The cartridges don't work even when you follow the instructions for pressing the stop/reset button for 10 seconds. Even tried reseting the ink counter/turning off the advanced functioning for the printer. You can't even dismiss the ink is low window. The printer doesn't recognize the color cartridge, and while the black ink cartidge is allowed to print, no ink gets put to the paper. Won't buy again.

In response to print command, the following message appears "the following ink cartridge cannot be recognized. USB 001" In the past I was able to override a similar message but not this one. I have tried repeatedly to override using "stop/reset" and/or reinserting the cartridges. Nothing works. I don't believe I will be able to use after market cartridges with this Canon MP 460 anymore.

I have purchased several of these kits over the years. It is an excellent product and the easiest refill kit I have every used. There is absolutely no mess or waste if you don't overfill the cartridge. The company quickly fills their orders and shipments arrive within a few days, even with regular shipping.

The key to refilling the Lexmark cartridges is not to let them run empty. The cartridges have a fuse that detects the ink level. When the ink gets low (before it runs dry) the fuse trips and then refilling the cartridge no longer works. You then can't remove the ink either since it is soaked into a sponge.

I have a Lexmark printer and the cartridges are around $25 a peace and there are 4 of them. I can refill my black cartridge 4 times with this and it only cost a 3rd of what a new cartridge does. Very good product and have not had any problems with it.

This product works as advertised. The only problem with this product, I think, is that the epson wont always reset ink levels or recognize the cartridges. Some times you have to keep taking it in and out before it sees a new cartridge.

What is bad is the whole process. Epson makes money eaters, not printers. They set up their software with a so called helpful paint level reader. When epson says it time to change the ink though, there's no arguing. You could be half full and it will say empty. It might just stop recognizing the cartridge. After that, the printer will flat out refuse to ever use that cartridge again. If you followed their instructions, you'd throw a $20 cartridge in there every time it asked you. I figured it out, and it would be cheaper to gas your car to run to the copy shop and get everything done in color, then it would be to buy epson cartridges. It's all a scam for poor people who can't afford lazer printers. You get a printer for the family and print out 20 sheets, runs out, then it never gets touched again.

You have no choice but to rely on third party products like these when dealing with a thieving company like epson. Even with these though, it's a pain. I'd suggest checking out the constant feed ones.

I bought this for my Epson Workforce 600. My printer did not recognize the cartridges (Says "Low Ink") and the print quality is bad; the colors are very dull and smudged...granted, I'm printing on 32# glossy paper. Factory ink works fine, but this does not compare. I finally just bought a Dell color laser printer.

Office Depot usually puts out a good product, but if you can find the real, OEM ink for less, by all means buy that instead. You seldom hear complaints about the quality of OEM ink, but there is one nearly-universal complaint: It's expensive. Obviously, people by off-brand ink only to save money.

When you buy a printer, you are buying into that company's ink line. If their ink is expensive, using that printer will turn out to be expensive. Even if the original investment was modest, you'll be hooked into a cycle of expensive ink replacement.

The printer is merely the reusable syringe; the ink is the heroin.

Here are just a few of the bad things a cheap ink cartridge can do: clog, smear, fade, stain, splatter, drip, corrode.

Office Depot ink is pretty good... LD is another Amazon dealer with a good product.

Best Green Park Products Epson 60 Premium Remanufactured Ink Cartridges Deals

I wasn't sure how compatible this ink would be with the Epson, because the Epson likes to give error messages when the ink isn't "Genuine Espon." However, I read the instructions when this arrived, shook the new ink a few times before placing in the printer, and it works great! No issues. It installed wonderfully. I will buy from this company again as it is a GREAT price and works.

Nothing negative to say at this point. I have printed out several pages and they are clear and crisp. I even used it to print coupons and they worked when I used them at checkout.

Premium usually means good quality right? I needed to buy ink for awhile and had been holding off because I found the CX7800's all-in-one color pack at Staples is close to $70. "Expensive," is what I thought until I saw the sticker price of this one on Amazon plus free two-day shipping I was convinced to purchase right away and had no more excuses! Placed the order on 2-19-2012 and received it in 2 shipping days, thanks to Amazon Prime free 2-day shipping!

The replacements are packaged in a box with a nice "green" feel to it. Upon opening up the carton, I found all four colors wrapped up individually silver plastic baggies. After cutting open the baggies, I found the re-manufactured cartridges are not "brand new," but are more like "recycled/used" cartridges that may have been re-injected with more ink. You can tell because the grey, little plastic tape that usually covers the ink well unbroken is already quite punctured, and a small black rubber "Remove" tab covers the well to possibly limit ink spillage during shipment.

This worried me a bit, and thoughts swirled, "What if when I put the cartridges in, it doesn't work properly Like the cartridges will still show low in ink error, or it just won't take at all?"

To my relief, my CX7800 Epson printer took to the cartridges and registered the correct ink levels with no issue. After one clean ink nozzle test and a print head alignment test I printed two pages (back to back) successfully that displayed average print quality. I'll continue to use the cartridges till any issues arise or until they run out, and will update this review in a few months or so to follow up about the "premium" quality.

I was amazed at the value of the 10 pack set, which I got for the price of a 2-pack set that I would have normally paid for at Office Max or Office Depot, which was absolutely wonderful. The item arrived promptly and as described. The black ink cartridges were a different style/brand than the color. All of the inks have been replaced. I've had some issues with print quality. For about 1 1/2 pages the black printed in streaks. Also, after I changed the Cyan my color was off. I popped the cartridge out and reinserted and it was much better after the printer went through a cleaning cycle. If these are the issues that I continue to have, I would purchase the item again since the price was so good. The printer is used for home printing.

Do not purchase these for your Brother MFC-440CN. The color cartridges appear to fit but do not seem to work, and the black cartridge is the wrong size and gets stuck in its receptacle. The cartridge labels clearly say they are for the MFC-440CN, but they're not compatible.

I bought this ink with a set of refillable cartridges and I am so impressed with the outcome. I have refilled a couple times. It is easy once you figure out that the bottles have a pointy spout and I can just pull the plug on the cartridge and squirt it in. I use this on my HP laser printer. Not at all as described or as pictured. It is a solid white bottle with NO tip whatsoever. It is just a wide opening. I did not receive any syringes with the shipment. I had to contact SOL, then they emailed me saying they were sorry and did I want them to ship syringes?! I emailed back stating since there is no other way to fill the cartridges then I would need syringes! With syringes, this ink will fill any refillable cartridges that require these colors.

Will I buy from SOL again? Nope... I knew that SOL stood for something other than company name.

When you need this exact kind of ink this is clearly the best replacement cartridge to get. Not much more than you can say than that I suppose. But I must say I had an interesting problem ordering it. I am encouraged by the Printer software to order it directly from Canon. Good luck! The software connects to the Canon site and automatically orders all the other colors except this one. Look for it by name on their web site and they do not have it. So I went to Amazon and there it was. Expensive yes. But they sent it toute suite and I had it before the picture finished printing. Well, that is no exaggeration. The picture would not print until the cartridge was in place. Clearly the new way to buy printers is for you get them next to free or even free! and then make up the cost by buying ink.

So there's something I can say about the Lucia system. There are definitely cheaper options available to put in your Pro-1 printer.

Third party ink is always less expensive. The problem is, if you've paid the exorbitant price of the Pro-1 printer, surely you knew what you were getting into. $35 per cartridge is outrageous compared to normal printers. This isn't a normal printer though. It's Canon's top of the line consumer oriented "prosumer" photo printer.

With Canon ink, you are getting the guaranteed performance you expect and desire. With third party ink, who knows what quality control looks like? What's the longevity of the ink? Supposedly these prints, with Canon ink, will last 100+ years. No such "guarantee" from third party. Of course, the other argument is, if the third party inks last even 1/2 as long, I'm likely as not to be dead before it matters, or if not, blind and senile. So maybe there is a market for not caring?

For me, I want the best possible print, on the best possible printer with nearly guaranteed results and longevity. I know I can get this from Canon inks and printers, even if I can't fully test the 100+ year claims.

I have never had a problem with these inks. they ship them promptly and are very reasonable. My printer recognizes that a refilled cartridge is used, so i don't get an ink level, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize when you need to change the cartridge.
