After two years of using Epson expansive ink cartridges on a Epson Workforce 600, I wanted to find cheaper alternative that would work. I took a small risk and order the non-oem ink cartridges. The non-oem cartridge came filled with ink. I followed the instruction and replace all Epson ink cartridges. So far the non-oem ink cartridges works and I am able to print. I do notice the black ink is not as good as the Epson ink, but for the price ill take that any day. I did buy Ink refill set for CIS/CISS or refillable cartridges using Epson 68, 69 ink: Workforce 40, 310, 500, 600, 610 & NX100, NX115, NX200, NX215, NX400, NX415, NX515 with the non-oem ink cartridges. to refill it when the time is needed. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

I later came to the conclusion that after I went to use them the chips on two that of the cartridge that are for resetting the printer were not secured to the case and when I went to install them they did not work.

The color cartriges are not recognized or detected by the printer. After loose lot of time trying to get it work I went back to the original EPSON cartriges to be able to use my printer. I have to concluded that problem is at the chip at each color cartriges malfunction or chip wrong software . The black cartriges are detected with no problem. I have no idea if they will fix it because should be easy and no so much trouble to replace those cartriges. For now I will keep using the expensive EPSON cartriges....I have no other option.

So I run out of ink on New Year's Eve, and my local office supply store let's call it, "Thumbtacks" is of course closed for the holiday. Irritated, I decide to price the cartridges on Amazon. (This is a new printer, and this is the first time I'd needed a new cartridge.) I was blown away by the price difference. We're talking more than $20 cheaper here, for the exact same product. At Thumbtacks it's $32 for ONE cartridge and $57 for a 2-pack.

I've owned many printers, but this is my first Brother. I'm really pleased with this ink. I am an artist and often use printouts in my art, and one of the best things about this black ink is that it is very water-resistant once printed. This the only printer I've ever owned that has that quality. With most printers the slightest drop of water washes the ink right off the page, but this stuff stays put. (The colors do run, though.)

Thumbtacks dropped the ball on this one. (It's New Year's Eve. See what I did there?) My advice? Definitely buy this ink here. As an added bonus, take your empty cartridges to Thumbtacks and they'll give you $3 in store credit for each one.

By the way, it's not listed here, but I have a Brother MFC-5890. This is the correct ink for that model.

This is the original ink, no surprises here. Works as it should, stick with the high yield over the std ones.

These inks came in a silver plastic that blocks seeing the labels, and there are no labels on the plastic. We had to hold them up to the light, and guess by the color of the cartridge which color it might be!

I have inserted two of these as replacements in my Epson Artisan 710 So far, indistinguishable from Epson cartridges. My printer recognizes them, reads the level of ink, and the colors look unchanged.

If my experience changes, I'll come back here and report that.

Replaced all cartridges but large black. Red comes out purple, yellow comes out purple. Plus when I took red cartridge out ink leaked out. Had "big" job to do but couldn't print it. CANNOT recommend!!!

***UPDATE*** When I went to print something that should be mostly green it came out blue. So figured out it had to be the yellow cartridge. Changed that one out and the colors printed correctly!!!

So even though I wasted a ton of ink "cleaning", "deep cleaning" and "aligning" the cartridges several times in attemps to "fix" the problem not to mention also changing out the red cartridge to a new one I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars based upon super low price and the fact that I may have just gotten a "bad" yellow cartridge.

Definitely well worth the extra cost. I have used these ink refills for a couple years now & will not buy the regular HP 74 & 75 refills, because those do not last long enough. My guess, after using these for a year now, is that these last about three times as long as the regular 74 & 75 cartridges.

About half of these worked. Probably the HP printer does all it can to detect and prohibit use of non-HP cartridges (so they can sell their ridiculously overpriced ink). I have no idea why some worked and some didn't. Even if only half of them work, it's still a much better deal than the HP stuff.

Our printer was leaving streaks in anything with color and just kept getting worse. We thought it was the ink at first but we found out the heads could be changed. We bought new heads and the printer is back to normal again!

Wasted a bunch of ink trying to "clean" uncleanable printheads. It was either new heads or trash a $400 HP OfficeJet 8500. I think the heads got gummy when we used the printer during a summer heatwave where temperatures routinely hit 95 degrees farenheit in Michigan. Undoubtedly this is "out of spec" for the printers.

Installation took 30 seconds once I figured out how to make the printheads appear (they are nowhere near the ink carts by the way).

It is confusing that there is one pack for each pair of heads M/C and Y/K. Just buy both sets of printheads at the same time. Unless you are a black-print-only kind of person.

Whatever ink they are using dries up if not used for a month or two and cartridge is unuseable.

This does not happen with Factory cartridges. Seller said they would exchange but I am not willing

to go through this again. I am going to stay with factory cartridges. A lesson learned I guess.

Bought this 56 thinking it would work for my HP all-in-one. It worked great one the first printout! The 2nd time i tried to print, printing became unbelievable slow. Then kaput!! Read error every time i try to reinsert it. I put the old HP cartridge back in, and it read! Put this one in once again, then Error.

Just saying,may not be compatible with HP psc lines
