I bought this based on recommendations and reviews. After I received it, I used it on my Epson professional inkjet printer. Worked like a charm! Before InkOwl, my printer would say the ink is out when I could shake the ink cartridge and clearly hear that there's still a good amount of ink. After InkOwl, my printer used up ALL the ink. Thank you, InkOwl!

Beats throwing away otherwise perfectly good, almost full, ink cartrrdges. I use the printer only once in a while and the "artifical" expiration date programmed into the cartridges rolls around relatively quickly. I'm saving $$$$$ thanks to this product.

worked out of the box

i would've given it 4 stars cus it comes with two pieces of plastic that are not explained. I don't know what their purpose is, nor is it mentioned or depicted in the manual. But the item itself works, it's a decent price, and doesn't have terribly much of a need to be high quality.

unfortunately, the inks I reset actually didn't have any ink left, and somehow, force refilling them didn't work either.

I went on to buy actual refillable cartridges, which had autoreset chips anyway. ah well.
