These pens are my favorite. The .05 point is good for thin paper (charts) because it doesn't soak through the paper. The .07 size is smoother writing for general writing.

This worked as expected. The ink indicator on PC did not show the ink level correctly, but this is the nature of the Lexmark printer. Other than that, the print quality is acceptable.

all the refilled cartridges have issues with black and color trueness.

I am old school when it comes to remanufactured products. I usually by the original at a premium knowing that I will get the quality I expect. This time I ventured into the wilderness and decided to try this product because of the savings. I decided to take a chance. After receiving the product before promised I tried the ink cartridges and check for quality flaws. So far, so good. I have not detected any decrease in quality. We use our printer mostly for school projects and personal stuff. This remanufactured ink cartridges rock and the ordering/delivery turnaround was great. As far as I am concerned, this product is highly recommended with this supplier.

It is always dicey to purchase aftermarket refills particularly when photo printing is the main use...but, these remanufactured products from Blake Printing Supply are working like new Epson product...don't hestitate to try these out!

I waited a couple of months to see how the ink would work and can I say wow! I will purchase my ink from Blake Printing Supply from now on. The printer has no problem with it , no clogs and picture colors are great.

I was a little hesitant at first, as I usually stay away from remanufactured items. But I was extremely pleased with the results received; a fraction of the price of "NEW" cartridges, but noticed absolutely no quality difference. Great product at a great price!

UPDATE: I see on the box it clearly says, "Once installed, do not remove until ready to replace with a new cartridge."

They worked in my MFC-J6910DW. The ink seems fine, and at a good price. However, the black cartridge is not treated like an extra capacity cartridge. Therefore the printer will complain that the black ink cartridge is low on ink before it really is low . I removed it to check the level because the plastic is clear on one side and you can see the ink inside. It clearly had approx. 40% of the ink remaining. However, by removing it with that much ink remaining it dripped onto the floor. I reinserted it into the printer. The printer asked if I changed the cartridge. I answered "no". Therefore the printer continued to complain that the black ink cartridge was "too low" to maintain print quality. I removed the black cartridge again, being more careful to avoid dripping (by tilting it upward). I reinserted it into the printer. The printer asked if I changed the cartridge. I answered "yes" but the printer did not like that answer. It told me to remove the cartridge and reinsert it "slowly". So I did. The printer still gave an error. My guess is that it can tell when you insert a fresh cartridge because of the force needed for the needle to pierce the cartridge (this only happens on the first insertion). Anyway, the lesson is you will have to ignore the "low ink" warning for these black ink cartridges until you actually see poor print quality. That means for each printing an extra pop-up warning to clear both on your computer and on the printer display. Perhaps there is a way to disable these warnings on the printer or PC.

These came at an unbelievable price and I couldn't be happier with the performance so far. No issues with them and with monitoring ink and as anyone who uses these things knows often times these generic cartridges causes the ink monitor to go all screwy. Not in this case.

I bought an Brother MFC-J430W. The black ink finally ran out and I went to use this ink. A couple days later this catridge was no longer detected in the system. I followed instuctions to remove, reinsert, etc. No luck. Now I've replaced the yell and we'll see how that goes. Intially they seem to be fine. I will order from a different company to see if it is these cartridges that are the issue.

Update: Order new ink from Sophia Global Compatible. Seems to work great!

So I run out of ink on New Year's Eve, and my local office supply store let's call it, "Thumbtacks" is of course closed for the holiday. Irritated, I decide to price the cartridges on Amazon. (This is a new printer, and this is the first time I'd needed a new cartridge.) I was blown away by the price difference. We're talking more than $20 cheaper here, for the exact same product. At Thumbtacks it's $32 for ONE cartridge and $57 for a 2-pack.

I've owned many printers, but this is my first Brother. I'm really pleased with this ink. I am an artist and often use printouts in my art, and one of the best things about this black ink is that it is very water-resistant once printed. This the only printer I've ever owned that has that quality. With most printers the slightest drop of water washes the ink right off the page, but this stuff stays put. (The colors do run, though.)

Thumbtacks dropped the ball on this one. (It's New Year's Eve. See what I did there?) My advice? Definitely buy this ink here. As an added bonus, take your empty cartridges to Thumbtacks and they'll give you $3 in store credit for each one.

By the way, it's not listed here, but I have a Brother MFC-5890. This is the correct ink for that model.

So far it is working great! It is the largest black ink cartridge you can get for the Canon MX922. With tax it was about $38 so if it ever does run out of ink someday I will try to get it refilled at Costco. I noticed the other day that they started to refill the MX922 ink cartridges. To save on ink costs I do have a suggestion that works for me. I rarely need color. So go to control panel and pick printer. Find your printer but don't click on it. Hover over it and right click it and pick printing preferences. Now choose duplex printing, gray and fast. This will only use your big black ink tank when you print. If you want color click print on Firefox or your document as you normally would. A box will come up asking you how many prints etc. Now in that box click properties and unclick the previous items I told you to click and you will get colour. Click ok and print. You will need to do that for colour prints each time unless you go back to your global settings in control panel or save a document in the colour preferences. However, if you leave it in control panel 'as is' to print colour normally your ink in ALL colours will run out quickly. Even if the article is all black. This printer will try to mix the small black and colours to make a better print. With this Canon model MX922 you can print anywhere in the house using an iPod Touch 5th Gen. Good luck.

This ink is as described and extremely permanent. I recommend wearing disposable gloves when refilling whatever you are using the ink for. It takes a little longer for the ink to dry on glossy surfaces, but it dries immediately on cardboard and paper.

Well I must admit that I had a problem with one of the cartridges and posted a review. My printer freaked out and wouldn't recognize any of the regular Canon cartridges after I installed a yellow one from Sophia, so I was a little frustrated.

Almost immediately, the company contacted me and apologized, and ended up sending me two sets of new cartridges for FREE plus requested that Amazon refund me 50% of what I paid originally! The cartridges arrived in a gift box with a purple ribbon, filled with caramels wrapped in gold foil along with the cartridges.

I've been using these cartridges for a couple of months now and they fit the printer perfectly and the inks look good in use. My only complaint is that when you are removing the plastic coverlets before placing them in the printer they tend to leak a little bit. I've gone to work, meetings and school with cyan and magenta hands. Fix this and they'll be perfect.
