It was amazing after further research via the internet, outside Amazon, other who have trouble with this product. Always with the Two black cartridge. Contacting customer service is just a repeat of how to get the cartridge not to read "empty". But the issue is the cartridge. Cartridge is not recognized as valid. It a gamble if it will work based on your canon Printer model. I wasted money on buying twice just to get an email stating my next order will be 100% correct. Like taking my car back twice to hear it will be right the next time. No returns/credit/replacement for me. Can not blame Amazon. Took a chance and did not research better.

The reset chips don't work. Cartridges aren't recognized by the printer or they just won't print at all. And the sponge in the cartridge is so hard and non-absorbent you really can't fill up some cartridges all the way.

The chips on these cartridges are not resetting on their own, which is ok since I have a chip resetter (you have do change the chips).

The CLI Black ink is leaking into my pages when I print a picture. the bottom seems to be loose.

These came prefilled with ink, I topped off the black ink and put it into the printer. The instructions said to run the clean cycle, but I just went ahead and started printing. Everything works great, no streaking whatsoever. Printing text looks beautiful.

got my cartridges unpacked them and followed the instruction

the chips worked with the printer just fine

and its printing normally

(nice surprise is the came already filled).

--UPDATE ---

the cartridges will only reset when the printer says the ink is depleted and you remove and replace the catridge

when i refilled the black catridge i encountered some printer head blockages on the black ... apperntly the ink it shipped with reacted with the ink i refilled with was rectified by flushing the catrige clean and soaking my printer head ....

other than that these work well and are easy to use make sure and keep the orange shipping caps to use during refills.
