Eforcity's customer support was totally useless in trying to resolve a problem with shipping this order. When I did get a response to my e-mail, it seemed like a canned response sent from an auto responder. My correspondences received from them indicates that I should contact them directly if there is a problem, or if I had any additional questions... But, the company does not respond to email directly. The only time I could get them to answer is when I went through Amazon.com directly.

The bottom line is that it took nearly a month to receive two ink cartridges... I couldn't tell you how they work, because I was forced to go out buy cartridges at a local outlet at full price because Eforcity's incompetence was delaying a project I was trying to complete. What I can tell you is that the ad in Amazon states that these are a "100% brand new item"... the boxes I got state that the cartridges are "re-manufactured". If they are re-manufactured, they are not "100% brand new"

I've always avoided buying refilled or "remanufactured" ink cartridges, but decided because of the price that I'd make an exception and give these a try. So far, I've only used the color cartridge, but I was impressed with how the cartridge looked when I took it our of the package. It had a plastic sort of spine protecting the ink-to-the-outside area that I'd never seen on an HP cartridge. The cartridge is working perfectly. I wonder about the durability of the ink on the printed page, but at this point I have no way to evaluate that. At this point, I'd not hesitate to purchase more of these cartridges.

Defective right out of the box. It was shipped in two cardboard containers inside a nylon envelope and the cardboard boxes with the two cartridges were crumpled and torn. I put the color cartridge into the printer and the first print was terrible. I tried the usual maintenance tips suggested by the printer to no avail. I did not try the black cartridge. The price was attractive so I decided to give this a try but price isn't everything. This is junk. Lesson learned and I had to pay for return shipping!!!!!

As inks go, this appears to be very good stuff. In fact, they say it's guaranteed to last 200+ years, although I'm not sure who around me will go ask for a free cartridge if my documents or photos only last 150 years. More to the point, it DOES look great.

On the other hand, these cartridges are around 30 bucks a piece and I need 8, so it rather irks me that the cartridges are so small. Perhaps that's a comment more appropriate for a review of the printer design, but it's worth noting here.

Also worth noting is that you SHOULD NOT immediately replace the ink cartridge in your HP B9180 when you get a message from it saying that this or that cartridge is about to run out. I say this because, when mine said that, I checked the little meter that tells you how much is left and it said 40% of the cartridge still had ink in it. 40%! To me, 40% is not "about to run out," but I did go ahead and buy an ink cartridge -I just held onto it until it really became obvious that it was no longer printing that color. Only then did I replace the cartridge, because doing otherwise is needlessly wasting money.

I'm not quite cynical enough to say that HP WANTS you to replace (and recycle) the ink cartridges prematurely, but it obviously would make them more money if you do. Just keep your eyes open and you'll be fine.

Light Grey is the most used ink in my HP B9180. This cartridge has 27ml of ink selling for 27 dollars which is not bad. Canon's inks are around that price range as well but come in smaller 13ml tanks. Also do check the expiration date of the ink as the chip on the cartridge will yield a warning if the expiration date has been reached. So far expired inks has yield the same result as new inks with no fading for the past year.

If you are cheap like me, buy empty tanks online and refill them with HP's 70 ink used for the Z2100 printers which comes to be $75/130ml. The HP no.70 tanks use the same inks but in a bigger tank.

Inks work well. Unfortunately, they didn't come in a box but rather, a cardboard envelope. 3 inks leaked. Not bad mind you, but that shouldn't have happened at all.

This ink prints as good if not better than the original Epson ink. The black is true black, not just a dark grey. Plus the bottles are so big that I shouldn't need to buy any more ink for a year. Not to mention, the last ink (different brand/maker) I had to print something color everyday or else I would have to go through the head cleaning process anytime I wanted to print something. This ink doesn't clog the head, in fact, since I started using it I haven't had to clean the print head once.

In summery, for $2 more than I would have spent on the 'Epson' black ink cartridge that would last 2 weeks, I got a years supply of all the colors for the printer, that look better than the stock 'Epson' ink.

Would I buy it again? Definitely! Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely!

When you refill the ink tanks, prepare for a mess. Ware gloves and lots of paper towels. When you put the ink in, it will spill turning the bottle up, after you are done, and will spit some back out. A redesign on the bottle might work. Put some plastic under the paper towels you set the tanks on. Alot of ink will come back out and a pain to clean up. Don't over fill the tanks !!!!!!!

Fill until there is an 1/2 or 1 inch from top. Builds up pressure as you fill, watch out. Ware old clothing or roll up your sleeves.

Finding a replacement toner cartridge for an HP printer turned out to be a confusing and slightly bizarre experience. We found a huge disparity in pricing, even for the HP branded stock replacement. They were all pretty expensive though.

On the other hand, some retailers had $13 replacements, which sounded way too good to be true. We settled for this brand and are pleased with our purchase. The 'high yield' is important. This cartridge is physically bigger than the stock cartridge on one side. It does fit perfectly, but there's more cartridge on the 'door' side. (it doesn't interfere with the door closing, etc). The result is that there's more toner.

I will buy this brand again, it was a reasonable 'middle ground' in price and the quality to date has been excellent.

This may not be the ink manufacturer's fault, but when I replaced the color cartridge in my Lexmark X4550, it still shows the color ink level as being empty. The printer (on it's screen) even tells me to beware using non-Lexmark brand cartridges. Other than that, color seems to print just fine, but it's annoying to have Lexmark's software hounding me about my "low color ink levels" every time I print, still.

After putting the Cartridge into the machine, completing all the 'requirements' when any new cartridge is added----each time I go to print there are statements that this cartridge is not a Lexmark product, the orange light stays lit which means the cartridge is 'empty' and there is a statement that I should order 'original Lexmark products'.....This has not affected the quality of the print but is very annoying.

I ordered this as a replacement for my x4530. It fits the socket, and prints a test page, but the printer says the ink level is low(out) and it will not print in color. I tried cleaning the contacts but to no avail, the printer still refuses to see it with full ink. Any tips for this printer are welcome but I suspect I will be sending this back for a refund. Disappointed.

On a certain level ink is ink how much more can you say about it? There certainly are questions of durability, strength, permanence (also known as washability), and the tendency to bleed through a typical sheet of paper. On those counts Sheaffer Skrip is outstanding, especially in terms of durability and strength. What I particularly like about Sheaffer's Skrip is that it is less likely to bleed through a sheet of paper to show on the other side. As far as washability/permanence goes, both brands can be got out by pre-treating with Simple Green or hairspray (or both). Better still, Skrip works fine in my Sheaffer cartridge style fountain pens, but also some of the later production Esterbrook fountain pens. And more importantly Skrip is available in a far wider variety of colors than other cartridge-style pens (and their own bottled ink!) including turquoise, purple, orange, green, and brown. This gives writers a broader palate to express themselves, something to think about if you like writing with a little flair! While that won't likely lead to a renaissance of fountain pens, it certainly could liven up your daily writing. And thank heavens for online retailers, as these cartridges are getting harder and harder to find in retailers outside of stationary stores and pen shops.

The ink colors aren't as dark as I thought they'd be -the green and purple in particular are almost pastels. But the ink is smooth and flows well, so I like the product, though I may not buy the multi-pack again.

I normally buy all-black ink cartridges for my Sheaffer pen. When I learned of these cartridges, I was so excited. I imagined myself writing in glorious shades of purple and green and blue. Oddly, the colored ink in this package is all remarkably black. The package indicates that the inks are colored, but each one is as black as the next. I'm not sure if I received a defective package or if Sheaffer's idea of red and green is very different from mine.

I have finally found a non-Epson brand of ink that I won't have to throw away because my Epson 800 won't recognize it. And I don't need a 'resetter' either!

When I install one of these ink cartridges, the printer just says the cartridge is unrecognized, then asks if I want to continue. I tell the printer to continue (just like the directions that come with it) and IT WORKS !!!

This sale was a bit misleading since it states under condition that this product is New. It is not, its a refilled cartridge which originally did not bother me, however, like many refilled cartridges, they dont last like a manufacturers sealed cartridge does. They do work in my printer with no issues, but normally cartridges last me approx. 2 1/2 3 weeks with my use, and the first one I used just ran out after less than 1 week. Even with a great low price, this was not a good deal for me. I will go back to the sealed manufacturers ink cartridges.

Too expensive and runs out way to quick, I think they actually reduced the amount of ink in each cartridge, that or they dry out. Price does not fall Canon is a rip off, but better than others, if you can find cheaper Target is a good choice go for it, otherwise Amazon is best even if pricing is not competitive.

This generic version of the Canon ink cartridges, as other reviewers have already noted, tends to leak. To date, the cartridges have all worked well in my Canon printer, so I have no complaints with the product's performance. But the leakage happened in 1 out of the 3 cartridges I opened--a Magenta ink--and be aware, this is not cranberry juice! This is an intensely colored, indelible ink! So when it dripped on my walking shorts--well, goodbye shorts. It also didn't wash off my hands, eventually wearing off after two days. But in the meantime, strangers probably wondered if I was the guy who robbed the local First National. Sure I saved money buying these inks but now I have to invest in a new pair of shorts. So, if you're looking for economy Canon-type ink, be prepared to get indelibly messy!!!

I purchased these because of the low price. The first cartridge I opened

ran out all over my hand. I tried to get the leaking to stop and finally got it in the computer. After printing 12 pages of that color it was very little improvement in the smears due to excess ink. This ink does not provide the quality you want. I have asked twice for a return slip and have not heard from the company yet. Good luck if you buy this product.
