I purchased a re-manufactured ink cartridge for my Canon MP160 printer hoping to save money but all it did was cause me stress and more money trying to fix the problem. The item was delivered and I immediately placed it in my printer. It printed the documents but only every other line. I cleaned out the printer heads and trouble shoot it some different ways but all with the same problem. Then I contacted the company and they sent me back a reply that was very unprofessional with TONS of grammar mistakes as if they are a false company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Simply put, its just black ink for a super good price. The colored stuff I bought to match it.. not so great but you can't really go wrong with plain old black.

The product I purchase from the seller DOESNT even look like the product in the picture.

It didnt work so I returned it immidiatly but I had to pay for the shipping back as well as a 15% restocking fee... Seller tried to convince me to remove my feedback in exchange for a full refund.

The Carterages do not fit correctly. They also leak very bad... Most do not work or are recognized by the printer. The ones that do clog the print head over and over again.

The seller "Dinsink" is selling this Horrible Product. I have purchased in in the past from this same listing from the origional lister who no longer selling on Amazon. It was a great product back then. The one that is being sold here is not the same product and doesnt even look the same. Beware! Dont waste your money or time. I nearly broke my printer removing it as it doesnt fit well and became stuck.

I chose this item to save money, and that I did, but it took close to two weeks to get them to work in my printer, they are a supstitute for the actual ink I should get, but at a savings of over half the amount of the name brand, I really can't complain. It does work so givng a rating of "its okay" is a little tough and the company worked with me on a very friendly basis, sticking with me till all the bugs were worked out. The biggest complaint is the amount of ink I wasted getting it to work, it would have been a nice gesture to offer me another complete set at a better than usual savings, but thats no way to make a company profitable.

This particular cartridge and ink is designed by HP specifically for the Microboards G4 Publisher. So, you really don't have any other choice. However, the cost-effective printing I read about before I purchased the G4 is true. Thus far, I've printed nearly 600 CDs/DVDs and still have over 80% black ink available! (Color ink is 48%) Granted, I'm not doing full-coverage (edge to edge) printing, but compared to ink/paper labels, this is remarkably efficient.

I've printed on Kodak, Verbatim and JVC/Taiyo Yuden media...all with excellent results. Quick drying, non-smearing and permanent, crisp prints every time.

Although lower cost substitute ink cartridges are sold all over the web, and on this site as well, the few bucks you might save aren't worth the all-too genuine risks of replacing with generic "no-name" ink tanks. I've heard (but wouldn't wish to try it, frankly) that generic inks fade faster when exposed to daylight, could clog the print-head spray nozzles, don't spread properly on top-quality paper, and simply can't compare with the uniquely formulated dyes that have been specially researched for your printer and its matching photo papers. The Canon i9900 employs eight (8) cartridges. For several years I purchased the Canon 8-pack of refills. The eight separate colors seem to run out in even succession--except for the red and green--I have several new cartridges in my drawer. The six-pack does not include the red and green. Perfect! By the way, the Canon i9900 has been flawless for the several years I've owned it. And the photo color and clarity continues to amaze everyone. This may have something to do with the fact that I have never used any ink but the genuine Canon ink. You're money ahead to buy this 6-pack rather than get hit for $12 to $14 each down at your super-office-supplies store.

The product serves its purpose, albeit the lines are a little streaky though that is probably more the printer's fault than the ink.

I have had problems with the cartridges not lasting very long and the ink drying out if not used regularly.

So far it is working great! It is the largest black ink cartridge you can get for the Canon MX922. With tax it was about $38 so if it ever does run out of ink someday I will try to get it refilled at Costco. I noticed the other day that they started to refill the MX922 ink cartridges. To save on ink costs I do have a suggestion that works for me. I rarely need color. So go to control panel and pick printer. Find your printer but don't click on it. Hover over it and right click it and pick printing preferences. Now choose duplex printing, gray and fast. This will only use your big black ink tank when you print. If you want color click print on Firefox or your document as you normally would. A box will come up asking you how many prints etc. Now in that box click properties and unclick the previous items I told you to click and you will get colour. Click ok and print. You will need to do that for colour prints each time unless you go back to your global settings in control panel or save a document in the colour preferences. However, if you leave it in control panel 'as is' to print colour normally your ink in ALL colours will run out quickly. Even if the article is all black. This printer will try to mix the small black and colours to make a better print. With this Canon model MX922 you can print anywhere in the house using an iPod Touch 5th Gen. Good luck.

I have an MFC-490cw printer, a supported printer according to the product description. I have always purchased the LC61bk and LC61cl packs from Brother via Amazon. Never had a problem The first cartridge I used from Sophia Global was the yellow. It worked fine. Today, in the middle of a print, I needed to replace the black cartridge. I was surprised that the cartridge was not recognized by the printer. I reinserted the cartridge multiple times in an effort to get the cartridge recognized. I'm not sure why there is a problem, maybe quality control. I'm off to buy a black cartridge locally and put in an order for the real Brother cartridges.

I gave the product 2 stars because the yellow worked fine and maybe the other cartridges will work too.

The black cartridge keeps drying out. We only print a few pages every other week or so and by the time it is needed the printer would not work...got 2 of those...basically the first one was used up "deep cleaning" so it would work. Got real CANON and that one is working perfect.

I'm definitely finding this ink is lasting WAY longer than the normal ink that isn't high-capacity. I've been using it for a month now and it's barely down at all, while with the normal ink cartridge I'm usually halfway down. If you are looking for Epson Ink, without the Epson price or store price, this is for you. Also the extra capacity is much better than the standard capacity tanks that ship with the printer. I buy all my inks from here now. Don't even have to leave the house, and they are not expired, or old like some sellers.

This was a much better yield than the 68 or 69 that I accidentally bought the last time. 97 was what originally came with the printer and it lasted us a year. I couldn't tell you how many copies that is, but we are a homeschool family with a home office that uses the printer daily. I was very pleased with how long it lasted.

With ink cartridges, there's really no in-between either the ink worked or it didn't right? The price was cheaper than the price of two pack purchased in most retail stores throughout the United States. The seller shipped quickly and it arrived quickly. One fairly minor thing is that the product page says twin pack in my mind, that meant one package with two ink cartridges, but when the package arrived it was two individual cartridges packaged together. That's really a minor nitpicky thing though. The bottom line is that I got two ink cartridges and am quite happy with my purchase.

The expiration date for these cartridges was August 2010. I started using the first cartridge last week (September 7-9), and after printing one or two documents, I got the signal that the ink was low in that cartridge and I needed to change it. So I figured, "Okay, it was a fluke..." and I put the second cartridge in yeserday (September 12). Once again, after printing two or three documents, I got the "Low ink" message again.

What an aggravation, and a waste of my money, as well. I won't make this mistake again!
