I've had my share of printers over the years, and from various manufacturers as well.

We opted to go with the Lexmark x4690 because of it's wireless capabilities, and are pretty happy with its printing quality over all. The ability to have the printer on our home network, and accessible from any computer on the network is great.

However, with this unit taking such a specialized and pricey cartridge set, it's turned out to be a pretty expensive unit for ink. Granted, all inkjets are pricey when dealing with the ink cartridges... but this one has proven thus far, in my opinion, to be more so.

We don't do a huge amount of printing, but do use it several times a week for various two to three page docs. Nothing too crazy. But instead of running out of ink, we found that the black cartridge actually dried up, and we lost the use of the last half of the cartridge.

That was a first for me. Never had ink dry out on me like that. I was less than pleased.

We still feel the printer is worth while... but given the option to do it over again I'd be going with one of those sweet wireless routers with a USB port that allowed ANY printer to be found on a home network, and would opt for the printer with the best combination of quality and economy of ink.

The last two shipments of Lexmark #4 & #5 Black/Color Combo Pack. The quality of the ink is poor (watery) and comes out light view. I have return one set because my printer shows Unsupported cartrigge, Cartridge is not compatible with my printer. The quality is watery and comes out light. I will stopped buying from you. My printer is a WF-2540. For LESS THAN the price of one black epson ink cartridge, you get 4 refurbished, and 2 of each color. I paid $19.99 after shipping. I mean, you can't beat it! My printer didn't even give the error message like other reviews have indicated, but I don't think it's a big deal at all to have to press "OK" if I did get an error message. SO GLAD I checked on Amazon before buying name brand ink! The quality is just as good. I mostly use my printer to print notes for school, and it has a very clear quality. I thought my printer might read the cartridge as only half-full (since it was refurbished), but no! It says it's a full cartridge. I never thought ink could make me so happy, but seriously. Don't even think about buying that expensive junk when you can get this for a fraction of the cost! Hooray!

First I did not receive the product. It was two day past the due date to be received. I gave them one star. They would not send product until I took off negative feedback. I refused as I felt it was not fair to take off feedback as I paid for product and did not receive. Estimate arrival time was 9/20-9/25. 9/27 was when the negative feedback was sent. We went back and forth via e-mail as I would not back down. I got Amazon involved. They were helpful and turned it into there investigative team. Cartridgeworld Still refused to send the product until I took down negative feedback. There excuse was it got lost in the mail. USPS. I sent a complaint to the USPS and found out the tracking number Cartridgeworld gave was invalid. Amazon told me they probably made the label which would start the tracking number but never sent the product. I seen a number of reviews where they used the same excuse it got lost in the mail. I ordered the product 9/16. I finally gave in and took down the negative feedback and sent another e-mail to them letting them know. It's 10/11 today and did receive the product. These cartridges are the same as other vendors sell. I will never order from CartridgeWorld again. I have never in my life had such bad service. There rating is high as they make people take off any negative feedback. I think they hope you give up. I would not. Take my advice got thru another vendor. Very disappointed. Feel Amazon should drop them as a vendor. All is document in email. From my messages to Cartridgeworld to Amazon to the USPS. If I could give them no star I would.

In the past, I've only ordered either Brother name brand or Quill brand re-manufactured, but lately the Quill brand was not good quality and was almost as expensive as the Brother brand. The toner from Blake Printing Supply for my Brother printer works perfectly at a fraction of the cost of Brother and Quill. The prints are all clean and there are no smudges. I've ordered this product in the past with the anti clogging technology. I was about to go purchase a laser printer because I was getting so fed up with them drying out or clogging before I ever even got the 200 pages. I was literally throwing my money away every six seven months. Then I came across this product, although, I did not buy the Lexmark ink cartridge from this seller, they are making making the same claim as the other seller, and since they're both genuine Lexmark products, I honestly don't think there would be a difference in quality. The only difference is the price. The price at which I bought this cartridge was unbelievable, as I've already stated this seller says it has the same technology that the previous one I bought practically 2 years ago, and still going strong. I just don't do a lot of printing, so 200 sheets is a lot to me. They must have read my mind about going with a laser printer so I wouldn't have to deal with this feeling that I was always throwing my money away. Good job Lexmark

I purchased the set of refill inks for the first time after years of buying original cartridges for my HP printers. The only reason I went with the refill kit was because of the amount of printing my wife was doing. I could not keep up with her demand for new cartridges. Out of desperation I started to research other ways of filling my printer's needs. I am glad I did. I took the leap and ordered these replacement cartridges. I am glad I did. I printed a photo with the original HP cartridges and printed the same photo with my new refillable cartridges and there is no difference that I could tell. Plug -N-Play only slight drawback which really isn't a big deal is printer (HP3520) flags it as a non HP cartridge. But they give you a lot of ink and very adequate instructions.

Problem number 1 Cartridges did not charge correctly, had to clean the ink heads numerous times.

Problem number 2 had to print ten sheets of paper in order to get a decent print.

Problem number 3 cartridges were found to be half way empty after those ten prints.

I would have sent them back if I could. Save your money and buy original cartridges. The printer is a few months old. It was the first time I changed the cartridges on this printer.

I have finally found a non-Epson brand of ink that I won't have to throw away because my Epson 800 won't recognize it. And I don't need a 'resetter' either!

When I install one of these ink cartridges, the printer just says the cartridge is unrecognized, then asks if I want to continue. I tell the printer to continue (just like the directions that come with it) and IT WORKS !!!

I received an Amazon gift card recently and decided to purchase this pack of ink and I couldnt be happier with the quality and definitely the price. Will order more when I eventually run out of ink. And IM sorry to other reviewer who didnt receive their package on time. Mine came within a couple of days so I had no problems with shipping. I received this alternative ink solution and was hesitant to try it because it did not look identical to the manufacturer cartridge design. When I first installed the black cartridge the printer took several cycles to prime and pass internal quality testing. Subsequent installations were uneventful, the cartridges both color and black have worked well and saved a great deal of money.

One of the cartridges was broken. Ink was every where. I contacted the seller and was told that I would received another cartridge. I have not gotten anything to replace that damaged cartridge. You are only as good as your word. Still waiting for the replacement.
