I can't comment on the absolute color quality of this, because I don't use my printer for photos. For general printing of color documents, it's just fine, and the syringe is great with the giant long needle. The only minor flaw, is that the tube of the syringe is big enough that one drop will fall off of the needle if you're not careful. (My other old syringe, a short one, didn't do that). Overall, it's still worth it. I'm happy.
