I don't print many photos on my 2200, so can't comment on photographic color rendition. This printer always had disappointing color accuracy when printing photos with Epson ink, and I'm sure it won't be better with aftermarket ink.

This looked like a great product at a great price. The ink cartridges were installed in the printer and the cartridges emptied out into the printer. What a mess. I returned them!!!
