On the web page it says that I am buying a new ink cartridge, which it is new. The problem is that this was sitting on the shelf since 2009. it has an expiration date of 2009/05/16. it says no where on the page that this is out of date, but on the packing slip in the package, it has a highlighted sentence "Out of date, Guaranteed to work or money back." Well it didn't work, and now I am sending this back and I'm now irritated. When i put the cartridge in it recognizes that there is a cartridge in the slot but it gives a X through where the ink indicator is. The printer thinks that it is empty when you can hear the swishing around in the cartridge. I do not recommend purchasing this product. I had this same issue with black ink that i purchased, I bought two cartridges and both of them had expired ink. If your package comes in just the inner foil wrapping and not in the box that it is shown in the picture, then you are going to probably have problems. That is another thing, the picture shows a card board box around, like the one you would see in stores, but it just came in the inner foil and bubble wrapped, that is a little fishy to me. If you want to waste your time, have to ship the package back, wait for your money back, and still be in the predicament as before you purchased this, then by all means please buy this product. I gave this product 1 star because that is the lowest rating i could give it, if i could select 0 stars, I would! I hope that this review has saved you time, frustration, and your money.

So far, so good on replacing the expensive cartridges you'd need for HP Officejet J4680. Ink is where HP makes their money, and good quality replacement ink is where I make out, not them.

The best thing about these ink cartridges is that each one includes new printing heads. I've owned many Epson printers before and always had trouble keeping the heads in alignment and keeping them clean. Wasted a lot of ink and paper in adjusting those printers. I have always tried to save printing costs, and I like the CISS concept. But for the Canon MP560 the installation is very difficult. Only attempt if you are persistent and innovative, and don't mind cutting out some unnecessary plastic from your printer (under the cover, on left). My MP560 prints just fine now with the CISS installed (for a couple of weeks; a couple hundred copies), but it is noisier, emitting a "bump" sound with each pass of the carriage.

I think the MP560 is a great printer, but with my next printer purchase I will look for a model which works better with CISS.

UPDATE: Not long after writing the above, the ribbon cable and tubes started tangling, and the carriage running over the tubes. I decided the problem was that the tubes' movement was restricted too much by the closed cover. So I opened the cover and shoved the pointy end of a plastic pen cap into the switch toward the back on the right which makes the printer think the cover is closed. With the cover open, the printer prints great, no more bump sound, and no more tangling of tubes and wires.

Next printer I buy will be one with stationary ink cartridges (with tubes running to the print heads on the carriage), which will greatly facilitate a CISS system.

Just to be clear I bought this in March, now it's August and I'm just now installing Canon CISS after running through several cartridges I had. I had a couple of issues as I tried to install and was just sure after 5 months the vendor won't CARE about helping me! Boy, was I surprisingly wrong! Emails were answered within a day and some additional parts and pieces I asked for were sent to me RIGHT AWAY. You want to find some ink, cartridges and CISS that might be a few dollars cheaper you most likely can find it. You want to make sure you buy from a vendor who actually GIVES customer service PRINT FOR LESS really DOES !!!It has been a pleasure doing business with them and they now have another life long customer. It's a simple business equation to be successful: give me good products, at good prices and when I need it, give me some service = happy customer.

Update on the purchase of this product.

First of all I want to say the customer service of PrintPayLess... ROCK!

There was a mix up of the product so I requested for a replacement.

It did take some time because they were in the midst of relocating their office.

For my "troubles" they've gave me a FREE bottle of the Black ink.

I didn't ask for but they gave it to me anyway.

And the product works extremely well.... FYI... just wear gloves when dealing with the ink! I has taken 2 weeks to get all of the ink off my hands....!!

Any hoot....the product rocks and customer service rules!

I'd definitely buy again.

I tried but couldn't make this fit my Canon MP560 printer. The cartridges weren't in the correct order for my printer, so had to rearrange them. The tubes to the cartridges wouldn't lay flat and I could not get the printer to slide without hanging up in the tubes. I finally removed the cartridges and refilled them because it cancelled the blinking light when the printer senses the cartridge is empty. After a while the printer refuses to print if it thinks the cartridge is empty. The cartridges are smaller in height and have to be filled frequently. I use the piano book ink to refill the cartridges, so the expense isn't a total loss. The continuous ink is a good idea, but didn't work on my printer. Also, there were a lot of air bubbles in the tubes, and I wasn't able to get them out of the tubes before I tried to install the cartridges.

This was the great value for my Canon MP640 printer. Took some effort to install the system to the printer I had to cut small piece of the plastic that was in the way of the printer head. I had already purchased the refill inks from them and they even give me additional black ink battle for free.

Very good value compares to the regular OEM ink carts and very easy to refill them I bought this system last year Nov 2011 and still going strong.

Since I do a lot of printing for my business, a combo pack is usually my best choice. These cartridges came in HP packaging, so the seller had no way of knowing, but the Cyan cartridge was defective and did not snap into place easily, as they usually do. I finally got it seated in properly, but feel that the seller should contact HP and inform them of the problem.

These cartridges are not cheap, and my HP printer gets 'bent out of shape'if I try to use anything other than genuine HP cartridges,(flashes an error message) so if HP is going to insist that I buy only their cartridges, than they need to check them to be sure that they work before selling them to suppliers.

Unless one reads the description very carefully, one may believe that the ink cartridges are all the extra capacity type which they are not. Only the black cartridge is the "XL" or extra capacity variety.

Nothing spectacular, its just printer ink. It is what you think it would be. The black does last longer than the regular 564 ink cartridge. I would buy this again as a package deal. I do a lot of printing projects so I go through a lot of ink. I bought this since Walmart would not ship to an APO AE address and some of the others were more expensive.

The cartages work well in my printer and print as well as the lexmark inks do in my opinion, However they are not as sturdy as Lexmark catrages one of the blue cartrages had exploded or leaked some where in transit when i received the package it looked alright from the outside so I put it down onto my white rug to get the scissors to open the package, needles to say in the mean time the ink has leaked from the inside box onto the outside box and in turn onto the rug in the apartment that I RENT! I am also pretty blue from the clean up efforts.

Needless to say in the end this product is going to end up costing me a great deal more then it would have cost me to just spend the extra few dollars and get the real stuff......

I was very disappointed when I received my ink cartridge since it was defective. I wanted to return it but it would cost me nearly as much to ship it back as it cost=$ 8.88. I decided to contact a cusotmer service rep and they were able to ok a refund once I complained. But if I hadnt complained and contacted a service rep, which 90% of people would not have done, then I would have just had to accept it and be out $ 8.88. I dont like their refund policy which states if you have a defective cartridge then you have to pay for shipping which is ridiculous when they are the ones responsible.The company knows that if you have to pay the shipping cost that will eliminate 90% of the complaints and return costs that they would have to pay. I will never use this cartridge replacement company again despite them refunding my money.

The product works perfectly with my HP printer. I carefully noted my printer's model number and the model of the cartridge I had previously to make sure it would work. I double checked that with Amazon's tool to be absolutely sure this was the right cartridge. The cartridge is the exact size and shape of my current HP 56 cartridge, but of course has a different label. It is in every way indistinguishable from the original other than the label. This is a great product for the price. I just started using it. Not sure how long it will last, but since it only costs 1/5 as much as a new HP cartridge, if it only lasts 1/5 as long as the last one I will still be satisfied.

I'm very disappointed in the order from BetaInk. First they claim to be "Genuine Dell Brand black ink T0529 for Dell printer" cartridges. I missed however the rather fine print that these are remanufactured not new; for the charged price I can get my own cartridges refilled at Costco for about half the cost. On careful rereading you can find a cryptic "2npack Reman. Dell black ink T0529" buried in the description. Also when you get the package you can see they've attempted to make you think it's come from Dell as the cartridge comes in a foil wrapper that says "Dell". I would think Dell could go after them for counterfeiting. At least the other companies clearly state "Remanufactured" in their titles. Secondly, the photo and description both indicate the order is for two cartridges; however I only got one. I'd suggest sticking with the horribly overpriced real item direct from Dell; at least there you're getting a quality product.

I haven't tried the LD inks, but they are getting reviewed poorly. I HAVE, however, been using the Media Sciences inks for the past year and haven't had any issues. I am also getting (from what I can tell) the same color. My only complaint may be that these sticks are very slightly smaller than the official Xerox ink blocks.

A couple of points I can make:

1. In 2006 Xerox sued Media Sciences for patent infringement. 4 counts. One of those being the shape. So, (a) if you're complaining about the shape being different there is a legal reason for that; (b) Xerox in its suit has admitted that the M.S. formula is either the same as theirs or so similar that they sued for infringement. That's good enough for me.

2. I bought my phaser from a local dealer and had a long conversation with him about these inks and if he sees issues in his on-site calls with using them. He explained to me that in two years he had experienced 2 situations where he felt that the Media Science ink "could have" clogged a jet head. When these two ink users contacted Media Sciences and showed their documentation that the tech believed the ink "may" have led to a clogged head Media Science paid for all expenses for repair.

3. After one year of using M.S. ink I've saved enough to buy another Phaser if this one gets corrupted.

4. I have not tested my ink on a duplexing Phaser.

UPDATE: It has been 7 months since my last review and I would like to report that I am still not having issues. I DID have one cyan jet head act up about 4 months ago giving me a "light" print in that column of the page but by running the Xerox printer's cleaning function on that specific jet it was resolved easily. Interestingly enough, in the 6 months that I was using Xerox ink (when I first purchased the printer) that happened twice. So I'm not sure if it's ink related or just part of the printer maintenance.

It was amazing after further research via the internet, outside Amazon, other who have trouble with this product. Always with the Two black cartridge. Contacting customer service is just a repeat of how to get the cartridge not to read "empty". But the issue is the cartridge. Cartridge is not recognized as valid. It a gamble if it will work based on your canon Printer model. I wasted money on buying twice just to get an email stating my next order will be 100% correct. Like taking my car back twice to hear it will be right the next time. No returns/credit/replacement for me. Can not blame Amazon. Took a chance and did not research better.

The reset chips don't work. Cartridges aren't recognized by the printer or they just won't print at all. And the sponge in the cartridge is so hard and non-absorbent you really can't fill up some cartridges all the way.

These came prefilled with ink, I topped off the black ink and put it into the printer. The instructions said to run the clean cycle, but I just went ahead and started printing. Everything works great, no streaking whatsoever. Printing text looks beautiful.

the chips worked with the printer just fine

and its printing normally

(nice surprise is the came already filled).

--UPDATE ---

the cartridges will only reset when the printer says the ink is depleted and you remove and replace the catridge

when i refilled the black catridge i encountered some printer head blockages on the black ... apperntly the ink it shipped with reacted with the ink i refilled with was rectified by flushing the catrige clean and soaking my printer head ....

other than that these work well and are easy to use make sure and keep the orange shipping caps to use during refills.
