This worked out of the box. Image quality is very good. The drum though has a slight scratch that does show up on the pages, but for my use, its ok. Can't tell how long it will last yet. only 500 pages so far

+ The return process was smooth and relatively convenient.

Reading reviews, it seemed like the cheapest ones were hit and miss if the reviewer rec'd one and it worked, it was great, but it looks like a lot of folks rec'd ones that didn't work and had to be returned.

Based on this, I didn't order the cheapest replacement cartridge available so I went with this one, but (as noted), when it arrived it didn't work.

Not sure what else to say, as "working" is generally a top requirement of mine.

Wasn't pleased at all. The ink leaves streaks on my copies. Even ran a head cleaner to see if I could clean it up but to no avail. Guess I should have known for $6 per pair instead of $34 each I was going to be disappointed. I'm learning the hard way.

The great thing about these ink refills is that I can refill my ink cartridges 20 times for the cost of buying all the cartridges one time. It comes with easy instructions to follow and stands for the cartridges while you refill them. The only thing is that the chip isn't replaced so your computer still tells you the ink is low and if one color is lower than another, there is no way of knowing which one. But it's still worth it for how much money you save, even if you just refill it once, you save $40.

Seems some of the ink in certain cartridges are not full. This has happened before with other ink cartridge replacments from LD.

I guess you get what you pay for. The ink is already gone and it has not been 1 month. When I first inserted the cartridges my printer reading was the ink was low. I followed the directions before I inserted the cartridges. Now before I print or copy something I have to remove all the cartridges and invert them then re-insert them before I can print anyting.

The cartridges are the most affordable on Amazon, though I still hate paying for them. The problem is that the all in one device doesn't work unless it has the color cartridges, even if you only want to print in black!

tried installing the yellow cartridge which was leaking ink! The printer would not except the cartridge. had to go to Walmart and buy a yellow cartridge that worked.

There are cheaper knock-offs, but this one had better reviews so I paid a few dollars extra for the Sophia Global.

I installed the cartridges about a month ago. It was surprisingly hard to get the first clean print out of these things. I had to have the printer clean and retest over and over again. Many more times than the last set of cartridges I installed. After finally passing the test, the prints looked decent enough.

Since then I've printed a handful of times. Every time I try to print, I get a really faded print. To fix it I have to use the clean function and then retry the print. This sucks up a lot of time and is a real pain if you were hoping to pick up the print on your way out the door.

I never had an issue with the previous set of cartridges so I don't believe my printer was the problem. I hope your cartridges work better for you than they did for me...

I've had bad luck with non-OEM ink before but the price was so low that I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The ink arrived promptly, fit perfectly, and allowed the use of the Brother Staus monitorwhich tells you how much ink you have left in each cartridge. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

Ink cartridges are way too expensive; I was thinking of buying a whole new printer when I saw these Nu-Kotes. I have used both the black and the color cartridges; they look pretty much like the Epson cartridges, fit perfectly. The seller fills the order quickly. But after about a couple days' use, there is a funny smell from the printer. It's not bad, and didn't keep me from buying more -but also, particularly with the color cartridge, there are gaps and lines when printing; need to keep cleaning the heads to get a good print. Still, it's worth it for th overall savings.

Consumer Reports rates PrintPal the highest of non-Epson cartridges, so that may be a better bet, but it isn't available through Amazon, unfortunately.

This product is absolutely awesome! It took me about 10 minutes to install/connect to my printer and it was working immediately. I never have to worry about running out of ink, that's for sure. The prints are gorgeous quality is excellent product works perfectly with my printer. I was so impressed I wish I had more printers just to buy more of these continuous ink systems. This Ink System is now working fine on the first install. The problem is that I live in Denver which is 5280 feet above sea level. Before you ever complete step 2. d. "Hold down the ink tank with one hand and remove the original air plug as shown." BEFORE YOU EVER DO THAT!!! Gently remove the 'filling hole plug' (which is just across from the air plug) and then gently put the 'filling hole plug' back. This will stabalize the air pressure in the ink tank. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS AND THERE IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE THEN THE INK WILL EXPLODE ALL OVER YOUR WORK SURFACE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE AIR PLUG. My hands are covered in ink. I had to wipe everything down.

I made a purchase a while back and had other cartridges that I had to use first. I just open this 2 of these ink cart. c8727AN black ink and HP 28 color ink and both cartridges donot have ink in them. I am very disappointed. I feel that I am at a lost because I purchase them in 2012 and I am sure it is a wash that they will honor them now. My order number ID is 105-4481891-1359427.

These ink cartridges worked well for about 10 or so prints, but then my printer started to receive errors and I had to remove the color cartridge. The black cartridges still work, both of them, but the color does not, even though the ink level indicator says it's still full. I was pretty excited to find this site as ink cartridges are SO expensive, but now, even though I (so far) have still made a score on the black ink, I do have to purchase another color cartridge. Maybe you get what you pay for.

Canon inkjets are the second worse hogs of ink HP are out in front.

My canon died with the usual B200 error message. For two years, I used these cartridges and they were fine. They saved me the cost of a brand new printer, so in the cost / benefit coefficient, its cheaper to use these even IF they promoted to wear. Canon inks are that expensive, and for no discernible benefit on cost / benefit when viewed in cost / reliability perspectives.

Happily changed to a Brother, and it uses a fraction of the ink, in every way, that a Canon product does. And performs as well, or in some cases better (e.g. speed). My recommendation, tell Canon to shove their greedy profiteering up their ar5e.
