The great thing about these ink refills is that I can refill my ink cartridges 20 times for the cost of buying all the cartridges one time. It comes with easy instructions to follow and stands for the cartridges while you refill them. The only thing is that the chip isn't replaced so your computer still tells you the ink is low and if one color is lower than another, there is no way of knowing which one. I live on reviews, won't buy anything until I've read what everyone anywhere has to say, however..,.I am horrible on leaving one myself for others. The toner cartridges I bought supposedly fit my Brother MFC-6490CW printer, but in fact they did not. Their configuration is substantially different from the manufacturer's cartridge and the printer would not recognize nor use the ones I received from this company. Too bad.

I was skeptical about trying remanufactured toner cartridges because all I've ever heard from people who have their cartridges refilled at local pharmacies or the new chain of stores is that they have either exploded in their printer or run dry after a short period of time. Not only did these come quickly, but they worked perfectly the minute I installed them in my printer. I think the picture quality is better than the more expensive Lexmark brand. I'd highly recommend these to anyone.

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS TONER PALS!!! I ordered a color and black duo for my printer. They sent what they said were replacements, but they did not work. I corresponded with the company with eight emails attempting to get them to send me the correct one. The kept sending the same wrong ones, and telling me that they would work.

I purchase the Private Reserve Ink for use in a S.T. Dupont fountain pen. This pen is very expensive so I want to make sure I use quality ink. I have tried many different brands of ink and I find this ink to be the best value and also seems to flow the best when writing. I believe the Gray Flannel ink color is fairly new and is very nice. If you are tired of the various shades of black and blue inks then this color is a nice change. Comes out a fairly dark gray on most papers. I would purchase from this seller again as everything as far as product and delivery was as expected. I would highly recommend this brand of ink from this seller and Amazon.

I had trouble with one of the black C-225 (PGBK) cartridges When I installed it i eas not getting any black ink on th printout, I double checked the installation and it looked fine and still was not getting any black ink I replaced it with another cartridge an finnally was able to get black ink on a printout.

These work great. They do the job very well. In my printer, even when brand new, I get an error message warning me of low ink levels, but the error message is in error, so I just "OK" the message and the printing proceeds without any hitches. This message appears per job, not per page. The cartridges last a while and do a fine job. This is my 3rd set of them, so I do think they are a good value and I recommend them. I have not yet tried taking them to Staples or somewhere to have them refilled, but I intend to see how that goes. These are such a good value, I have not needed to do this yet.

I have an HP Officejet J4550. The replacement cartridge, by LD, worked fine from the start (no printer adjustments needed to get it to work). A nice adder: LD provides a postage-paid (plastic) envelope to mail in your used cartridge for recycle.

Just received cartridge. When I put it in the printer, the message said ink levels had been depleted on my HP cartridge but let me proceed with using the cartridge after doing the alignment page. The drum was fine but you need to reprogram the printer to use the unit. It looks like DELL included a code in the printer to prevent use of compatible drum units, so you order from DELL at tripple the cost of Amazon.com

Canon makes excellent ink and photo paper so this ink/paper combo is almost the best of two worlds, quality and economy. I've never had any negative issues with either Canon inks or photo paper so I have no negative comments about them. I made a costly error a number of years ago by using non-OEM ink to save a buck. Saving a buck on ink cost me a printer which gummed up and quit working due to poor quality ink. Lesson learned, stick with Canon OEM ink for your Canon printer.

Why did I say this combo was "almost" the best of two worlds? What you receive with this combo are CLI-221 tanks in cyan, magenta, & yellow and the PGI 220 black tank as well as 50 sheets of Canon glossy photo paper. You DO NOT get the CLI 221 black ink which is required for the MP-560 and some other Canon printers. I didn't read as thoroughly as I should have and thought I was getting all four CLI 221 tanks. My MP 560 requires both the pigment-based and dye-based black ink cartridges (pigment for text and dye for photo printing). As I said, it was totally my fault for not reading thoroughly but I do wonder how many others may have made the same mistake. It's an easy fix, just order a CLI 221 black tank.

Regardless of my error, it is still an excellent value for which you get Canon quality for ink and paper.

This review is an alert. If you want a complete set of cartidges, you have to buy with this COMBO an extra CLI-221 black cartidge.

I have to post a review because I feel differently than most about the combination of ink in this package. We have had our Canon printer for about 3 years; we run a small business and print mostly text documents, only occasional photos. It has quickly become apparent that the larger black ink tanks (pgi-220) get used up much faster than the small ones.(pgi-221) Even though I don't use the photo paper, I purposely buy this combo pack BECAUSE it has a 220 in it. I have bought the packages that include all 4 pgi-221 refills, and currently have amassed 4 of the small black inks because the printer just doesn't use them up! Pay attention to what you're ordering and you won't have a problem...

I don't want to waste more time doing this, but other potential customers should know. Four out of six of these "Compatible Inkjet Cartridges" did not work--at all--in my Epson Stylus Photo R220. After multiple attempts to use one, then the next, and so forth, I finally yielded and went to a local office supply store and bought a set of Epson ink cartridges. Not only did the cheapos from Amazon not work (cyan, light cyan, magenta and yellow...the black DID work...I didn't bother to try light magenta), I wasted nearly half the ink in the genuine Epson cartridges while trying to 'charge' ink from the aforementioned "compatible" cartridges. While my Epson is not old and worn out (actually, it prints quite nicely until an ink cartridge runs dry), I'm going to e-cycle it and get something I can live with. Until a few months ago I had a third-party source for ink for this printer (which worked great), but alas that company appears to have gone out of business. In general, I have had good luck with Amazon, so I tried two different replacement brands sold by Amazon. Both sets were both miserable ripoffs. I'm mad at Epson for producing such an ink hog. And I'm mad at Amazon for selling obviously useless replacements. In all cases, a real Epson cartridge ($$) worked and solved "the problem". But the cost per page is way too much with Epson ink. The Amazon ripoffs are a total waste of money. If you have troubles with the "compatibles" from Amazon, don't think it's your fault!

I have been purchasing generic ink for my printer for years and have mostly been happy, but these were not so good. I had a few cartridges that the printer wouldn't accept, others that leaked all over the place and few decent printouts. I threw them all out and bought a set from another seller and was much happier. I was thinking that my old printer might have to be replaced, but no, it was just these stinky inks.

I didn't want to take any chances buying another brand (or refilled non-brand). These ink cartridges are expensive, though, and just a few changes in your print settings can double the lifespan.

When on regular print settings, I noticed the paper was saturated in ink & the cartridge used up in no time. So, I changed the printing preferences to "grayscale" and "fast printing". This uses about half the ink and looks just fine to me. In fact, I prefer it because the printed copy comes out dry instead of wet with ink (that then needs to dry and could actually smudge).

Printing in grayscale also saves the other colored inks -especially when printing coupons or anything else that doesn't require high-quality printing. To further save on ink & avoid printing unnecessary stuff (like logos and advertising on various websites), you can change your print options to "print only the selected frame".

Lastly, when the printer tells you the ink cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced -just press the "ok" button on the printer and keep doing so it until your ink truly does run out. I was able to print out an additional 25 pages last time.

I have a Canon MP 620 printer which I think is a great device but it does tend to use a lot of ink (or maybe I just print a lot) so having the 3 pack makes it easy to be ready for when I need to.

What I've found works for me is to get the 3 pack of the PGI-220 and then the color ink (Canon 2946B004 CLI-221 4 Color Value Pack (Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow)) in the 4 pack and finally deal with any intermediate outages through an individual purchases.

This means I have replacements for all the ink as needed and never have to urgently get some.

I picked up a Canon MP620 as a new all-in-one for my printing needs at college. I prefer having paper in my hands to read assignments; it's easier to read than a computer screen and it gives me the ability to highlight important points. My Epson Stylus CX6000 wasn't getting the job done; the ink "ran out" too fast.

After printing about 350 pages or so in a month's worth of mostly black and white printing (yeah, it's a lot!), the Canon MP620 started to complain about running out of the PGI-220 ink. I rushed to buy this cartridge, fearing that I might run out of ink before it arrived. Well, it "ran out" soon after I got the cartridge. And... it's still printing just fine.

A great thing about the printer this ink cartridge runs on: you have the option to keep printing even after the cartridge's microchip estimates that the ink has run out. My old Epson printer did not give me that option, even though I knew ink was still left inside. 100 pages after "running out," the old cartridge is still running strong; I haven't even opened the replacement yet!

Long story short, you're definitely getting more out of your cartridge here than the microchip tells you. Just keep printing until it no longer prints! It's safe to say that you can get at least 500 pages out of this black cartridge, easy! The price you pay is nothing compared to the mileage you get out of this cartridge. Great value!

What can I say? Canon ink for a Canon printer? Of course this is a good idea. Some of the generic inks with this newest generation of printers measuring picoliters can clog up the print heads. This ink and the printers it's used in are some of the best Canon has produced. This cartridge seems to last longer than the previous printer I had that uses the CLI-8 ink. I am very pleased with the output quality of this ink.

And this is one of the best prices available for original Canon ink.

When my old, faithful Epson printer died, I did research and upgraded to the Canon Pixma MX 860. I needed a color printer, and wanted something better for my job (I teach part time at a community college, and hand out a fair volume of paper work.) The prints from this printer are fanastic, well beyond anything I've ever printed at home.

However, the printer consumes ink like oxygen. The puny cartridges that come with this printer are tiny and rather expensive. I ran out of black within 3 weeks-with very conservative printer use during those 3 weeks! I had difficulty finding the correct replacements-due to bad serial # marketing from Canon. Turns out Amazon has clones as well as the brand name, but I had to go to Canon's website to find out that the same cartdrige size is used for the Pixma mx 980, mx 860, mp 620, and several other models. Amazon carries the clones, which are not a lot cheaper. Frys and Costco also carry the genuine brand.

I love the printer, but have purchashed a Brother HL-2140 monocolor laser printer to make test copies, black and white prints, and general documentation of bill-pay, etc. The quality of these prints is not anywhere near as nice, but the cost per copy is fantastic.

I keep the Canon printer, and ink-use, for more important print outs, or color. I would rate the ink cartridges higher if they made more copies, the copies they do make are great.
