It worked kinda. This used cartidge did not let me check the ink level electronically. It is way cheaper than my local office supply store charges for new HP cartridges. But since a new cartridge prints flawlessly for over a year, I'm going back to new.

I was disappointed in the fact that one of my full, unused cartridges would not be accepted by my HP J6480. I tried several variations to load it and the cartridge would reject. I know it's not a great deal of money, but I think the supplier should test their product before releasing it for sale as usable.

I have the Lexmark S405 and these were very runny, got ink all over when i opened them, they worked ok in my printer for the first few weeks, then my printer got really streaky and i had to clean the print head several times (wasting ink) then re align then clean over several cycles before i could get anything to print. Then when I changed out the black in, the second black in didn't work at all... What a waste of a brand new black ink... Also the packaging doesn't come how the picture looks. Mine had a weird computer chip on the top of it and the directions said to scratch off the carbon ribbon, for me it was way to confusing on how to make it work. not worth the ink on hands and the hassel...

Given the cost of ink for my printer this product is an excellent value for the money. Of course its not as neat as Lexmark ink in terms of loading, but its close enough! For $20 your getting 2 black and an entire round of color. Just follow the instructions and enjoy all the ink for the price of what 1 cartridge would normally cost.

I initially had trouble with the yellow cartridge for my Lexmark S605, as the printer would not recognize it. The seller shipped a yellow to replace the defective one and it works like a champ. The inks are on par with Lexmark at a much better price point. I am pleased with this purchase and the seller's customer service.

I gave four stars only because the yellow did not initially work and needed to be replaced.

Each cartridge didn't seem to print very many pages before turning into simply one color. One cartridge became "red only" and one "green only". So the black/color printing for each cartridge lasted approx 10 pages. I have bought many cartridges from this vendor, including pgi-225/cli-226 and have always given a 5 out of 5 rating. This time I received cartridges from a different brand than usual. 7 out of 24 arrived leaking. The vendor shipped replacements and they were from the other brand I have gotten in the past. Since the vendor immediately solved the problem, I am satisfied. However, I did communicate to the vendor that they keep track of how many problem they encounter with a particular manufacturer and stop using them. 7 out of 24 leaking is way too many.

After much researching, bought this product per on line reviews...It arrived timely..And, to my pleasant surprise, it works perfectly...No difference in the quality of print versus using actual Canon higher priced ink! Not printed out photos yet but would imagine that quality will be just as good...Saved a bunch of money..And got 12 cartridges, so I have a back up set!

Works in my Canon printer just fine. The colors are not always the best but what can one expect for ink at a small fraction of thencost of OEM. Refilling the OEM cartridges gives better quality color but you can only refill them 3-4 times and then they stop accepting refills. I HATE SALES TAX!!

These would have been awesome if they all had worked and had not leaked. The first set worked great I was SO excited. The other two sets did not. First the yellow and blue leaked. The large black couldn't be read by my printer. Ended trashing two sets. IF you get ones that all work them seem great. For me it was a 1 and 3 chance.

Not sure I want to order this one again. Oh it worked fine except once when I had to remove it and then insert it again. But it comes with only the outer plastic cover no box. As I live in the desert it was very hot then I took it from the mailbox. I worried it might not work. Lucky it did. Still not comfortable with not having the box as it should.. Better insulation at least from the heat.

Still pondering if I will order this again. A bit more at the local store but it will not have sat in the heat or weather boxless.

After having trouble with my wonderful HP printer that I loved until I used non-HP cartridges, I decided that I have to try HP cartridges in it before going any further. I got this one and a black one, inserted them, the printer went thru its 'alignment routine', and has run great prints ever since. I can't believe cartridges make that big of a difference, I always thought that was marketing talk. My Epson runs on non-genuine cartridges, and I didn't really think about it until I tried to run non-HP on my HP printer. Do not try this at home! Does not work out well. I really like my wireless HP printer and wanted to get it back up and running; these cartridges did the trick!

Color is the best using HP but the 2 cartridge pack is probably less worthy than buying the 3 color pack. HP color print is the best.

From what I've been able to determine, the 61 cartridge isn't high yield, while the 65 is.

We just changed the first ink cartridge on our mfc6490cw. I've been printing mainly with black, but also did about 300 very small (2"x3") photos with lots of sky. We managed 700 copies on the first black cartridge as far as I can tell. Cyan is at 50% and magenta and yellow don't really show as being low yet. The machine has been beeping for the last week warning us black was low, but only today did it quit printing due to lack of ink. The last page it did was as good as the first, so I have to wonder exactly how low that ink was when it quit on us. At any rate: we had no wasted prints from low ink and it was nice enough to tell us it had stopped. Can't say that with the HP at work!

I print a lot I mean a LOT and can go through a regular ink cartridge in less than two weeks. The high-yield cartridge lasts me over a month, and I print at least half a ream of paper per day, including graphics, photos, and other ink-eating documents. I only use the Brother OEM parts, because refills or generic brands can gum up the machine and will void the warranty. There is no reason to use refills or generic either, because if you buy from Amazon, a high-yield cartridge costs the same as a refill anyway.

I bought my BROTHER MFC-6490-CW printer for the 11" X 17" printing feature, which I use often. Had I known the cost per page factor, due to the cost of ink, I would NOT have purchased it. While it has a nice feature in that you can change any of the CMYK cartridges one color at a time, I am changing far to frequently. All of my other printers seemed to get 2 3 times as many pages per cartridge than this one. The cost for cartridges is modest, but I am changing them monthly now, and I most often don't print more than a half dozen color 8.5 x 11" pages a week! A typical cartridge will only get about 30 pages (8.5 X 11). The K will get more, but who can afford buying ink this often? Not me Never again, Oh Brother, I am paying too much. You build your printers to sell allot of ink.
