After years of supporting printers with these printheads, I generally haven't had many problems. It can definitely be difficult to figure out which printhead needs replacing, despite what the display says. Make sure to wipe the contacts clean on all printheads before replacing any. Replacing all at once may be a good strategy.

My large scale printer/plotter's print heads needed to be replaced.

So I went to Amazon to order them but they came from a second party.

These darn print heads have a time stamp chip in them and they will shut down and will not let you use them any longer.

The ones sent to me did not have an expiration date on the packaging. So when I installed them they were already expired.

I ended up going to Draphix where I buy my drafting paper and ordering 4 new ones, Between the ones I got through Amazon and the ones I got through Draphix I ended up spending close to $400 to get running again.

There is nothing like genuine HP ink cartridges. I have had issues in the past with remanufactured ink, so I only stick with the best.
