The ink cartridges that came with my HP printer had very little ink in them to begin with, so I was shopping around almost immediately for replacements. Everywhere I went I was told that the XL cartridges were a must have for someone who does a lot of printing. Settling on these cartridges, I compared prices between several box stores and a few ink specialty stores, and Amazon still came out on top. These are very easy to install, and after using them for several weeks my ink level indicator hasn't yet moved off full.

Received 3 non-XL magenta and one smaller XL black. I will not order from here again. Printer toner is a hassle to begin with. Going to go back to ordering directly from HP unless others have suggestions.

They sent a set of 564XL cartridges *except* for Magenta. For that they sent HP 564 (no "XL") but 4 of them.

I wish I could give zero stars.

The trouble is that the more recent HP printers rejected those magenta cartridges saying "Cartridge(s) for older generation of printer."

I bought these several months ago, and have used all but the magenta, so returning these would not be worthwhile.

So I am out $$, have several cartridges that I can not use, and now need to to drive to my local store and pay high prices to get a working cartridge.

Do *NOT* accept HP 564, in any quantity, in lieu of HP 564XL.

I checked with HP. It appears that this vendor is distributing obsolete versions of the HP 564 cartridges that do not work on more recent HP printers.

I feel cheated. And now that my return window has closed my only recourse is to toss 'em into the recycle bin and eat my $$ loss.

The purchase of the 4 pack of HP 564XL was disappointing. One of the cartridges, the yellow, provides ink at a sporadic rate. It makes it interesting with anything requiring orange. This was noticed even after cleaning the printhead twice.

Also, even though the black cartridge is labelled XL, it is the size of a regular cartridge. Again, disappointed.

When I received this order, instead of 4 double capacity cartridges, I received three and a package of 4 single capacity magenta cartridges. There was a note saying that the double capacity wasn't available, but that the four single capacity amounted to more ink than one double. That sounded OK.

But today, when I changed the magenta cartridge for the first time, my printer display showed a message that said that the magenta cartridge was for an older model printer than I have and it wouldn't work. I had to put back the old cartridge which is almost empty so that I can work the printer until I can get a new cartridge.

Not only is this very inconvenient, but it's also a fraud. I paid for 4 double capacity cartridges and only received 3.
