Good price, good performance. Usually generic ink causes ink blots and random ink streaks, with pictures printing with weird color shadowing and color blotches. This is just black ink so I can say that text prints well, albeit too light (more of a gray than black). We'll see how long it lasts and if the ink will actually be used completely before the printer says it's done (my biggest complaint about generic ink).

I have tried all of those refilled ink wells and none of them work the way it should in a Dell printer. Dell knows how to keep us from buying anything but Dell products. They do work great and you get beautiful prints whether it be documents or pictures. Excellent product, but way to expensive.

It may be 'Genuine' Dell, but after printing a few pages the printer says, "printer cartridge missing' and I have to pop it out and put it back in and wait for it to print the alignment sheet.

Tired of paying through the nose for ink cartridges for my little printer, I decided to try these out.

Quick shipping, arrived intact, and in the quantity I ordered.

They fit and seem to have no problems with installation.

They seem to run out very quickly though, compared to the ones I buy in Best Buy or Target.

One of them had a "blank line" for its entire life, but it only lasted for a dozen pages or so, so it was no big deal.

I probably will buy them again, but will ALSO buy one of the real ones from the store to print out "important" papers.

These are inexpensive and they work for the most part.

Sometimes I have some light streaking with the black carts, and they do seem to run out pretty fast. For some reason, if I use the draft mode setting for my bulk printouts the quality is just OK, not great. It will occasionally skip some lines or smudge here and there. If I use the standard or high quality setting printouts look fine. These are text heavy printouts, very little graphics. Note that the regular Canon carts look just fine on draft.

I printed some pictures with these on photo paper and they look "OK". The colors are kind of washed out. Don't buy these if you print a lot of photo quality pictures.

BUT, for as cheap as they were, for bulk printing they're ok. I would probably buy them again, but I would also buy a set of real ones to use for pictures, etc. On the other hand I don't know how long an ink cart will last once the seal has been broken.

One last thing... if I use Canon carts the printer will alert me when it thinks the ink is getting low... then I continue to print at my own risk. When I use these carts I have no idea when one is going to go out. I have been in the middle of a printout on expensive photo paper and the ink ran out without warning.

I did received these quickly. However, after only a few days my HP printer would no longer recognize the cartridge and there were no adjustments I could make in order for it to work. I now have the second one installed and is working so far. So even though I saved money, I will probably need to buy an orginal soon to have a backup in case this is no longer recognized by my printer.

Seems I get to do 2 reviews.. After I did my 1st review AMAZON gave me a 2nd review also. It sent me to a different sight then the one I purchased from. What I think is going on, is possibly the seller is operating 2 web sights under DIFFERENT NAMES. The confusion with the 1st sight was what I ordered, didn't match the picture or the size/weight described. (This was settled and explained by the very nice owner). Now I think its because there using pics from this web sight, ... not brand new pics. That is if this is their 2nd sight ...just an educated guess. .Any ways I will give this 2nd web sight the same rating as I did the first web sight.

Best Kodak PH-80 EasyShare Printer Dock Color Cartridge & Photo Paper Deals

After having read so many negative reviews about various kinds of "print-at-home" papers, I hesitated to invest in a system to print my photos myself. In large part, I worried that the paper made for these docks would not be of a quality that I could pass around at family gatherings and show off in frames. Thankfully, the Kodak EasyShare paper has relieved my fears. My photos come out crisp and clear and ready to be handled. There is no smudging when they are touched and the small accidental spill rolls right off them. Part of this quality, of course, is due to the ink and printing process used. But somehow I doubt that paper from another manufacturer would leave me singing its praises if I substitued it for the Kodak product.

Though other reviewers have said that the media cartridge runs out of ink before all of the paper is used, I have not had that experience. With each of my kits, I received a warning that the cartridge level was low by the time I got down to the last few sheets. I printed the next few pictures--using all of the paper--and was then told to replace the cartrige. The number of sheets and amount of ink are perfectly matched, as Kodak promises. I can't honestly think of any reason why people would run out of ink before paper unless they purchased defective kits. (Not that I have really given it much thought, either.)

Many people have also commented on the high price per print. For me, the convenience of printing at home at my leisure makes up for that because I print quite a few pictures. However, the thirty cents per print more than people pay going to the store with their digital media may well be a bit pricey for the average Joe or Jane. I do think the price should--and will--come down in time as the market adjusts.

For my time and money, however, I can't think of a better way to print pictures than sitting at home with a sheaf of Kodak paper in my EasyShare Printer Dock Plus.

I have been using a Kodak digital for several years but not the printer or paper. After visiting my parents and using their kodak printer dock with the PH160 media cartridge kit i purchased i was hooked and had to get me a printer dock. I see people saying that they ran out of ink before paper, that has not happened to me so far. Also, that it like .50 a picture which is true if you buy the smaller 40 or 80 pack. I went with the 160 and it averages to .23 a picture which is well worth the money and is equal to walmarts price and no driving to the store and waiting in line, just do it at home with all the conviences. Heck with these high gas prices ya probably spend some $$$ just to get there and back plus the hassle factor. The print quality is exceptional and kodak paper and ink quality is top of the line and my photos look just as good as store developed pics, imo. Get the ph160 and bring down your average price per pic and enjoy instant at home pics......

Many people are giving the Kodak PH-160, 80 or 40 photo paper a bad review not really understnding this technology.

First, the printer does not use ink. Therefore, it cannot run out of ink. It uses a heat/thermal transer process which uses 3 color plastic-like sheets + one clear (kind of lik sheets of Saran Wrap. Heat tranfers the appropriate colors, one at a time in the correct amounts to deliver all the colors of the spectrum (i.e. combining primary color). The 4th layer is clear and that covers the photo, making it waterproof. No inject printer can do that...they may be water resistant, not water proof.

So, my guess is when someone says they are running out of ink, they really mean that the indication on the Kodak EasyShare printer (I have the 500 model) is indicating low on cartridge or replace cartridge. What actually may be happneing is that the cartridge and software are out of sync. i.e. There is plenty of print capability left but the printer thinks it's almost out. There is a procedure in the EasyShare photo printer 500 which tells you how to "sync" it again. There documentation is very vague but Kodak customer service can explain it to you.

Even if you just let the erroneous message of "low cartridge" continue, you will still be able to print all of the paper that came in the kit (cartridge and paper). Unlike inkjet printers, it doesn't matter if you use alot of red or too much black. There is a measured "sheet" of each color for each piece of paper. You do not run out of colors. You do not run out of ink (no ink in the ususal sense).

You can get a jammed catridge (never happened to me). You can waste some of the cartidge if you manually take the slack out too often by hand (have not had to do this either other than initially putting the cartridge in).

In fact, I ran all paper in the pack and even noticed that Kodak has put some extra in. I actually pulled this extra from the cartidge and noticed that I had enough excess to print 4 more prints (used all the paper, though).

Note: I use the EasyShare photo printer 500. I am not sure if all of the other Easyshare printers use this same technology. I assume they do.

This is the best print you will get for the $ from home. Beautiful!! (and I'm picky).

It's so good that I will even put up with the sub-par software, slowness to move between pictures when viewing on the printer itself, and vague instructions. I ran a test in the store between the Epson (their small printer) and the Kodak 500. NO COMPARISON. The quality is far, far better on the Kodak. So much better that I don't mind the deficiencies stated above. In the end, what's most important is the quality of the print and it's durability. Slowness to switch between picutures when selecting not a problem if you do it from the PC instead of the printer itself. So, even if it's slow editing and selecting from the printer, you might only do this when on the road and don't have a PC handy. They (Kodak) has everyone else beat at this price. (Last...ever use a Kodak Self Service Kiosk for printing photos in a store. The printer technology on the 500 is the same as the printer in the Kiosk....Thermal transfer.

I give the paper and cartriges a 5 star rating. Less on the printer software but this review is on the paper, cartriges and the prints it delivers. That's the most important part unless you are printing hundreds of photos each week. If your doing that many, you probably should be spend more than a couple of hundred dollars on a bigger dye sublimation printer.

For the Kodak Printer Docks, you can get PH40 (40 prints), PH80 (80 prints) or now "super size" it with the PH160.

Be smart and calculate the price per print for any of the packages. I bought because the PH160 was, at time of purchase, priced such that the per print cost was slightly over half what the print cost was for either the PH40 or PH80 packages.

I REALLY LIKE THE CONVENENCE OF PRINTING MY OWN PHOTO'S WITH THE QUALITY OF THE PAPER I USE. THE PH160 MEDIA CARTRIDGE IS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE IS TO GET A LITTLE MORE PRINTING ABILITY WITH THE PACKAGE. THERE IS USUALLY SOME PAPER LEFT OVER AND YOU CAN'T PRINT ANYMORE. THE PRINTER STOPS IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE INK IS DONE EVEN WHEN THERE IS SOME PAPER LEFT. MAYBE THEY CAN WORK ON THAT PROBLEM. ALL AND ALL THE PRODUCT IS GREAT.

As everybody knows, the cost of ink cartridges takes all the fun out of using your printer and refilling them yourself is the most economical option. I've owned my share of printers and tried my share of refill kits but since I bought my first Ink Nova kit (about 4 printers ago) I haven't found any reason to try any other brand. I think the "made to be refilled" cartridges set this kit apart from the others. I'm not a chemist so I can't tell how the ink "formula" compares with the printer manufacturer's ink and anyone can sell syringes, but everything you need is included, the chip re-setters always work, the cartridges are easy to fill, don't spill, and hold the chips in place securely. The only other thing you could want is that they prepared themselves for first use (switched the chips) and refilled themselves when empty.

Canon makes excellent ink and photo paper so this ink/paper combo is almost the best of two worlds, quality and economy. I've never had any negative issues with either Canon inks or photo paper so I have no negative comments about them. I made a costly error a number of years ago by using non-OEM ink to save a buck. Saving a buck on ink cost me a printer which gummed up and quit working due to poor quality ink. Lesson learned, stick with Canon OEM ink for your Canon printer.

Why did I say this combo was "almost" the best of two worlds? What you receive with this combo are CLI-221 tanks in cyan, magenta, & yellow and the PGI 220 black tank as well as 50 sheets of Canon glossy photo paper. You DO NOT get the CLI 221 black ink which is required for the MP-560 and some other Canon printers. I didn't read as thoroughly as I should have and thought I was getting all four CLI 221 tanks. My MP 560 requires both the pigment-based and dye-based black ink cartridges (pigment for text and dye for photo printing). As I said, it was totally my fault for not reading thoroughly but I do wonder how many others may have made the same mistake. It's an easy fix, just order a CLI 221 black tank.

Regardless of my error, it is still an excellent value for which you get Canon quality for ink and paper.

This review is an alert. If you want a complete set of cartidges, you have to buy with this COMBO an extra CLI-221 black cartidge.

I have to post a review because I feel differently than most about the combination of ink in this package. We have had our Canon printer for about 3 years; we run a small business and print mostly text documents, only occasional photos. It has quickly become apparent that the larger black ink tanks (pgi-220) get used up much faster than the small ones.(pgi-221) Even though I don't use the photo paper, I purposely buy this combo pack BECAUSE it has a 220 in it. I have bought the packages that include all 4 pgi-221 refills, and currently have amassed 4 of the small black inks because the printer just doesn't use them up! Pay attention to what you're ordering and you won't have a problem...

I ordered 125 black cartridges that supposedly are Epson Workforce 520 compatible. A chip is required for each sub cartridge and two must be replaced at any one time. The package only had one chip. I wrote to EZink123 and asked for my second chip because the Workforce 520 requires replacement of two cartridges at a time. They wrote back and wanted $5 for the second chip. Their cartridges are NOT compatible without the chip and the sales package is not clear that chips must be purchased. It is a scam. I also noted that the company name EZink123 appears to go under the name EZdeal123. I would avoid any cartridges from companies with names similar to these.

As many of us have found, this company seems to have dooped us all. After trying 2 of their cartridges, I finally got one of them to work...for about 2 weeks. Then, ultimately, the cartridges ruined my printer. I purchased Epson ink cartridges and they still didn't work. I ran the head cleaning on the printer and the black ink still didn't work. The black ink was the only one I replaced with the seller's cartridges (that must be filled with the souls of dead babies). The cartridges ARE NOT compatible with the Epson NX420 (if they are, they only seem to work for a short while). When I contacted the seller, they quickly replaced the cartridges but what good are replaced cartridges when they won't work in the first place? When I contacted them again, they told me it was me that was doing something wrong. I asked them for a refund and they asked me to incur the cost to ship the cartridges back to them. I left a negative review and they also asked that I take it down (don't know where it is now which is also suspect). Customer service was laughable. Please, be aware of these unethical folks. They don't care if your printer breaks using their bogus cartridges, so long as they can get you to part with your money. Amazon should get them off the site...

It was a struggle to put 2 cartridges in my Epson Workforce 520. 1 cartridge just wouldn't 'set' into place and therefore wouldn't allow the ink cartridge door to close. After opening 3 of 4 of my new SCIS, I got 2 to fit in well enough for the door to close. After some not so nice noises coming from the printer it started to print an email. Every other line was missing. "Well they're new, I'll try again," I thought. The second copy was worse than the first and the third was completely missing everything in black. By the 5th copy of the one page email I was out of black ink. A complete waste of money and time.
