On the web page it says that I am buying a new ink cartridge, which it is new. The problem is that this was sitting on the shelf since 2009. it has an expiration date of 2009/05/16. it says no where on the page that this is out of date, but on the packing slip in the package, it has a highlighted sentence "Out of date, Guaranteed to work or money back." Well it didn't work, and now I am sending this back and I'm now irritated. When i put the cartridge in it recognizes that there is a cartridge in the slot but it gives a X through where the ink indicator is. The printer thinks that it is empty when you can hear the swishing around in the cartridge. I do not recommend purchasing this product. I had this same issue with black ink that i purchased, I bought two cartridges and both of them had expired ink. If your package comes in just the inner foil wrapping and not in the box that it is shown in the picture, then you are going to probably have problems. That is another thing, the picture shows a card board box around, like the one you would see in stores, but it just came in the inner foil and bubble wrapped, that is a little fishy to me. If you want to waste your time, have to ship the package back, wait for your money back, and still be in the predicament as before you purchased this, then by all means please buy this product. I gave this product 1 star because that is the lowest rating i could give it, if i could select 0 stars, I would! I hope that this review has saved you time, frustration, and your money.

What can I say? While ink is ink, name brand ink is certainly much more expensive. Saving money only has so much value, so I don't wish to test the waters of savings on such an expensive printer (DesignJet 500 42"), so use ONLY HP inks. The Canon BC-02 Black ink cartridge is becoming difficult to find...for good reason..most of the printers that it fits were made between 1994 and 1998. I just "retired" my Canon BJC-210 printer after 17 years of reliable printing, with the difficulty of finding "fresh" ink a factor in its retirement...for it still is printing just as good as it did back in 1995.

If you happen to have a Canon BC-02 cartridge in its original box, you should consider keeping it as a relic of the early days of home computers. It is very unlikely that any home printer sold in 2012 will be in service 17 years from now...today's printers don't last much longer than the ink cartridges they are sold with.

I hope Amazon and its vendors will continue to supply the BC-02, if fresh cartridges are available. They don't last long in storage, so after the factory stops supplying fresh ones, it is really the end of a long road.

I was very happy just to find this ink cartridge because I think it has been discontinued and it was not easy to find someone that actually had it. I bought extras just in case it's hard to find in the future too, which it probably will be. At this point, it's a race to see which happens first---my old printer dying, or me running out of the extra ink cartridges I bought. The suspense is almost overwhelming.

This rating is not particularly for this product, per se, but only to warn potential buyers that the BC-02 cartridge (as suggested by the ink/toner finder feature) will NOT fit into the Canon FAX-B160. The ink/toner finder feature is flawed and should CORRECTLY suggest the BX-20 cartridge. Happy trails.

I have a HP laserjet printer and each cartridge, 5 altogether, is $120 in the store. This was definitely a steal! The product works great and I have been using it for months. I will definitely use it again when I run out. It gives you about 1500 pages though!

I was very disappointed in these, as they are listed as "with new Chip." The ones I received had no such chip, and as such the HP printer error popped up stating it was not HP and that it would void any warranty. Save your money, and buy the cheap ones, as they have no chip either. The chip was the ONLY reason I purchased from this vendor. I will not purchase these from the vendor again. If I have to deal with the errors that come with counterfeit cartridges, I will get the much cheaper ones at the other vendors.

I just received the ink cartridge set and printed only one page. The colors look fine on regular printer paper. I will test more on photo paper later. It will be a great buy if I can print as many pages as the OEM cartridge.

It costed a little more than other vendor's offer but well worth it. The new chips work as it should. The HP Solution Center software is working fine to monitor the cartridge ink level again. I will not go back to buy cheaper cartridge without the new chip again.

I've been using these for 3 months now. No complaints, they work great and cost a fraction of the genuine cartridges. True, it would be nice to have the chips, which the printer would recognize. But even without the chips, I'm still pleased with the product quality.

The main reason I was pleased was because it is harder to locate cartridges for older printers. They also seem to be more expensive. I have ordered cheaper cartridges made by other companies that sometimes didn't work. Although I have an older printer, it works fine. I am glad I can find the cartridges at amazon.

This remanufactured ink works just as well as packaged, new ink. It's hard to find 901xl, with extra ink.The ink levels don't show up on the graph, but I can live with that.Good product,good price.

Like everyone else, I am tired of paying a premium price for ink for my color inkjet printers. These inkjet cartridges are equal to the Manufactureer's OEM cartridges for a fraction of the cost. Please remove the Q5942A description as these will not work in all situations that a Q5942A would work in. I still had some previous empties so I was able to get these to work by swapping memory chips with correct 42A instead of 42X identification so that it would work.
