At first I was disappointed with the product. The quality of print was terrible with lines running through any photos printed.
I did this first test right after the cartridge was delivered and was still fairly cold from riding in the delivery truck.
I then tested the unit the next day and was pleasantly surprised, the quality of print had increased dramatically.
I would recommend this item to anyone.

20oz Refill ink kit, refill set for Canon PGI-225, CLI-226 Ink Review
I believe this is the product I ordered. Came with 3 colors plus 3 blacks. All 3 blacks appear to be the same. I refilled the original 225 and 226 cartridges. I read the instructions and watched a video online, then sort of fumbled my way through the first one. I couldn't find guidance as to where to drill, but read somewhere that the "push" circle is good. I found that wasn't the original fill hole, which is a bit further toward the rear of the cartridge, but seemed to work fine. The original hole might be much easier to drill and match the plug size. I just refilled, reset and slapped them back in the printer without doing a clean cycle or alignment, etc. Printed immediately and it looked pretty good to me. Black text was good and black. I tried a couple of photos on plain paper and nothing seems to be "off" (like red is pink or whatever). They look sharp, no bleeding. I haven't tried any really important high quality photos, so that remains to be seen, but I expect that to be fine.
Some tips I would recommend for first-timers:
1. It's a good idea to use gloves of some sort, probably latex or nitrile. I bet no matter how careful you are, a drop or two will get where you don't want it.
2. I gave up on the tiny drill almost immediately as I could see myself fiddling with it for hours. Plus the plugs that come with the kit are WAY too big to even think about jamming in the tiny hole the drill would make. I ended up using my power drill with a 5/32 (I think) bit. Kept using bigger and bigger until the plug went in but stayed tight. Make sure you don't try to go too fast and push too hard when it gets through you can shove the drill to the bottom and start going all the way through! I also held it upside down while drilling to try to minimize any shavings falling inside. I have no idea if that would happen or if it would cause problems. Don't want to find out.
3. I read that some people taped the bottom where the ink comes out (whatever that's called) as they filled them, or they keep the original orange thing to seal it. I did neither, but found that holding it over the ink bottle caught the drips. As the foam inside soaks up ink, every cartridge dripped a few times. Catching them in the bottle saves a bit.
4. The syringes seem pretty good, easy to use, very sharp! Almost like the kind they use for taking blood. Be very careful! Don't leave them where kids can get to them. But they do have a protective sleeve that snaps over the needle.
5. I put maybe 4ml in the small ones, and 10 in the bigger one (syringes are marked). More experience will show how much they will really hold without overflowing out the hole or just dripping out the bottom.
5. Take your time and make sure all the drips are done before putting them back into the printer. Wipe the outlet dry. Once you do one or two, it's impressive how quick the process is. And once the holes are drilled, I bet it would take maybe one minute each. I wouldn't recommend filling in the printer (assuming there is space) since they drip a little.
6. NOTE: Make sure you twist/press the plugs in all the way or they will catch in the printer. I found out as they made a squeak and actually fell out into the printer. Fortunately it didn't cause any damage as it pushed against them, and I fished them out without any problems.
7. I washed out the syringes to make sure there wouldn't be any dried residue. And I marked them as to which color I used just to make sure there would be no mixing.
8. Reset each one before installing. I got the orange resetter at the same time. Takes about 3 seconds and it seemed to work fine, no issues. Printer immediately recognized them as full, no surprises.
I'm impressed so far! Great product and money saver.

Ink refill kit came with everything as advertised to refill all 5 ink cartridges, the PGI225 and CYM+Bk CLI226. Instructions are adequate but could have been more detailed. It's not really obvious which black ink you use in the PGI225/CLI226BK. I assumed the MK labeled black ink goes in the PGI225 cartridge. I have previous experience with earlier Canon ink cartridges so I'm opposed to drilling/punching extra holes in these cartridges. Instead, I flip the cartridge over and refill the cart by slowly drizzling ink from the syringe onto the exposed ink outlet hole where you can see part of the "sponge" that retains the ink. Don't touch the "sponge" so you don't damage it. The "sponge" will absorb the ink until it can't absorb anymore, that is when you know it's full. Note that if you do this, some ink may come out the small vent hole on the top side. So, you will want to protect your work surface well and use protective gloves. Also be sure the ink doesn't dry and block that vent hole. I found that manufacturer cartridges take at least 1 ml less than indicated in the included instructions. The process of refilling cartridges takes time so, be patient and careful or you'll end up painting yourself or something you didn't want to. Ink seems perfectly compatible and provides me with great results, I cannot tell the difference looking at photos using manufacturer ink or the ink supplied in this kit. Definitely a money saver...over $50 for just one set of manufacturer cartridges or about $20 for this kit which will refill one set of cartridges maybe about 20-30 times (estimated). I rotate 2 complete sets of ink cartridges so I'll refill them probably 10-15 times each before I run out of this ink. I figure this will save me at least $500 in Canon ink cartridges. It's a nice color printer but these Canon ink cartridges are so small and so expensive that if you do a lot of printing/photo prints it is well worth it to get a refill kit such as this. Highly recommend the Canon CLI226 chip resetter for the Canon CLI-226 / PGI-225 Cartridges for hassle free reuse of your ink cartridges. I bought a Cannon PIXMA MG5220 printer and quickly became discouraged with the extremely short life and high cost of the Cannon inkjet cartridges. Having used an HP-932 inkjet for over a decade and refilled ink cartridges, I decided to try the Amazon 20 oz Cannon refill kit. The kit worked fine with little trouble except for the pigmented black ink, the provided refill pigmented black ink quickly plugged up the printer ink head port. I do not recommend this product until the vendor improves the quality of the black pigmented ink and produces a non-clogging ink. I have provided the manufacturer with my feedback.

The HP 21 inkjet cartridge is very light, easy to install and allows the printer to print out very good quality, durable black ink on the page. It stores for about a year after you buy it so if you want to stock up for your office or personal printing needs that's great! (It even comes with an expiration date!) HP also packs it well so that it is difficult for the cartridge to become damaged during transit.
One thing that I didn't like, however, is that the ink can go quickly. If you print a lot, you might even need to replace this cartridge every ten days or so. My needs are about 10 pages per week and I have to change the cartridge roughly every six to seven weeks. That's not good; although to be fair to this HP ink cartridge I am printing graphics.
As of the time that I am writing this, why don't we get a better discount for buying two cartridges? I notice the price to buy two is just slightly less than twice the cost of one of these HP 21 ink cartridges--but buying two should be cheaper still since you're buying two and not just one at a time; instead HP wants their customers to pay twice without giving them any discount or "price improvement." You might save a little over a dollar by buying this twinpack; but that's not much. There's just no discount nor is there any financial incentive to buy more than one at a time--and, as one reviewer notes, this is a disappointment.
Three and one-half stars for being great ink in easy to manage and install cartridges. It loses one and one-half stars for not lasting longer AND not giving customers a discount for buying more than one cartridge at a time.

If you really do not want to throw out your printer out every time it runs out of ink you cannot go wrong with this deal. The twin pack is a hair more than most dealers single packs, you have spare on hand, and you order half as often. It seems like everyday, we are trting to find the best in inkjet cartridges these days. Although some are cheaper than others, like store brands, it is the quality that makes the difference. I am writing this review to give this ink the credit it deserves. Since theguy before me took his frustration (of the seller) out on the ink, I feel it only fair to say that I have used this ink cartridge for 2 years and I print a lot! So, I have probably used about 40 or more of this exact kind of cartridge.
I have never had any kind of problem with it in any way. It is easy to install, uninstall and the quality is great.
This is my first review of any item but I felt I must let people know that this is a good product since some people give it a bad name just because they are mad at the seller.
The seller does not even appear to be Amazon.
Next time don't give the ink a bad review because you are mad at one of
the many who sell for Amazon.

Arrived quickly. Must be the lowest price on the market. Made some pretty pictures with the re-manufactured cartridge as soon as it arrived; they were more than adequate if not exactly the same as what you'd might expect from a brand new cartridge. The background sky image was just a bit streaky, hardly noticeable. I think it's because I compare it to my father's HP that produces such clean perfect prints. Cheap Blake Printing Supply MLT-D105L Compatible with Samsung MLT-D105S
I received the the cartridge Mar 14/15, printed approximately 30 copies over four days. Today, (Mar 19), I started to print off financial information for tax returns. The first page was smearing and info was looking like my old cartridge running out of toner. I printed another page and it was getting worse. The numbers and letters were barely legible. I am going to contact Amazon or Blake Printing to either send me another cartridge or refund. I am disappointed in this product. They were the most expensive aftermarket product online. I will update after contacting Amazon or Blake Printing!
I even went out of my way to pick up this product.
It performs the same as the original.

I always keep a spare ink cartridge on hand. The price here was good so I ordered. Upon receiving the HP 95 Ink Cartridge, it was in a new and sealed HP box, BUT... there was a white sticker convieniently placed on the box right next to where it says "Install By:". I carefully peeled the sticker back and discovered the 'Install By' date Was MAY 2009. Today is SEPT 2013!! Now I will not know if the cartridge will even work when it is needed in the future.

This manufactured ink is great. Buy an empty ink cartridge for under $20, and you can refill it for under $10...saves you hundreds a year if you are a heavy printer or a college student and have to write a lot of papers. If you are just a casual printer, then it won't make too much difference.The one main problem is that the printer indication (the stuff that pops up as you print to let you know of any problems and status of printing) will read "Black ink is low. Click below now to order a new cartridge from Lexmark". Well, I don't like popups and reminders annoy me, not to mention i have little patience, and i can personally handle it. To me, it's better to close reminder popups and save money each year, than to overspend and avoid the popups.
(I heard on a forum that if you put your regular tape on the left side of the contactsas you are looking at the cartridge and at the side of the orangish contact strip facing the back of the printerthe popups will stop. Your printer will register a question mark on the ink, but it will still print without nagging reorder messages)

Decided to try out a remanufactured compatible ink cartridge for my HP 335 all-in-one printer. Received my cartridges two days after ordering, I was expecting it to take much longer. There was a plastic snap off case that covered the ink strip, easy to remove, then all I had to do was pop it into the printer. Printer recognized it right away and printed off the alignment page no problem. NEW HP45 Black Cartridge (Printers- Inkjet/Dot Matrix) Reviews
I agree with some of the reviews that the cartridges don't last very long and are expensive. I tried a refill product from Dataproducts for both b&w (51629A)and color cartridges (51649A). Both work well. I didn't trust the cover for the color refill and used the old one by attaching it with tape. Works fine so far. Hope this helps.

I received a twin pack of HP 45 cartridges on June 30, 2011. The warranty as stated on the package expires in July 2011. When I contacted SophiaGlobal, they said they would warrant the cartridges for an additional 2 years. I decided to keep the cartridges, but I feel (for Truth in Advertising) that they should have noted in the ad that they were old cartridges. They stated in an email "we have sold hundreds of OEM HP ink cartridges with expired warranty dates over the last few years". So be sure to ask before ordering if you want "fresh" ink.Bob

Some reviewers complained that this cartridge has a low ink supply. I suppose that may be true for someone running a very active office or home-office with very demanding print needs. However, in my Deskjet 882C (an excellent printer) used at home with moderate printing (in a home-office), these cartridges last just fine. I have been using them in my 882C since March, '99 and am only on my 4th one 4 in 16 months is not too bad. But even more importantly, is the excellent performance: clear black text, never smudged or faded, very professional looking on practically any paper. (2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)Let's face it, how much can you really say about an ink cartridge? Using this on my HP970cxi produces very good print quality. The biggest problem I've had with the cartridges has been a tendency to dry up more quickly than they should. A couple of them have gone dry far too soon after purchase both in terms of time and the number of sheets printed. Fortunately, most of them hold up for a reasonable period of time. Works with my printer and was nicely packaged as opposed to many remanufactured cartridges. These are from a certified remanufacturer as opposed to someone just refilling old cartridges (which havent lasted very long for me). They included a prepaid mailing label for recycling old cartridges. Don't have information on how long this cartridge will last, but everything working well so far.
Cartridge continues to work, so it appears that this manufacturer fully refills their cartridges (or at least they did for this one)
