The first order was misinterpreted on my part and I missed the seller's email requesting/verifying or changing the product type. So when the cartridges arrived, they did not insert into the printer as I expected they would. I called the Seller, and he promptly (!!) sent me the other type of remanufactured cartridges. I was very impressed with his response and response time. The cartridges are much cheaper than an HP-manufactured cartridge. The ink does not seem to last as long (as an HP original) but for the quantity and price, I'm very happy. The quality of print looks no different from the HP original.

I was amazed at the seller's responsiveness and highly recommend him! thank you for great service!!

My printer was not printing the Cyan (Blue) part of anything. So I was getting wrong colors in photo. I tried all different measures listed and suggested but the problem continued.

Ultimately I chose to try to change the head. When I put this new one, the printer got back the missing color. Again the printer is working like a new.

Before installing I remembered to shake the new head cartridge 6 times (I did 10) in a way described.

I am now very happy.

For the price, it doesn't last long enough. For simple, daily usage, this ink may serve your purpose, however if you are a heavy duty printer like I am, look for another product to meet your needs.

The ink quality was just fine. The price was good, and it arrived quickly and in good shape.Everything worked just fine.I have used several different vendors at Amazon,but these two cartridges seemed to have run out much quicker (given the same past workload)than usual.There is no real no way to ensure how full it is when you get it. I have always wondered if there was a minimum level by law or industry standard they had to refill to.Otherwise it was an ok product.

After years of supporting printers with these printheads, I generally haven't had many problems. It can definitely be difficult to figure out which printhead needs replacing, despite what the display says. Make sure to wipe the contacts clean on all printheads before replacing any. Replacing all at once may be a good strategy.

My large scale printer/plotter's print heads needed to be replaced.

So I went to Amazon to order them but they came from a second party.

These darn print heads have a time stamp chip in them and they will shut down and will not let you use them any longer.

The ones sent to me did not have an expiration date on the packaging. So when I installed them they were already expired.

I ended up going to Draphix where I buy my drafting paper and ordering 4 new ones, Between the ones I got through Amazon and the ones I got through Draphix I ended up spending close to $400 to get running again.

Believe them when they say this is "non OEM". In my opinion it is definitely "not" compatible with the CLP 300. I changed this toner and within 10 pages ended up with huge blue streaks. This cartridge killed my CLP 300. Use LD if you still have working CLP 300. I had a lot more success with them.

Best Canon Compatible BCI-24 (BCI24) Ink Cartridges Multi 12-Pack: 6 Deals

I've had great luck using aftermarket ink cartridges with Canon inkjets. I print a great deal in my business and rely strictly on aftermarket cartridges. Almost all of these are made in China. I can go through 100 or more cartridges in a year without a problem. However I don't print photos (I've read that the manufacturer's cartridges are probably much better in this regard).

I'm using these cartridges in a Canon Multipass MP360 and they work perfectly.

The price is the lowest I've ever seen for these cartridges and the shipping charges are unusually low for such a small quantity ($2.95).

At a total cost of less than $16.00 (with shipping) for 12 cartridges this is a stunning deal. I normally have to buy at least 50 at one time to get such a low price per cartridge.

Recommended.

Update (March 2010): You may want to find a different mix of black to color cartridges. I routinely use 5 black cartridges before I replace a single color one. Amazon offers a 5 black / 2 color combo which I think is a wiser choice.

I have bought lots of "after-market" cartridges. These are the absolute best yet. One thing I discovered is that when I took off the tape over the air holes, I also needed to poke through and make sure the holes are open. I had thought the cartridge ran dry fast, but when I looked closely at the holes, I could see a clear film left behind. Once I poked that color open, the cartridge ran for hundreds more pages.

I rarely print perhaps a page or two once a month on average. These cartridges appear to dry up and/or clog if you don't regularly print. I'd get one use out of them, then nothing. I tried cleaning & deep cleaning multiples times to no effect.

Genuine Canon cartridges don't suffer this problem; I can go months without printing and come back and print with no issue. Don't buy these cartridges if you're an occasional printer; you'll regret it.

The black ink works almost exactly the same as the Canon brand. I did have some difficulty trying to get the color ink to work though. The colors never came out exactly as they were supposed to so it never looked quite as good as it should have. However, there is a big price difference for the compatible cartridges and if you can get them to work it is well worth it.

Hp ink cartridges work well. However, I doubt page count is incorrect. I go through 50-60 pages and have to change cartridges. HP prices are exorbitant and their products still use an extreme amount of packaging. (They did, however, improve from a few years ago.)

Discount Xerox 8R7971 Black Ink Cartridge

I thought I'd save a bunch of money by buying "high-quality" inkjet cartridges from an online vendor at just over half the price of the Xerox cartridges at my local office megastore. They even looked to be built very nicely, when I got them.

Unfortunately, I discovered that the REAL difference is the ink itself, and it really matters. The ink in the clone cartridges suffered from two serious problems that made it a really bad buy: 1) It's way too watery, and so it causes the paper in solid colored areas to get wavy, and 2) It dries far too slowly, so while the Xerox cartridges can print, say, text on a light grey background, trying that with the clone cartridges resulted in the text bleeding badly with the background, becoming almost unreadable.

Learn from my mistake the Xerox cartridges are worth the difference, and Amazon's price seems pretty good. I'm only buying real Xerox ink cartridges for my M940 from now on...

I have a venerable M750 Xerox which has served me well. It still does a great job and these high capacity black cartridges never give me any hassle. For the printing I do, I have been very happy with the M750 and while occasionally I see a printer that tempts me it is hard to switch when this one does photos as well as graphics and type so well.
