Despite other reviewers reporting that these cartridges leak, I thought I'd try them anyway since they're so cheap. "You get what you pay for" still stands though. The first cartridge I opened leaked on my hands. Also leaked in the printer, which required some cleanup. After those two incidents, however, it seems to be working OK (fingers crossed). Only time will tell, plus have another of these cartridges. Next time I buy though, I'm going back to brand new Canon cartridges. I'm on my second Canon printer so have used LOTS of (new) Canon cartridges and can't remember having one single incident with them.

I have purchased this ink about 3 or 4 times now. It works great! No problems at all. It's cheap in price and good quality. We use it for coloring sheets for our kids and papers for school and some random color pages. We have not used it to print photos, so i do not know how well it will print on photo paper nor how long the ink coloring will last. We made some homemade games and printing to higher quality paper and it does well. I can't tell a difference between these and the crazy expensive stuff.

First the good news. In the fit and function department they work pretty well. In fact this product gets high marks for cost and functionality with one exception. The mechanism for feeding back the ink levels does not work with my particular printer (Cannon Ip2600). The manufacturer even includes a written statement to that effect enclosed with the cartridge. This does not create any problems other than the fact that it constantly warns you that the ink is low. As long as you have the option to ignore the ink level warning and print things are good. The jury is still out on the amount of ink that is available.

Canon nearly gives away the printer and charges a heafty fee for orginal cartridges (don't they all). My printere will not recoginize any ink and will not print. There is a lenghty process to trick the printer into printing, but who has the time?

i was a little worried when i ordered off brand cartridges. when compared to an hp printer they have duller color in normal print mode, but outshine hp in photo mode (go figure). i dont understand why!?! i used the same kind of inkjet paper and photo paper for the tests. the hp had first run hp cartridges, the brother had these off brand cartridges. in photo printing, the brother had brighter reds, blue'er blues, and crisper blacks!!

I've used these "will fit" cartridges from several suppliers and for several brother printers over the years and I have yet to get a bad one. In my opinion the color is better than the OEM cartridge, which cost more than this whole 10 cartridge pack. I think these print even better color photos than the OEM cartridges do as well seems more vivid and true to color.

My order was supplied by "BuyITeasy" and I got an even better deal than the stated 14mL size. I actually received XXL 20mL Color super hi yield cartridges and 30mL Black cartridges. Almost twice the advertised amount. Of course, I can only say this is what I received, you may receive as advertised. I also noted that I could buy two of these 10 packs for less than one of the 16 packs that I bought on my last order (which were the 14ml size).

I buy the Brother MFC wireless printers when they are on sale at my local office supply store in the $50-$70 range as a spare. I usually get about 2 years+ out of one before I receive some sort of error message that requires repair. The repair cost the same as replacement when you consider repair charge + shipping + hassle, which I believe is the point, so that you don't bother with the repair and just purchase a new one. Every new printer has a different cartridge fit (on purpose I am sure), so I don't want to have any more $$$ tied up in on hand cartridges than necessary when the old printer does die.

I remain more than satisfied with my Brother "will fit" cartridge experience and recommend them highly for your Brother printer.

I ordered these for my work printer from OCinkjet via Amazon on 11-12-09, it arrived 11-16-09, from California. I found this four pack to be the same price as an OEM two pack if I went to a brick and mortar store. I put one cartridge in right away after they arrived, the printer saw it as a new full cartridge, and now I can print black again. These were shipped individually sealed in a bubble mailer. The protective plastic covering the ink head and contacts was a little hard to get off, but looked to be more protection than how OEM cartridges are packaged. When I run out of color cartridges I'm planning on switching to OCinkjet for them as well.

EDIT: **Update** I just used up the last of the 4 pack of these earlier this month. I think using 4 cartridges over a year of moderate printing is a pretty good deal, and will be picking up another set. (printer is a HP Deskjet 3915)

I'm torn on this item. On one hand, print cartridges are so expensive that an option such as this is appealing. However, there appears to be a wide range of print life in remanufactured ink cartridges, even from the same manufacturer. In my case, I only got about a dozen pages of maybe 20% color (80% black) before my printer simply refused to print color any more. Instead of the usual weakening of color output until the cartridge died, I simply got a cartridge error and had to replace it. For the small amount of color printing I do, I may get another, but ultimately I think you'll get the same printing per cost out of a new cartridge when you factor in how many more pages you're going to get.

I tried one color cartridge for my HP printer as I did not know the quality of this brand. Originally, the printer accepted it but after only a few days, it said there was no color cartridge present. I removed and re-installed it and the printer recognized it again and all was well. Again, the next day, the printer said it was not present. When I removed and re-installed it (several times) it did again recognize it. Soon, it no longer recognized the cartridge at all AND did not want to print in black without a color cartridge present.

I complained to Sophia Global and they wanted me to return the cartridge -which they emailed me a printable UPS label for -I supply the box and get it to the UPS office. They did not offer to replace it out of hand.

I re-directed my correspondence through Amazon and THEY refunded my money sight unseen. Sophia Global did acknowledge receipt of the defunct cartridge but did not offer to replace it at that time either.

In fairness, it may have been a one off fluke and the cartridge was somehow damaged. I do not know. What I do know is that I am now using a color cartridge of another brand as I do not have time to experiment with additional cartridges from this company.

could not use them for several months but when i did they became dry too fast compared to locally bought ones. it pays to buy refills in original packages from a genuine high volume dealer even at a slightly greater cost.
