I have an OLD HP 5L printer. Old because the printer has not been made in years -you can only find it on auctions and such -but it runs like a charm. It is a great PCL laser-jet. Problem has always been the cartridges. When they came out new in 1996 they were about 65.00. Now 15 years later they are $20-$45.00. I decided to try this Re-manufactured cartridge simply because of the price $19.00 plus shipping which I think was about $3.99.

I have never really gone with Remanus before for the 5L so I had no idea what to expect. This Remanu though was like heaven. It is actually darker, better quality than the OEM by HP. The ink does not smudge or fade after hours in sunlight (sometimes I have left paper outside for a day or two but really nothing more than that). The cartridge seems to be holding up to heavy printing (about 4-10 pages 5 days a week -I work from home).

I would recommend this to anyone with the 5L and I would recommend the 5L to anyone looking for a PCL Laserjet -they can be found cheaply now (about the price of a cartridge plus exorbitant shipping) and work well with all types of Windows and the PCL allows Linux networking as well.

These pens are my favorite. The .05 point is good for thin paper (charts) because it doesn't soak through the paper. The .07 size is smoother writing for general writing.

I ordered this item and it arrived in 2 days as promised. The printer recognizes it as a used cartridge, but it comes completely full and is compatible with my hp printer. Works great, the ink is as good as my hp cartridges. I had no problem with the ink running out too fast as mentioned in another review, and I've printed about 150 pages so far with only one bar gone. I will definitely be buying this again!

I originally ordered a package of 3 ink cartridges for the convenience so that whenever I run out of ink I immediately have another to pop in the printer. The first black ink cartridge was perfect, lasted me a long time then I pop in the second black ink cartridge and when I tried to print, nothing came it and my printer claimed that it was "empty". I'm 100% sure I did not mix the used and new one together because I popped the used one back in the printer and that was empty because I had drained it. And when I took out the original packaging, warranty didn't last that long. So it was too late to do anything about it.

didn't know whether to order a remanufactured Ink cartridge again because of past experiences with other brands that have failed to work properly. but, the reviews were good and I took a chance and ordered this one. I tried to save some money, since these cartridges are so expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. The colors seem somewhat faded, but what is worst is that black is not black at all. Instead, it looks blue. Quite disappointing.

Company has serious quality control issues. I had to return two printheads before I got one that worked properly. The ink in first printhead had all leaked out into the package. I washed it off and tried to install it in the printer but it gave me a printhead error that would not clear. The second printhead worked but printed poorly. The third printhead worked perfectly. I believe it is probably worth the risk, considering the big cost difference ($45 for their refurb vs $79 for new one) and that they will replace defective units.

I received my order and when I install the T0530 color cartridge and select print it tells me that I don't have a cartridge install! I have check to make sure tape was removed on item and it was and it still does not reconize. I need a replacement shipped out immediately for replacement for this defective item. I need it ASAP and ask that you expedite it to me like overnight express or something to that effect. Thank you, Mike Couch

With ink cartridge's specifically, we are not able to issue replacements, only refunds. Given, the description though, a replacement would not benefit you as the defect comes from the chip on the cartridge.

Gives nice clear crisp prints, and I love the way they only fit in the correct holes. I'm getting rid of the printer because it's too darn expensive to feed ink. Wastes most of it cleaning and calibrating itself. Takes almost 3 minutes for first print and won't work if any of the ink is out (won't even print black).

I received the product and everything looked good. I inserted the cartridges and they did not work in my HP C3680 printer initially. I had to fumble around with printer settings and what not. The printer continued to tell me that, even though the labels said they are, these cartridges ARE NOT HP ink cartridges. Finally I was able to convince my printer to accept the new ink but then quickly noticed that the photo black was leaking all over the inside of my printer. I am confident this was not operator error. 90% of the photo black cartridge and about 20% of all the other cartridges leaked out all over the inside. Mind you the printer does work now, but who knows how long my spilled cartridges will last. I was not impressed with the quality or compatibility and I would not recommend this product.

These cartridges seem to work as well as new ones. One cartridge leaked slightly as I opened it, but I was still able to get it installed and print with it. I would watch out for that and be careful what you touch when installing. The slight mess and the lack of ink status were a fair trade off for the lower price versus the new cartridge. Had one of the cartridges not leaked slightly I probably would have rated these higher.

The ink actually leaked out when trying to insert in the printer. Not a good thing. Through them out rather than dealing with the mess. It pains me to pay for the more expensive HP replacements, but ultimately cheaper than getting more of these.

The Epson ink cartridge is the best choice for the Epson printer. I've got the 1520 printer and have at times been sent supposedly compatible brands of ink cartridges and found them to be much inferior. Highly recommend the 1520 and its own Epson 1520 ink cartridge!
