I don't think these cartridges can be beat considering the price. I have been using them for a couple of years on two different Canon printers and have had no problems. Can't recommend them highly enough. Better than 5 stars.

I am extremely pleased with the price and performance of the inks. They make everyday color printing affordable on my Canon 830 printer. Archival quality, I don't know, don't care. There was a problem with the listing of 18 tanks in the description and shown in the picture, but a title of 15 tanks. I received the 15 tanks, 3 not a useable size for my printer and of a type not in the description. I emailed customer service, and had a reply and apology in less than 3 hours on a weekend. I promptly was shipped the missing tanks. I have at this early date only replaced 4 of my existing 6 Canon tanks with these and have results I cannot distinguish from much more expensive tanks. Hopefully they will "update" the description, but it all worked out for me.

Bought these a while back and am unimpressed. The black cartridges have worked fine, but the color not so much at all. I've purged the lines and everything and still no luck. The printer reports that the ink cartridges are full, but no matter what I do, I get nothing.

Bought this to refill a Lexmark Z33. #1 I couldn't drill a hole into the cartridge with the little hand drill they give you: use a power drill. #2 Be patient. Just keep following the directions: soak the cartridge head in water as instructed if you have to: It may take a while to get the cartridge going again but it finally worked for me.

This item works as advertised. I'm using it on a canon printer. Don't let the inker get too low or the (low ink window) will keep popping up every time you print something. It is a little messy. While filling the cartridge from above the inker will leak from the bottom a little. It's not a big deal, just something to be aware of. I should get about 6 or 7 refills out of this. Now printing is fairly cheap.

An incredible amount of fluid for such a small amount of money! Easy to use.

One thing, be very careful that your ink cartridge will 'allow' you to use refilled ink. Lexmark really rips off people with there specially licensed cartridges that somehow register the cartridge in the printer and know if it is dead. The industry is like that, so research before you get frustrated!

Love that I found these for so much cheaper than buying from HP. I read in other reviews that you have to keep them standing before putting them in so I did so, so there was no leaking at all that other reviews spoke of. At first, the printer read that there was a problem with the ink and I couldn't print or anything because of that. I simply took out ink until printer told me to reinstall ink. After I put them back in it worked fine. Printed beautifully. Never buying full priced ink again!

This is the third boxed set of CANON PG-240XL (black and white)/CL-241XL (color) cartridges I've purchased, and I've never had a problem with these at all. They've installed easily and performed as described. I guess these XL cartridges are a better deal than non-XL cartridges, but, frankly, I can't FIND non-XL cartridges of this type! These specifically yield about 700 pages per set depending upon what you actually print. My current costs for printing runs about 7 cents per page with this ink (and paper) as of June 2012 prices.

I use these on a Canon PIXMA MX432 Wireless Color Photo Printer with plain, white photocopier paper to print documents and occasional coupons. I've popped in some Canon 8 x 10 Semi-Gloss Photo Paper and printed out a few photos and they come out "pretty good." If you're not an image snob, the quality on the photo paper is pretty good. But, it is not professional grade and it doesn't pretend to be so. Photo paper can be pricy, so your per-page costs will increase. Add about 50 cents per 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of photo paper for each page (i.e., rule of thumb page cost would be about 60 cents).

You can't get around the high cost of ink-jet cartridges. My all-in-one PIXMA MX432 printer costs about the same as buying two boxes of these black/color cartridge sets but that's just the way of the ink-jet world. There are no cheap ink-jet cartridges and the pricing here is within normal ranges. If you find a good deal and want to buy several boxes, you should understand that these are rated with a shelf life of about two years so long as you keep them in the package.

No complaints, but I give it 4 out of 5 stars because (according to Amazon's star rating system) I can't say I "love" these ink cartridges. But I like them pretty much in a platonic sort of way. Buy'em if you need'em.

One thing I noticed and would like to let everyone know that. I have low ink or replace ink sign for about 4 months... I have purchased this ink so I do have new one in hand but I keep using the older ink which giving me the warning. I feel that canon machine throw and error message much prior to the actual life of ink is over. Use your own judgment to use your printer longer even after the warning, you may save few bucks....

I received this product the beginning of Feb 2010. After checking out the current price of Epson black 2-pack ink cartridges at Staples for $40.00 I decided to try these remanufactured ones that only cost $9.65 + $2.49 shipping, which is about 75% cheaper than original cartridges. Even if the quality printing wasn't perfect I figured it's worth a try. My order arrived in only 3 days after placing my order! I was concerned when I first tried printing a page with just black print and some letters were not printing well. After running the Epson print head cleaner a few times everything has been printing perfectly. I'm giving this product 5 stars for quality, great price, and shipping speed! I considered giving it 4 stars because of the head cleaning, but I've had this same issue even with brand new Epson cartridges. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SELLER!

I have been refilling cartridges for many years. The worst part is dealing with your wife after dropping a cartridge on the floor. This :Hansol ink is a product from South Korea. That is really not bad news. The factory produces a very large volume of product that is shipped worldwide. As a necessity, the quality of the ink is very good. If you do get an ink clog at some point for whatever reason, just have a set of empty cartridges handy. The sets for $14 are fine. Just partially fill them with head cleaning solution. (you can make it yourself), and run the printer through some cleaning cycles. The ink starts out as a paste, but breaks down easily. The Canon heads are the easiest to clean as all you have to do is set the removable print head in a 12 oz glass of warm water overnight and watch all the old ink come out. You need to dry the print head with a hair dryer after, otherwise the printer will show an error. Too bad Canon printers don't print CDs.

I would rate this ink superior to the Chinese brands found elsewhere. The finest ink comes from Germany. Some sellers will claim to have German ink. Don't believe everything you are told. The stuff is very expensive, and only available at a very few vendors.

Dear HP consumer, today is your lucky day! Chances are that if you're reading these words, you have a Hewlett-Packard printer that takes 74 and 75 cartridges. I've gone through dozens of these cartridges and they've always worked very well. They're supposed to use something called Vivera technology, but I don't notice a difference in quality when compared with the pre-Vivera cartridges used by my previous HP printer. The key here is to get the XL cartridges instead of the regular versions. Many people are surprised to find out that their regular cartridges are only half full. What's the real difference? Using HP specs, the regular 74 prints around 200 pages and the 74XL prints 750 pages. The 75 prints 170 pages while the 75XL prints 520 pages. Naturally these are estimates since many pages have a combination of color and black ink, but it's a useful estimate that shows that the XLs are a better value. Keep in mind that while the XLs have well over double the ink, they don't cost twice as much. If that wasn't enough, the combo pack should save a few more dollars. When one cartridge starts to get low in my printer, the other is never far behind, so XL combo packs are the way to go. Depending on the store, prices seem to vary greatly with printer cartridges. Thinking that I was getting a deal, I had always purchased my combo packs through Costco for $65.77. They stopped carrying the combo pack and I found it here at good ol' Amazon for only $46.99. That's quite a savings!

Item shown on Amazon site is MISLEADING. Specifically it DOES NOT come in retail packaging. The cartridges are shipped loose of the ones I received one was marked "Made in Ireland" and the other "Made in Malaysia". Apparently these are bulk cartridges that are resold to retail customers. There is no indication of manufacturing date, lot etc. nothing that you can use to follow up with HP if the cartridges do not work.

You get what you pay for. In this case, had I known that I was getting repackaged bulk items, I may have shopped elsewhere.

Bottom line MISLEADING product page.

I agree with 2 out of 3 of the first 3 reviews. I don't mind paying a little extra for an ink cartridge if it does a great job for me and it does. The XL packs go a very long way. I haven't done the statistics on page counts, but I know that I buy 3 regular cartridges to 1 XL cartridge.

I love the job that my HP AIO does and I really love these XL cartridges, especially when Amazon has them at great prices. Amazon does it again! Thanks....

At first, everything worked fine. After a few weeks, a message saying "cartridge error" appeared and it hasn't worked anymore.

Peace of mid is more important than saving a few bucks. Can you imagine that happening while printing something important late at night and not being able to get a replacement right away?

I used these in my HP C3180 printer with no trouble. The ink runs out a little quicker, but the HP brand cartridges cost more than TWICE what these cost, so I don't have a problem with that.

The only issue that I've noticed is that the printer will not inform you when the ink is low in these cartridges, so it's best to keep an eye on your documents as they print and always keep an extra cartridge handy.

OK, so far I have only done one refill still working fine after a month. I used the drill that came with it, but in my opinion it is to small as the needle will plug the hole causing seepage out the other end. I ended up using my own drill bit with cordless drill. WARNING work on paper bags with some paper towels and toss-able gloves probably outside in case you spill. I washed out the syringes right away with cold water and they will be reusable. I did goof and left the bottles on my desk for a week, while I was making room for them in a drawer I knocked over the cyan bottle..what a mess. Luckily I work in the basement as I do video and sound so only I am ticked at my clumsiness. Since they are water based I managed to clean up 95% of the mess, but my hands turned red for a week. Anyway if you are careful this is a much cheaper way to refill and it does work. My printer does not allow resetting of fill level easily so I always get a low ink message...but ehh its fine by me. Oh it look on my canon ip2600 that I should be able to refill at least 5 times with the amount in the bottle. Last I looked buying the ink from store was around $35 for all cartridges (bought printer for $28 lol). The refill definitely makes it worth the effort and if my machine breaks well I'll just buy another cheap canon.
