I don't think these cartridges can be beat considering the price. I have been using them for a couple of years on two different Canon printers and have had no problems. Can't recommend them highly enough. Better than 5 stars.

I have had no issues with this product. I installed it in the printer and it was automatically recognized. Print quality is good and I have found no issues thus far. I cannot confirm how amny pages it willl print, but I see no reson that it wont provide the same as a new HP cartridge. For the price I am very happy.

I was pleased with the purchase transaction and the speed of delivery. The cartridge was the correct one and fit my printer. However, it prints a little light. For word processor documents, I set it to print bold and it is fine, but without that, it comes out just a little lighter than I would like.

This was a great toner cart and worked well right out of the box. The one problem I did run in to was a plastic part that sticks off of the top arrived broken off. I was able to tape a paper clip in place to trigger the catch that it normally would trigger inside the printer so it could be recognized by the machine. Great quality. I haven't had it for too long so I can't speak to the longevity yet.

This product worked fine for me. The ink is normal black; maybe the previous reviewer changed somehow his/her printer settings to get the gray looking ink. I ordered two more cartridges that were delivered very fast. The first cartridge I ordered lasted for about 5 months, and I have to say we print a lot at our house :-)

I was trying to save money. I think printer cartridges are too expensive. So, I bought the cheap imitation version for my Dell printer. The ink is a mid gray shade of black. Not a typical black print. It works fine, but I will pay full price next time.

I am very unhappy. Black worked just fine then when the color cartridge needed to be installed, black could no longer be recognized by the unit. Then inside the packaging box, there is a small instruction sheet stating that if the cartridge cannot be recognized, we are supposed to remove a carbon spot somewhere couldn't tell where whether it was on the cartridge or the printer. Course, I was not removing anything from my printer. Just crazy. So my plan is to go get the Kodak brand so much for saving money to see if a Kodak color cartridge will allow me to continue using the black cartridges in the package. If that doesn't work, I'm contacting Amazon to get a refund.

I used my first of these cartridges yesterday. The first black one I tried had to be thrown away a waste of money. The small pad on the cartridge was up so high that it wouldn't make contact with the paper. The second one I opened was better, but not of the quality I am used to with other brands.

Updated: I originally posted this as a 4-star review, as you can read below. However, the new cartridge I received did not work. I tried to follow-up with them, but for the first time I received no responses. My assumption is that they've had some issues that they're trying to work through and will get back to me, but since it's been more than a week without response (and without a printer), I can't leave this review as is.

So I bought these a while ago in preparation for running out, as I knew it would happen eventually. When the cartridges arrived, one was missing the required chip. Quick contact with the seller and a new chip was sent, no questions or issues.

Later, when I replaced the K (black) cartridge, it wasn't working correctly. The toner was not coming out appropriately, streaking the output. The more it was used, the worse it got. I could take out the cartridge and shake it to make it work better for a page or two, but it quickly degraded. I contacted the seller and they sent a new cartridge, no issues.

Highly recommend them, if only for the level of support they are providing!

I don't print photos or anything of that nature so I can't address how this ink will work in that situation. I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of my printouts using this "knock off" ink. What a way to save A LOT of money. Shipping was extremely fast, and the price is right.

I have a HP OfficeJet K80xi all in one printer/copier/fax/scanner. The cartridge is defiantly not as good as HP's but for me the ink is ok. Its definitely not high quality or premium. The price is great though and shipping is ok (delivered towards the end of the delivery window but on time). I would not use this cartridge for graphics. I would just use it for simple text and printing for school work. I am not even sure it would do for my job b/c I would not send a document printed with that ink to my high profile clients even if its just text. Usually the documents are not just text, they usually have graphs and visio graphics/charts and our company logo.

But for me printing text or just printing things to read for my purpose its fine and it works. My printer had no problems using the cartridge. I aligned the cartridge twice and put the print quality on the BEST/Highest resolution but it doesn't help any. I put it on draft/low quality printing and it help a little and had less blurring. For some reason the cartridge puts to much ink on the page or puts it on the page slower than the printer moves causing the little lines outside of the text. I've added pictures of a notepad printout, my printer, and of how the cartridges look. I bought two cartridges and they are labeled differently so maybe they have two different manufactures for the same type of cartridge. I don't know if one is better than the other but the one I am using now is not that great. I am not amazed but it is functional and I'm ok with that.

Summary:

Good:

1) It does work with the HP OfficeJet K80xi all in one printer

2) Price is very cheap even after shipping

3) It does work with most custom print settings such as the draft and low ink settings with the printer

Cons:

1) The lines are not crisp/sharp

2) The alignment does not work no matter how many times you align it

3) The ink flow may be too slow for the printer's speed

I only recently started to use this ink (both color and black) with my Dell all-in-one printer. The alignment paper came out almost exactly the same as with the original Dell cartridge, there were only very minor color differences in the blue. As it is stated on the packaging the printer sends a warning message that the cartridges are empty,but I just ignored it as instructed, and it prints fine. I'll bet this cartridge will even last longer than Dell's ridiculusly priced $30+ ink cartridges.

So far I'm very happy with this purchase, the photos I printed came out nice.

I have purchased both the Brother branded cartridges and the Blake Printing Supply version; in my experience the Blake version is comparible if not better in terms of toner quality and page yield; for half the price. Based on the page count, I ended up with an average of 736 more pages printed with the Blake toner cartridge. I haven't checked the print quality under a microscope, but visually they look identical. I'm using MFC-8890DW printers, I am very satisfied with the product.

I do a lot of printing every week. I print up tp five reams a week. So I need to use a high yield cartridge. This particular cartridge I had to stop using about a 1/3 of the way into it. The pages became streaky with lines on the page, from that it went to a dark coating over the paper. I print legal documents so this does not work. What a waste. I typically buy one brother high yield toner and an off brand toner for my HL-5300DW to keep cost down but still maintain quality. I will not be purchasing this brand again.

As soon as I put it in, the printer (a Brother MFC-8890DW) read "Toner Low." That same day, after less than 100 copies, it changed to "Replace Cartridge" and refused to print further. It appears to have plenty of toner in it and the pages that printed were fine, so I tried the usual things to reset the printer (unplug printer, removed/replaced cartridge, even tried a spare drum) but it didn't help. My guess is they failed to properly reset or replace the flag gear used on these cartridges. There was no information included on how to contact the manufacturer for a replacement, so I just returned the whole thing.

This is supposed to get 8,000 page yield and in the past with Brother brand toner cartridges I have gotten very close to that. With this one I think I maybe got 2,000 pages. The seller was great. I got the cartridges very quickly. I purchased some for a printer a while back and they worked great. These were for my fax machine, and the print quality isn't very good. There are lines through the print, so I'm guessing the print head might be damaged. It works OK for a fax, but I definitely would have returned them if they had been for my printer and print quality was an issue.

We've had trouble in the past with generic print cartridges not being recognized by our HP Office Jet. We have an older Office Jet 5610v All in one.
