Maybe it is just me, but I find HP's 564 ink designations to sometimes be confusing. This is the photo black, not the everyday black ink. This is the cartridge with the "bowtie" symbol rather than the "pentagon" featured by the ordinary black cartridge. The two are not at all interchangeable. Five stars if that is what you are looking for, and I did not think that the price was out of line. RJB.

HP ink cartridges are notoriously overpriced. I have the photosmart plus. It's a good machine but drinks more ink than a drunken sailor drinks. The cost to keep replacing the ink makes this machine not worth it! The only way to stay out of the poor house with HP printers is to buy aftermarket ink to refill your cartridges. HP protects against this (because they dishonestly make their cartridges run down so fast) by not allowing the computer chip to be reset (can someone out there make a device to do this please). So, you can use aftermarket ink to fill your cartridge but you won't get a read-out on how much ink is left...this is really annoying.

This will likely be my last HP printer...I'm sick of paying them so much for their ink when other companies are so much cheaper and offer the same or better quality products...

I'm not sure if this is a legit cartridge or not. When I opened the shipping box this cartridge was wrapped in some plastic without the retail casing but it still had the HP logos and markings. However, there was a label placed on the plastic insisting this was a new HP ink cartridge. Unfortunately my printer disagrees and is telling me this is not a genuine HP 564 Photo Black cartridge. Beware of shady seller!

I do not know what is wrong wh this item but I have never experienced low ink alert shortly after putting his item in my printer, did they not fill it up all the way? Will definitely not buy this tem from here again.

Label on cartridge fell off when I took it out. It worked once, then printer wouldn't recognize it. Threw it away and bought a new one in a store. Worked perfectly. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Not worth the problems it caused. when I pulled the lab off the Cartridges the Ink ran out into the printer well where the cartridge sets and now my Printer will not work. Remanufactured Cartridges are not worth the bother. The company sent me a new one but I returned it still waiting for my refund.

These cartridges print well and seem to last as long as regular HP cartridges. The only problem I found is that the printer ink cartridges level cannot be determined because the supply levels come up with UNKNOWN. That is no problem as they can be used until they are empty anyway. Just have new cartridges on hand.

I bought this cartridge because the title and description said it would work with a DELL All-in-One 962. This is false. It does not work with a DELL All-in-One 962. Refer to the correct part number rather than what it says it's supposedly compatible with.

Ink arrived is a battered package. Ink appears to be old and prints bluish-grey instead of black. I have had better prink quality with cartridges that have been refilled.

I was skeptical about ordering a re-manufactured product, but I couldn't pass up the price, about 1/3 the cost of a new unit. The original box arrived damaged and was partially opened and also a section of the shipping box looked re-taped shut. I tried the unit anyway, since it appeared to be encased in a layer of bubble wrap. The unit didn't work! No image at all on the page. I tried several toner cartridges and multiple cleanings. NADA. I sent an email to the vendor through Amazon explaining the situation. A replacement drum was sent out Priority Mail, which I received in two days. This unit worked and is still working (about 2 weeks now) flawlessly. I did not have to send the defective unit back. Vendor would have gotten 5 stars, but I took off a star for my inconvenience (even though the shipping condition was probably out of the vendors' control).

after a few years with a drum that waste toner, print bad and a lot of things, found the drum was the problem, then with this one all go back to normal, like the first time i buy my dcp-1000 printer, images now print very clear, same with a copy, and the price was really good, a local manufacturers offers me the same drum at 3-4 time the cost, I recommend it.

This cartridge works as advertised. I've had it last a full 450 pages the cartridge is easy to replace the cartridge is quick to replace (unless you're an engineer and feel that you have to study the entire mechanism).

I am on my 4th Brother PC-201 ink cartridge and never had any problem with them. They never seem to run out of ribbon but eventually my fax I use for making copies for everybody in neighborhood does come to an end. I always keep one spare around . It is worth every penney you spend on it. Very simple to install in fax machine.

I will never buy a refilled cartridge again! the colors quality was very bad,no contrast with alot of noise in the prints!

Well,at least I had all the colors in the gamma,after about 2 months(about 30-40 pages printed out) the cartridge started to use only the green color so now every print is green!its a home lexmark printer.The usage is just for domestic purpose like printing coupons!

I wasn't happy with the color, as it didn't come out as usual-the black came out green...BUT, I am pleased that the manufacturer I purchased it from refunded the price quickly. A good ink for the price, just don't expect high quality for almost one third of the price of the original ink, be fair, for me i like this ink for my use, the black color for some reasons print dark green, but that doesn't bother me because it is very very dark green, and as i said for my use it is not a big deal, i think when i am done with it i'll buy it again, good product for good price.

I was concerned about what I had read about the chips in the cartridges preventing non-OEM cartridges from working on my Epson 645 printer. At $11 for two sets of cartridges I decided to give it a try. When I installed the cartridges the printer recognized them as genuine Epson, no issues at all. I bought this ink because I knew the starter ink that came with my Epson Workforce 435 wouldn't be sufficient to last me through the summer, let alone the school year. I've only used 1 cartridge so far after replacing my black ink, and so far it's working perfectly. At first, when I installed the ink, the screen showed that it only had a tiny bit of ink left. After a little while, this was fixed and I had full black ink. At this point, I noticed that my colored ink went from completely full to about 80% full, but I soon realized that it was because the ink has higher capacity than the starter ink, so it's understandable that a full cartridge of low capacity ink appears relatively less full than a new high capacity cartridge. I'll update this review if I change my opinion of this product any time in the near future.

Poor quality. The black worked well for about 12 pages of typical text, then began streaking. After about 20 pages the printer gave an error message that the black cartridge was not recognized.

The colors all began streaking within 5-10 pages, with cleaning the nozzle having no effect.

Cartridges fit very tightly in carriage.

I have used a lot of non-OEM ink in other printers and never had the problems I have experienced with this ink.
