* You will probably have ink leaking inside printer, because the cartridges have to be removed and then reinstalled with quite a bit of pressure in order for the printer to clear the empty signal. The excessive pressure is also damaging to the print head alignment.

After owning the Epson Photo 2200 printer for many years and limiting what I print due to the cost of Epson ink, I finally decided to give non-OEM ink a try. 2 of my colors were low so I printed a reference photo using the original OEM ink and then swapped out the 2 colors (light magenta and cyan) and then printed 3 more copies of 4x6 to make sure the new ink was being used. To my surprise, the prints were exactly the same as my reference print. Also, note that I did not have to do any head cleaning so the new cartridges works perfectly from the moment I installed them.

Note: The cartridges are shaped a little differently and have a tape that covers an air inlet that needs to be removed upon installation into printer. Also, to ensure a secure fit, the cartridges use a piece of felt to add additional resistance to the locking tab. The ink cartridges do require a bit more force to push into place but once installed, seem to be very secure.

I have purchased this ink more than once, each and every one of the cartridges work same as the original equipment. I have always purchased after market ink with good results. Buying genuine cartridges will be so expensive since my wife prints tons of documents on a daily basis.

There are many manufactor for hp 02 refillable ink, but some have been problems for example, clog the nozzle.

But this inks are very good. I have used for 2 and more years with no problem.

One concern, It's little darker than original ink. When you print photo, it will be better to set 30% brighter than usual.

I had fairly good luck with this product, although I did have a little problem with one of the syringes used for filling the cartridges. The ink however, worked very well and at a greatly reduced price than new cartridges would have been.

I was led to believe that I was purchasing the Nu-Kote Ink Jet Refill Kit #RF196 as pictured, which includes a cartridge template, drill tool, adhesive stickers, two refill bottles syringe, moistened towelette, and dry cloth. However, what I got was two bottles of Vivante Refill Ink crammed in a box that was made to hold only one bottle. This is NOT what I paid for. These bottles are almost half the size of the ones that come with the Nukote kit. This is a total misrepresentation of what was shown. I am terribly disappointed because I have never been ripped off like this before. Shame on you!

FYI--Since my original review of the Nu-Kote Ink Cartridge Refill Kit, the current picture of the product is not the same one that accompanied the description when I ordered.

Very useful for refilling my ink cartridges. Has revived several so far. There's far more ink than i thought for the money which is always nice. It's also a dark black color, for those who may wonder if it's just a dark green or purple. I intend to purchase more in the future.

I pulled the tab that it said to pull and the ink immediately started to spill all over my hands. don't know why theres a tab that releases ink and is required to be removed. also not sure if the ink even worked. the printer was very old and there was printer heads that might have been broke so the ink could be perfectly fine. I don't know. cost of new printer heads was more that a mid-range printer.

I ordered this product for my L7650 Officejet Pro. Got it in a short time. Opened up a black cartridge, pulled it out of the box, removed the cover label from inkjet opening and black ink poured all over my desk. The cartridge was missing the part that plugs into the printer. What a mess. Luckily the ink was on a deskcover that did not absorb the ink. The product was returned and I ordered from another vendor that I had experience with. Never again will I cheap out.

This ink is a great replacement for the HP ink previously used in my HP 3 in 1 machine. The color is very good and the black ink prints evenly and dries instantly. The fact that it comes in one set and has two black cartridges was certainly a plus!

I purchased my Stratitec brand of ink from the seller Dragonfire Enterprises, and I was sent exactly what I ordered 6 bottles, 3 oz each, 2 of each color. Shipping was very fast from them too, and the ink was double-boxed with air pockets around the inner box much better packaging than just loosely thrown into a padded envelope like many other sellers will do.

This is for INK ONLY, it does NOT come with: tools, needles, syringes, gloves, stickers, or instructions there was no such mention of those accessories in the title or description, so no stars off for that. I've got a needle/syringe I can use from my black ink refill kit after washing it out.

I haven't used the ink yet, but once I try it I'll be back here to update this review.

In one of the seller's descriptions, it listed that it would fit a Brother MFC-490CW, but it DOES NOT. The Amazon ad didn't say it, but one of the generic brand marketplace sellers did say it would fit. This cartridge is fatter than the one for the 490 and just won't fit into the slot. Amazon was nice enough to take it back, even though it wasn't specifically their ad that said it would fit. if you've got a 490, you've gotta get the LC61 series.

This ink works very well. I have had no problems with it. It doesn't last quite as long as the actual Canon ink but for the price difference, that's not a problem. The one quibble I have is with the packaging. It comes with all the colors plus black and my printer uses very little red and green, so I now have about 4 extra red and green cartridges that will take forever to use up. I wish it was possible to buy a package without those colors. Blake Printing Supply gives excellent customer service and I will continue to buy from them.

Prior to purchase I wanted to find out if I could use their cartridges to replace just 2 or 3 of the OEM ink cartridges that were running out of ink. I was concerned about whether or not their inks and cartridges would be compatible and blend properly with the original OEM ink and cartridges?

Or did I need to remove all the OEM inks and cartridges, and use "only" their inks and cartridges?

They were very prompt and courteous, he said before they gave me an answer he wanted to double check with manufacturing. Within 2 days I received another email that said he did check with manufacturing, they said I could mix their inks and cartridges with the OEM inks and cartridges, that I would not have any problem with the 2 products working together electronically and that the inks would properly blend together.

I will be replacing 3 or 4 of the 8 colors with this product later this week. I will follow up on how that worked out.

I replaced my yellow, magenta, photo magenta, black, cyan, and photo cyan cartridges with the ones in this pack at the same time. I bought this cartridge for my HP B8550 printer, because it' s only 1/3 the price of the same in Europe. But as expected my printer gave an error message: "incompatible ink cartridge". Obviously HP did some regionalizing in their equipment in order to generate additional income with the customers outside of the USA. Apparently the chip on the cartridge has another identification information. Also the same cartridge is called "HP 364 XL" in Europe instead of "HP 564 XL" in USA. Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with my HP printer and in the meantime I found a dealer in Switzerland who sells these Cartridges only twice as expensive then in USA, so I'm lucky. The quality of the prints with the original HP ink cartridges is simply fantastic.

The biggest complaint for personal inkjets is well.. ink. It's always expensive and you feel like you are spending the lionshare of your purchase on the fancy packaging and plastic delivery mechanism. We use our printer for casual use and a decent amount of photo 4x6 printing. These XL inks definitely last longer than the std versions that shipped with the printer, and yellow always seems to go first. But they work as advertised, and never last as long as you want them to. We've had our printer for 2 years and replaced inks once a year now.

The colors seem to pop when using the special 4x6 papers and drying time is very fast. I haven't seen any fading in pictures that were printed 2 yrs ago with these inks, and they are advertised to not fade, so i guess its working as advertised.

This ink will definitely work with the HP Photosmart C6380 printer, despite what the printer compatability chart says. The C6380 is even listed on the side of the box as one of the printers that uses this ink.
