I chose the EnviroInks 2-pack high-capacity black ink cartridges after seeing the outrageous price asked by Dell for their products. I only use my Dell AIO 922 printer occasionally but still go through cartridges quite quickly. Installing the EnviroInks cartridge was easy, just as before, it fit nicely into the cartridge holder. The only issue is that the cartridge is not recognized by the printer, so the printer still reminds me that I need to replace the cartridge because I'm out. This is not a big deal to me. What's important is that the cartridge works and print well.

I was really disappointed with these cartridges. They fit poorly and seemed all used up. The ink was obviously full in the cartridge but it printed very faintly so my guess is that it was poor quality ink.

Two of the four I ordered worked fine. The other two did not. They were full of ink, but for an as yet undetermined reason, they would not print. The company responded to an email, but by the time the 3rd or 4th email rolled around and they wanted me to describe "how it didn't work," (the cartridges were for an employee I don't see everyday), I lost interest and figured that my time was worth more than the lost cost of the cartridges.

This is great value for money, and a great printer. I had a previous CMYK printer, great savings because you only change the print cartridge for the colr you have run out of instead of the whole color cratridge regardless of the other colors still being available.

This is the black cartrdige, and this is the larger size of the two. I have printed hundreds of pages and it has not made a dent in the bars showing on the menu.

Even the small cartridge printed well over a ream of paper,so I love my new printer and these cartridges, once I got the hang of getting them into the printhead without them wobbling all over the place.

An excellent product-shop around for great value and don't forget to recycle them! (You can drop them off at staples and get rewards coupons back, up to 10 per month).

The Extra Long Hewlett Packard Ink cartridge for Officejet Printers is a great buy. I have used these for only a few months and find they give nice, sharp printing and images and last much longer than the standard cartridges. They cost less than 2 of the standard cartridges.

Purchased this 6 months ago. Will NOT print, only printed 2 or 3 pages per week. It's still full of ink, but the print Head is clogged or something. Took it out and tried to clean head, Used the HP printer cleaning software program, No success. Shows 80 per cent full in the printer LCD screen. The color cartridges are still printing and they are a year old or more.

The ink cartridges that came with my HP printer had very little ink in them to begin with, so I was shopping around almost immediately for replacements. Everywhere I went I was told that the XL cartridges were a must have for someone who does a lot of printing. Settling on these cartridges, I compared prices between several box stores and a few ink specialty stores, and Amazon still came out on top. These are very easy to install, and after using them for several weeks my ink level indicator hasn't yet moved off full.

Received 3 non-XL magenta and one smaller XL black. I will not order from here again. Printer toner is a hassle to begin with. Going to go back to ordering directly from HP unless others have suggestions.

They sent a set of 564XL cartridges *except* for Magenta. For that they sent HP 564 (no "XL") but 4 of them.

I wish I could give zero stars.

The trouble is that the more recent HP printers rejected those magenta cartridges saying "Cartridge(s) for older generation of printer."

I bought these several months ago, and have used all but the magenta, so returning these would not be worthwhile.

So I am out $$, have several cartridges that I can not use, and now need to to drive to my local store and pay high prices to get a working cartridge.

Do *NOT* accept HP 564, in any quantity, in lieu of HP 564XL.

I checked with HP. It appears that this vendor is distributing obsolete versions of the HP 564 cartridges that do not work on more recent HP printers.

I feel cheated. And now that my return window has closed my only recourse is to toss 'em into the recycle bin and eat my $$ loss.

The purchase of the 4 pack of HP 564XL was disappointing. One of the cartridges, the yellow, provides ink at a sporadic rate. It makes it interesting with anything requiring orange. This was noticed even after cleaning the printhead twice.

Also, even though the black cartridge is labelled XL, it is the size of a regular cartridge. Again, disappointed.

When I received this order, instead of 4 double capacity cartridges, I received three and a package of 4 single capacity magenta cartridges. There was a note saying that the double capacity wasn't available, but that the four single capacity amounted to more ink than one double. That sounded OK.

But today, when I changed the magenta cartridge for the first time, my printer display showed a message that said that the magenta cartridge was for an older model printer than I have and it wouldn't work. I had to put back the old cartridge which is almost empty so that I can work the printer until I can get a new cartridge.

Not only is this very inconvenient, but it's also a fraud. I paid for 4 double capacity cartridges and only received 3.

This review is for the genuine HP 60XL black and tri-color ink cartridges (in retail packaging) only. These are quality inks at a slightly better price than available elsewhere, including Walmart. I've never counted to know if I actually get 600 pages of black and white printing (as the manufacturer claims) but I do know, without a doubt, that they give me considerably more printing than any refiled or re-manufactured cartridge I've ever tried. Combine the price with the speed and ease of Amazon shipping, these inks are a great deal.

cartridges). And again, it lasted even less time than the small size. I printed 7 5"X7" photos on NORMAL setting and already the color is streaking. I can no longer afford to by the HP products and am in the market for a new printer. The printer is fine but HP really socks it to you on cartridges. I gave it a 1 star rating because no 0 was available. I have already written to HP but they never respond. Yes, I bought the cartridges on Amazon but they don't make them, only sell them at market price.

this is good ink but i think that all printer ink is too expensive! but they have you where they want you due to they fact they update the software on the printers so as to not allow off brand(cheaper) ink cartridges to work.

Works great in my epson printer, especially since they don't sell the store brand at staples or office depot anymore. The one thing I do notice is that you need to deep clean your printer heads, and align and use que tips w/alcohol, which I'm guessing may be the type of ink... or that my printer doesn't use much of the ink that often. Overall, would buy again.

First, the ink cartridge worked well in my Lexmark printer. As with most brand name printers, it will not measure the ink levels , but it will not prevent you from printing. My printer will inform me it is low, I just cancel the message and it prints well . At this price and quality of the output, it is not a problem. Only problem is having to tell our Lexmark printer to print even though it still thinks there's no black ink every time we use it. Minor pain in the rear for a good deal on ink. Time will tell if it lasts as long, but good so far.

The item pictured at the time of purchase was "PerformancePlus+", but the item actually shipped was "Direct Printing Supplies".

I have previously purchased the "Performanceplus+" cartidges and been happy with their performance.

However....

The first "Direct Printing Supplies" cartidge would not print blue. I went thru the normal HP approved process of cleaning and priming. Still no blue. I removed the cartidge and cleaned it manually as directed.

Still no blue print.

I removed the cartidge and replaced it with the second one I had purchased. Upon unpacking the sealed plastic bag from the cardboard case, I saw the inside of the bag had a fair amount of blue ink around inside of it. (Perhaps the blue ink that should have been in the first cartridge?)

After drying it off and installing it, it did print all colors correctly.

I'm hoping that it won't leak too much more ink inside my printer before I get a better replacement cartidge.

The return process was quick and painless (it was shipped by Amazon, so I lucked out there). Hopefully the refund will be issued quickly.

I was unable to use any of these Performance Plus Remanufactured Ink Cartridges that I ordered via Amazon. They were duds and shut down my printer. How disappointing; it seemed like a good product but when I went to install them, the printer would not operate and the message center called attention to the ill-fitting cartridge. And they leaked as well.

There are many remanufactured ink cartridges available with fraction of the price compare to manufacturer's cartridges.

Any time you buy these you take a chance of getting a defective or quality merchandise.

I've bought 2 separate refurb carts from 2 separate stores, and one black was faded as it appeared to be diluted and other just worked fine.

So unless you're printing for official paper like resumes and such, I recommend you buy new, or if you have to time, you can return and get another and maybe you get good refurb cart.

I have had a negative experience with this ink cartridge purchase. When I received the ink, after opening it black ink spilled everywhere, my khaki pants included--which were ruined. And since then I have had trouble printing. My printer prints fine but the images are not good quality.

I had all OEM toners and replaced all 4 with this set. I had printed a color test page before and after the swap the colors with OEM cartridges are slightly brighter and mix smootherespecially near-white colors. The aftermarket cartridges also left some random specks on the page. Considering these are about 18% the cost of the OEM, I think it's a good deal for the price. I'd say they're about 90% as good as OEM quality.

Update to initial review:

As you can read below, the order did not go well, but the company responded twice, on two separate issues, and kept at it until I was happy. I admire this response.

A few days after I wrote the below review, the printer stopped working. The company responded by email, always quickly, and I explained what I had done and what was wrong. They asked me to look at the small numbers on the sensors, and they confirmed, after I sent them pictures, that the sensors were the wrong ones for the perfectly fitting cartridges (they didn't say "Dell 3130"). They promised to send four new sensors, and they did, although they took several days to arrive. I installed the "new" sensors on the cartridges, and now all appears to be well. The color printouts look very good, and I am not getting ominous warnings from the printer. So I would raise the rating from 3 stars to 3.5 stars if I could, because despite the hassles, the company followed up and resolved the problems. They really appear to be trying.

The sad thing is that this would have been a five star review if they had shipped faster and with the right sensors: the printer works fine now, and the price is good.

Eleven days after ordering, I still hadn't received the order. I emailed the company, Toner Tap, and they apologized via email the next day, and they offered to rebate half the shipping, and told me the package would arrive the next day, which I already knew because of the tracking info, but twelve days is too long. Toner Tap then asked me to give them a better rating than the two stars I'd proposed, after they credited my card. It was not a quid pro quo, but rather an after-the-fact request.

So I installed the cartridges, and because (apparently) the sensors did not have the small prongs that the original ones had, the printer gave an error message and said to "call support". I pried the sensors off of the old cartridges, and snapped them on the ones from Toner Tap, and they then installed and printed okay, but the printer still thinks that the cartridges are empty, which is irritating, and might cause angst later, although I'm not sure.

So I'm not sure how to rate them: the Toner Tap ones are a lot cheaper than the high priced Dell ones, and the company responded quickly and with an offer of cash, which I appreciate, although faster shipping would have been better. And I added one star for the fast, sincere response.

But these cartridges aren't an exact replacement, at least on my printer, and that is frustrating. Many people would likely not know to pry off the sensors, and they'd end up shipping these back.

Next time, I'll probably order another set of non-OEM, as the pricing on the Dell ones is crazy high, but I will likely try another vendor, with the hope of faster shipping and more importantly, a cartridge which is 100 percent compatible with the printer.
