its ink cartridges...not sure what to comment. they either have ink in them or they don't. if they are genuine HP cartridges, don't know what the problem would be.

Should work great for the price you pay. I have ordered replacement ink from some of those online company's that sell refurbished cartridges. I have had good luck with most of it at a fraction of the cost. Only once did I have a problem. I contacted the company, they sent me another set of cartridges that worked fine.

The printer worked for about 3 weeks and then just stopped. Called the HP help line and they told me to go buy new ink cartridges (although the printer said they were half-full). Bought new HP ink cartridges and the machine instantly told me that two of the colors were empty and refused to print at all. WORTHLESS.
