I tried to save some money, since these cartridges are so expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. The colors seem somewhat faded, but what is worst is that black is not black at all. Instead, it looks blue. Quite disappointing.

Up until recently I've had good luck with my Canon compatible ink tanks. Not so much so with HP laser compatibles. I have already swithced to the more expensive Genuine HP product because the compatibles were messing up my printers. Not worth the savings. Now I seem to be having the same trouble finding compatible ink that works well for my dinosaur non-chipped ink tank canon printers. It is definately worth the extra cost to go genuine, beats replacing print heads prematurly due to running cheap ink through them.

I used to just buy new printers every year or two because it used to be that the ink was so expensive that you were just as well off buying new printers, not to mention that the resolution of the printer was changing to much. We bought our most recent printer about 3 years ago now. A canon injet. It's done nothing short of excellent when printing reports, photos, wedding save-the-dates, and anything else we've thrown at it. It still prints like it's brand new and a lot of that success should be attributed to the ink cartridges doing their job right. This is probably the 10th time we've bought ink for the little workhorse and none of the brink and mortar shops near us even come close to amazon's prices on canon brand ink for our printer.

Certainly cheaper than getting it directly from the manufacturer. I haven't had any smearing/smudging with it. It seems to last just as long as any other official Canon tank I've purchased.

We got the Dell P703W free when we purchased a new laptop and we thought it was a pretty good deal. That was until the ink ran out....and fast! These replacement cartridges are GREAT! The price? Well, if you have one of these printers you KNOW how overpriced the ink is...these are spot on!! Dell has tried as hard as they can to make it impossible for consumers to refill their cartridges...and I tried and failed. Great product, great price and what a value.

This ink is absolutely NOT compatible with Dell printers. I put in the color cartridge and my printer recognized immediately that it wasn't a Dell cartridge and then refused to do anything until I took out the offending ink and put in a Dell ink cartridge.

I only use G&G after trying others and reading test results from a few inkjet-dedicated sites. Color quality and accuracy is about the same as Canon OEM ink. The one drawback, and the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars, is that prints made with this ink will fade after a few years if exposed to direct light, especially sublight, while prints made with Canon ink seem to be much longer lasting. The fading doesn't seem to be an issue for prints placed behind glass, as in a frame, since glass is a UV filter. And of course prints in the dark (album, drawer, etc.) hold up fine too. Personally, to me, this isn't an issue since I use reasonably priced paper (Kirkland brand photo paper from Costco, which is a direct match to the expensive Canon "Photo Paper Pro" line) and this ink so I consider unframed prints "disposable". And if I want a print to last I just frame it or put it in an album, then it's fine.

Discount Canon PGI-72 10 Color Pack - Includes: Magenta, Yellow, Photo Cyan

This PGI-72 10 pack is the box to have on hand after installing the first set of cartridges in a Canon Pixma Pro-10 printer. After the first cartridge is empty, it makes sense to buy individual ink cartridges as a backup. Unless individual cartridges are a lot more than $13 each, this 10 pack will be a onetime purchase (depending on the type of printing done, some cartridges may run out much faster than the others).

This pack lists for $135. Canon offers this every day of the week with free shipping. They are also running a free promotion of sample paper and a scrapbook (not sure I understand this promotion most people using this printer are probably printing with fine art paper and the type of paper they include is not in that category).

If you print mostly black and white, there is a PGI-72 Monochrome pack (the three black / gray cartridges and one Chroma optimizer cartridge)Canon PGI-72 3 Mono + 1 Color Pack. If you use the Chroma Optimizer a lot, there is a 4 pack of optimizer (oddly it is called the PGI-72 4 Color pack at Canon) Canon PGI-72 4 Optimizer Pack. Otherwise, the 10 different cartridges are available individually.

PGI-72 ink only works in the Pixma Pro-10 printer. This is incredible pigment based ink, producing some of the best pictures I have ever seen from a desktop printer. There is no good way to tell how many pictures these ink cartridges will produce (cost per print is a really difficult calculation). The way I look at it, the cost of the paper I'm printing with is way more than what I will use up in ink. And the finished product is just so outstanding; the ink cost is just what it is.

Contrary to some rumors, using a non branded toner cartridge does not void the warranty for a printer.

These cartridges work great. Your printer will indicate "Non HP" or something like that, but the output is fine.

I bought these cartridges in July, 2011 and never wrote a review. My mistake but I had not used them yet and did not know what to say about them at that time. I have since used all four and they have worked perfectly in my 3600n printer by HP.

Thanks to Amazon for keeping such good records for me, I was able to tell which company I ordered them from and so I will order more soon.

I highly recommend these cartridges. A great deal all four for less than one at the Office Supply store.

Update: Buying this will save you a bunch of money on ink. My printer sucks up ink like crazy and I refuse to keep paying almost 25 bucks for each cartridge. I have refilled my cartridge already 3 times with just this item. Soo Yeah I think this is worth it. I don't think I will ever buy cartridges again.

My printer recognizes that the ink cartridge is there, but it will not print correctly. When it did print, the font wasn't solid. There were white lines going through some of the sentences. After using the printers cleaning function, I tried printing and nothing printed at all. I then removed the cartridge and put it back. It printed, but with the same terrible quality as before. If I have to remove and reinsert the cartridge multiple times to eventually get it to work correctly, then it's basically junk. Non-OEM cartridges are terribly hit-or-miss.

All I can say is WOW. Good quality ink, as good as OEM and REALLY REALLY cheap! I LOVE my Brother Printer, and although the ink is cheaper than the other cruddy brands, it is still expensive! Saved yet AGAIN by Amazon, this ink is well worth your time and money and this package is the best deal on the site. Ink even has a 'warranty' as labeled on the box, but that is a bit doubtable. Worth the risk, it's a small investment for a fortune of ink.
