black ink that was more gray when printed, and it's color cartridge was slightly discolored when I was printing images. I didn't even know that the images were discolored until I bought this pair of color cartridges!

I bought these Eco ink remanufactured HP 93 ink for my HP Photosmart C3180 and they work flawlessly. I feel that the color matching is very accurate when comparing to an image that is on-screen--even if the image has not been converted to CMYK for printing.

The ink was easy to install and the printer instantly recognized the cartridge. Since it is used, the printer specifically gives a warning that the ink levels cannot be tracked. This is not a big problem for me, as long as they last a good amount of time. It is usually pretty obvious when the ink cartridge is getting low anyway, because printed pages will come out spotty or discolored. It is well worth the money saved when purchasing retail ink.

I can't speak for the life of these cartridges, as I have just had them for a decent amount of time. Everything seems fine and they have survived numerous pages of printing. If I find that the life expectancy is not that long I will edit my review from the high star that I have given this product.

I just put in the cartridges I bought (a month ago), So far only blue. I was sort of hoping for more.

I sent a return request thru Amazon and got several emails from ECO Ink. After some suggestions to fix the problem, they said they would send 2 new cartridges.

Just received the new cartridges and the first one appears to work OK. Working with ECO ink went well. Good service.

When I ordered this item I was under the impression that I was ordering a pack of one color ink and one black ink cartridge. However, I was wrong. You receive 2 black ink cartridges with this. After re-reading the product description (the picture is WRONG) I see that the fact that you only receive black ink was indeed mentioned. So that is partially my fault for not reading the description thoroughly.

Second, the item description notes that the ink you receive is of the "high-yield" variety. Meaning that each cartridge prints about 500 pages. I received the standard yield (about 175 pages) rather than high yield. Customer service for the Re-Stock It company was not helpful at all either. I was charged for 2 high yield ink cartridges (in total, 1000 pages worth of ink) and received 2 standard yield ink cartridges (325 pages of ink). That's quite the disparity in yield. I could have purchased the 2 standard ink cartridges for about $15 cheaper. I am very disappointed in what I received and what the item was described as. Re-Stock It's customer service was not helpful at all. The representative that I talked to did not seem to be well-informed about the products and did not help me at all. Be very cautious when purchasing this product.

Product is exactly as stated. Don't buy these if you plan on refilling yourself. Also, Lexmark products are full of tattle-tale software so they can collect information on how to better rip you off! They actually count each drop of ink used!! But ultimately, Amazon has the best price if you already own a Lexmark printer. I wish I had one of those printers that use $4.99 cartridges.
