This toner is very high quality and was packaged better than the one from HP. For the price, it is definitely worth it. Image prints look great and text is nice and dark. Make sure you remove all the orange tabs, I didn't remove the one covering the chip contacts because it looked like it was part of the cartrige, so at first the printer could not get cartrige level. Once I removed the clip everything worked perfectly. I will be ordering more of these soon, thank you!

I have had my HP Laser Jet P1606dn for more than 9 months. During this time I have used OEM replacements. There were no problems. I have used no other replacements except HP until I bought your product. I am not trying to establish blame at this time, because I had all little problem installing your cartridge. Once installed, I have had what I call minor inconveniences. Mainly, on first use in the day, the first and last pages of a three page document fail to print. At this point, I can not say whether the fault is with the chip or the printer. The reason that I want to stick with the compatibles is to save money. I will continue to switch from printer manufacturer until I find success. Srcondly, I will do likewise with the compatible vendors until I find success. So, at this point I am not a disgruntled customer, but I also am not a happy camper. Before printer manufactures felt the need to be restrictive about the reuse of their ink and toner, it was a fair means for consumer thrift. I used an Epsom for more than six years using generic replacements.

I was led to believe that I was purchasing the Nu-Kote Ink Jet Refill Kit #RF196 as pictured, which includes a cartridge template, drill tool, adhesive stickers, two refill bottles syringe, moistened towelette, and dry cloth. However, what I got was two bottles of Vivante Refill Ink crammed in a box that was made to hold only one bottle. This is NOT what I paid for. These bottles are almost half the size of the ones that come with the Nukote kit. This is a total misrepresentation of what was shown. I am terribly disappointed because I have never been ripped off like this before. Shame on you!

FYI--Since my original review of the Nu-Kote Ink Cartridge Refill Kit, the current picture of the product is not the same one that accompanied the description when I ordered.

Very useful for refilling my ink cartridges. Has revived several so far. There's far more ink than i thought for the money which is always nice. It's also a dark black color, for those who may wonder if it's just a dark green or purple. I intend to purchase more in the future.

First, the drill provided is not useful in anyway to drill the hole bigger. I tried for over 20 mins and the opening just just a tiny bit bigger, yet it was not big enough to allow the needle in.

Second, after I managed to use a smaller size needle to inject the ink into the cartridge, it worked fine printing for about 10 pages or so, then the printing quality went down hill with smudges, blurred prints, and lines all over the page. It didn't help that I only injected 10ml of ink so it wasn't overflow, and I set it out to settle + absorb the ink for 8+ hours before I insert it back into the printer.

In other words, I spent over $11 and was only able to print about 10 pages from this ink refill. I am very disappointed by this product. I do not recommend buying this refill ink.

Con: Can get messy but with careful practice its simple enough. Worth a lil labor for all the money you end up saving!

I'm glad I had a glass casserole to contain the operation and a roll of paper toweling handy to sop up spilled ink as this was a messy job. I'll probably be neater the second time I fill the container, but I may go back to pre-filled ink cartridges. The hand drill didn't work too well, but my power drill made a short job of creating the hole.

At first I was a little skeptical about purchasing an after market ink for my printer. Once I recieved my order, I replaced the empty cartridges with the after market one, and I was very impress!! I cant't tell the difference when I print my documents. From now on, I'm ordering my printer ink from Amazon.

update 5/9/2013: Since i work at home and print a lot of text for companies i deal with, i can say that i am qualified to tell the consumer between this cartridge and the original cannon cartridge. I reduce my rating from four stars to three and here is why. First of all the quality of the ink is excellent and this cartridge never leaked or cogged up my printer. The problem is that it only printed half as many pages as the cannon ink did before it ran out. I had two printers printing full page text at the same time in draft mode. Both printers are cannon MP280's and one was running new cannon 210 cartridge and the other one running this cartridge. This cartridge ran out half way though the job. I installed another one to finish up and it took almost two of theses to equal out what the one cannon cartridge could print. The way i see it, it isn't cost efficient to purchase versus the Cannon ink. The only reason i would recommend this cartridge is if the initially cost of buying a a cartridge and you have to have a cartridge quickly to print with, and initial cost is a factor.

I highly advise against not purchasing these...spend the extra money and get the Lexmark brand.

These worked great for about 5 pages of color printing, then the yellow ink started streak all over everything, then the print head shorted out, and I now how a printer going in the garbage. I would not have thought that a printer could be destroyed by ink, but mine seems to have been!

The printer was a Lexmark Prospect Pro205.

These cartridges saved me a bundle, and they work perfectly.

I read lots of reviews for 3rd party ink, and many mentioned that they did not work with the last firmware update. Before ordering, I contacted the seller and asked about this. The seller was right. These preform like the OEM, and a chip lets them work with the new firmware update.

Buy without worry. My order did have a delivery problem, but it was from the shipping company, not the seller. They shipped me another set, showing great customer service.

Finding replacement cartridges for my Lexmark S-305 Impact WiFi printer has been a real pain because they keep changing and automatically upgrading the software/firmware for the cartridges to force you to buy only their cartridges. I had previously purchased two black 100XL Green Apple cartridges and they worked fine so I figured these should as well. So far the first three set of color ones are working fine and I had 1 of the previous 2 black cartridges and it's working as well. I'm sure the black ones in these sets will work as well. Great price and gives you the confidence they will work well for you. I can highly recommend these cartridges.

I installed one of the black cartridges and ran my test page. On my printer the test page prints blue & black. There was no black and the bottom of the cartridge was real wet. So I installed the other one and it worked just fine. Never had any trouble with Toner Pals before, so I decided not to persue any actions on this purchase.

Epson always sell you cheap printers and get you on the backend with outrageous ink prices. Printpayless break that paradigm with their bulk ink offerings. I was skeptical until I went through the first load and refill, now I am sold. Print quality looks great and at around 10% of the cost you can't go wrong. Had one issue that was quickly resolved by the helpful staff so I have no issues at all.
