this is a great product so far. the price is a bit steep but what is gonna save in the long run is worth it. If they fit your printer the cartridges and first ink supply is a bit of a first investment, bot not near as much as 1 full set of factory refill cartridges.

I've had my share of printers over the years, and from various manufacturers as well.

We opted to go with the Lexmark x4690 because of it's wireless capabilities, and are pretty happy with its printing quality over all. The ability to have the printer on our home network, and accessible from any computer on the network is great.

However, with this unit taking such a specialized and pricey cartridge set, it's turned out to be a pretty expensive unit for ink. Granted, all inkjets are pricey when dealing with the ink cartridges... but this one has proven thus far, in my opinion, to be more so.

We don't do a huge amount of printing, but do use it several times a week for various two to three page docs. Nothing too crazy. But instead of running out of ink, we found that the black cartridge actually dried up, and we lost the use of the last half of the cartridge.

That was a first for me. Never had ink dry out on me like that. I was less than pleased.

We still feel the printer is worth while... but given the option to do it over again I'd be going with one of those sweet wireless routers with a USB port that allowed ANY printer to be found on a home network, and would opt for the printer with the best combination of quality and economy of ink.

The last two shipments of Lexmark #4 & #5 Black/Color Combo Pack. The quality of the ink is poor (watery) and comes out light view. I have return one set because my printer shows Unsupported cartrigge, Cartridge is not compatible with my printer. The quality is watery and comes out light. I will stopped buying from you. I had a hard time finding a twin pack #4 & #5 lexmark ink cartridge. Found it here for under $50 with free shipping. Still expensive because it doesn't last very long. But I couldn't find it anywhere else cheaper & it didn't hurt that amazon makes it so easy to order.

I,ve been frustrated with ink cartridges for my Epson NX305, too expensive, don't last long, can't refill because of the electronic coding. I decided to try these PrintPayLess cartridges. Cool they work! I had clean out the black ink receptacle (on the printer) with some rubbing alcohol before the black ink worked, but now it does. The quality is good for the price! And I like that the cartridges are clear enough to see how full the ink is.

My Epson Workforce 610 printer was not working. It was not detecting certain ink cartridges and the others were printing lines in them.

I tried dropping cleaning solution on the print head which didn't seem to work. So I thought I'd buy re-fillable cartridges, empty them and then fill them with cleaning solution and run a head cleaning. Then after the cleaning I'd fill them with ink and use them for printing.

When I put the cartridges in to use the ink up, I was stunned at how the printer responded to them immediately. It printed perfectly (well as good as an inkjet will). They come with an always-full chip, which I think makes all the difference. So I am pleased with this product. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is that I've tried to refill the cartridges and haven't figured out a good way to do it without making a mess. I'm sure I'll get it, though.

I purchased this Dynamic Sublimation Ink a while ago, and wanted to test it a bit before reviewing it. I am very pleased with the performance and quality of this ink. I think that the most impressive part is that I haven't had to clean the print heads since I changed out the other ink to this new sublimation ink. One of the selling points of the Bowl of Cherries Dynamic Sublimation Ink is that it will not plug the heads. So far, that is an accurate statement. I didn't have any print jobs for approx. 3-4 weeks, and when I started a print job after the printer sitting idle for that length of time, I was pleasantly pleased that it printed perfect. I am using an Epson Workforce 30, and have not had any print head plugging problems since I started using this ink.

Best DELL COMP INK 7 SERIES HC BK Deals

I only recently started to use this ink (both color and black) with my Dell all-in-one printer. The alignment paper came out almost exactly the same as with the original Dell cartridge, there were only very minor color differences in the blue. As it is stated on the packaging the printer sends a warning message that the cartridges are empty,but I just ignored it as instructed, and it prints fine. I'll bet this cartridge will even last longer than Dell's ridiculusly priced $30+ ink cartridges.

So far I'm very happy with this purchase, the photos I printed came out nice.

i would've given it 4 stars cus it comes with two pieces of plastic that are not explained. I don't know what their purpose is, nor is it mentioned or depicted in the manual. But the item itself works, it's a decent price, and doesn't have terribly much of a need to be high quality.

unfortunately, the inks I reset actually didn't have any ink left, and somehow, force refilling them didn't work either.

I went on to buy actual refillable cartridges, which had autoreset chips anyway. ah well.

I haven't tried the LD inks, but they are getting reviewed poorly. I HAVE, however, been using the Media Sciences inks for the past year and haven't had any issues. I am also getting (from what I can tell) the same color. My only complaint may be that these sticks are very slightly smaller than the official Xerox ink blocks.

A couple of points I can make:

1. In 2006 Xerox sued Media Sciences for patent infringement. 4 counts. One of those being the shape. So, (a) if you're complaining about the shape being different there is a legal reason for that; (b) Xerox in its suit has admitted that the M.S. formula is either the same as theirs or so similar that they sued for infringement. That's good enough for me.

2. I bought my phaser from a local dealer and had a long conversation with him about these inks and if he sees issues in his on-site calls with using them. He explained to me that in two years he had experienced 2 situations where he felt that the Media Science ink "could have" clogged a jet head. When these two ink users contacted Media Sciences and showed their documentation that the tech believed the ink "may" have led to a clogged head Media Science paid for all expenses for repair.

3. After one year of using M.S. ink I've saved enough to buy another Phaser if this one gets corrupted.

4. I have not tested my ink on a duplexing Phaser.

UPDATE: It has been 7 months since my last review and I would like to report that I am still not having issues. I DID have one cyan jet head act up about 4 months ago giving me a "light" print in that column of the page but by running the Xerox printer's cleaning function on that specific jet it was resolved easily. Interestingly enough, in the 6 months that I was using Xerox ink (when I first purchased the printer) that happened twice. So I'm not sure if it's ink related or just part of the printer maintenance.

Had a little trouble installing so the lid would shut easily but got it working after 15 min. I had to cut away a small piece of plastic under the lid which looks like it was put there intentionally to make these systems difficult to install. Once that was removed it worked perfectly. I've printed over 100 photos since I bought it and no problems at all. Great value and good quality for the money.

I have had a negative experience with this ink cartridge purchase. When I received the ink, after opening it black ink spilled everywhere, my khaki pants included--which were ruined. And since then I have had trouble printing. My printer prints fine but the images are not good quality.
