I have purchased this item in the past for my printer and found while the price was resonable, the quality good, the lifespan really wasn't; The cartridges didn't last very long. I went through three of them just writing three or four papers last year. Suggestions for keeping the cartridge from drying up/running out so quickly would be a good addition.

Buyer be aware! As the box shows, this item includes both the ink tank *and* the green cartridge which holds the ink tank. I was confused by many other products stating "ink cartridge" which are actually the ink tank only. The cartridge was essential for me to revive my old BJC-55 which is now running strong again, thanks to this product.

Especially since I needed the cartridge, I did not want my printer's fate to be decided by a "compatible" third party product. Personally, I believe a Canon printer should use Canon ink and I was not disappointed.

The reason I did not give it five stars is at nearly bucks a pop, even with the cartridge, it's pricey, but not having bought any other ink, as far as I know, ink for all printers could be expensive.

If you don't use the printer on a daily basis, these cartridges dry up only days after you stop. Given that the BJC-80 is a portable printer, I only use it while traveling, which means having to buy new cartridges for every trip. A real money drain!

I have a new Canon MP640. Tried the CLI-221 4-pack. Prompt delivery, but their cyan didn't work. Stuff happens, so I called them. Good customer service. They're sending me a cyan replacement and I will update this after it's tested.

Update: I was immediately sent a cyan replacement cartridge, this happened twice. The 3rd time was a charm. I appreciated the prompt response and action. I will order from them again.

"Three inks (blue, yellow, and magenta) clogged up Canon printer MP990. I had to request from Canon a new print-head because I could not clean or unclog the print-head. Currently the magenta ink is not working in the print-head. However, the manufacturer did refund my money.

These cartridges have a difference from the Canon OEM cartridges that may be noteworthy. The rear translucent latch that locks the cartridge down into the print head is shorter than the OEM cartridge. The latch does seem to catch but it does not stick up as far out of the head after the cartridge is installed. One result is that the red light that shows cartridge condition/status is not visible out the back of the print head. You can see the red light on the rear of the cartridge only if you look down into the print head behind the cartridge.

The Canon Pixma IP47000 does seem to recognize and utilize the cartridge. Performance over time is yet to be observed.

This was the second time I ordered this ink from the CartridgeWarehouse.

These cartridges fit my Canon MP560 correctly, and the ink seems to be reasonably bright and vivid.

I think, however, there might be a problem with cartridges' computer chips. When my blue and yellow cartridges from the first order ran out of ink completely and stopped printing, the ptinter monitor was showing that they were only nearing the end of life and still had a little ink left in them.

Also, when I opened a magenta cartridge my second order, a few drops of ink came out. I was able to catch it with my hand, but if it fell on the carpet, it would have been a problem. I recommend you remove tape from cartridges over something that can catch potential ink drops (e.g. plastic bag, plate, sink, etc.).

Overall, the cost-benefit of these cartridges is good, so I will, most likely, reorder in the future.

I received these ink cartridges in May. I did not attempt to use them until July since my ink cartridges in my ink jet had not run out. The return period expired in June.

When I opened the packages the ink had spilled out and stained my fingers and everything it came in contact with.

The large Black ink cartridge would not seat correctly in the machine and is useless. Everybody knows if one ink cartridge is not working the entire printer becomes non-functional.

The company would not accept returns for their defective products. They should not be allowed to sell via Amazon.

First review I've ever written after years of purchasing through Amazon. The price for these cartridges is excellent and they arrived exactly as stated. With refills and 3rd party I expect the possibility of issues because, unfortunately, that's just the way it is with aftermarket cartridges.

Put a new set of cartridges in my printer and everything worked well. However, about 1 week after use the cyan cartridge failed to "light up". I moved on to the next cartridge in the set and it has thus far worked fine. After speaking with Hi Vision customer service, they promptly sent out another single cartridge to replace my bad unit. Does not get better than that and they stand behind their guarantee.

I wasn't sure if these were going to do well in my new printer, but they did pretty good. The colors didnt seem to loose much vibrancy. Plus i only needed to use one cartridge. I will still use the product brand, but for economical reasons these Lil buggers seems to do the trick.

I won't be ordering this particular knock-off again. I used one black without a problem and the blue worked just fine but when I went to replace magenta the first cartridge did not have computer chip so had to throw it away and the second magenta was defective. My printer kept saying it did not recognize it. Since my printer will not work without magenta I am off to the office store to purchase one.

1st package I received included a faulty black cartridge. I emailed the seller who promptly replied with a possible remedy. When that remedy failed, I emailed again requesting a replacement black cartridge. I received the cartridge within a couple of days and it works fine. You do have to "ok" using a non-HP cartridge on your PC, but it prints just fine once you do.

The cartridges worked just fine. Printer let me know they were remanufactured and not new cartridges. Only problem was that the black cartridge leaked on my hands during installation, but seems to work fine in the printer. Good value but just know these are remanufactured and not new.

This ink is for my aging Canon photo printer. It has lasted me a good long time without a lic of problems. I use it every day... all day and it just keeps going. Recently tried this in my canon mx882. Even though I don't print much, the constant cleaning cycles automatically programmed into the machine and not changeable was really gouging me. Have tried the cyan and magenta so far and printer immediately recognized the cartridge as full now and it prints very well. Notice the cartridges are clear, so you can visually see the fluid levels unlike the OEMS which are black, no doubt hoping you will throw it out early and buy more. Would have given 5 stars but have not yet tried all of them. Notice one is pigment black.. I recommend you give it a try and I certainly will repurchase. Ran a print head test sheet with the new cartridges and it came out fine. The machine can clean all it wants now-I'm finally free of canon"s rope around my neck. .

My Kodak Printer would NOT accept these cartridges. My printer would not recognise the cartridges as "Genuine Kodak"! They may work in some printers, But not in mine. I threw my Kodak in the trash and bought a Lexmark. You can "Re-Ink" a Lexmark.

The supplier taught me that the problem with these cartridges is that Brother doesn't necessarily see and use all of the ink. You have to take them out and shake them.. This particular batch is the first time I've experienced this in the two years I've owned the printer. Can't say what's really the culprit, only that the shaking works. Hopefully your cartridge won't have any reside splashing around when you do it be careful. Luckily, mine was yellow when I exerienced that.
