This is a GREAT deal! I was hesitant to purchase this since the review ratings weren't very high. After I received this today and already installed and tested them, I think I know why. On each cartridge there is a tab at the top that instructs users to remove it. You would think this is the only step necessary before installing the cartridge, but what they have failed to do is include a tab on the bottom of the cartridge as well (the part where the ink actually comes out of). There is a small plastic tab, but there are no instructions to remove this tab. I think folks have installed these cartridges with that tab still on and think that this is a faulty product since nothing prints....and of course it's not printing since the ink can not come out with that tab still on! Other than the absence of instructions on how to properly install these, the product itself is great! I will definitely be stocking up on several more sets at this price!

I don't think there is any offense greater than passing off a refurbished (and poorly at that) product as "new". What I received were old Epson cartridges, drilled, refilled, and a "new" label taped over the Epson label. They did not even work in my printer since the chip was different.

I bought these for a Epson Photo R280. I replaced all of the cartridges when they arrived and everything printed fine on the first day. After that it all went down hill. Each day the print was more faint and a week later you couldnt even read what was printed. I have read somewhere that it has to do with the computer chip on them but not sure why they worked at first and my settings are saying that the ink is full but now nothing will print.

The product description says "are ideal for your machine as the original ink cartridges."

When I ordered these I had run out of one color ink, yellow. When I got the cartridges I pulled the tape off the filler hole and it immediately spurted yellow ink all over my hand and the table. I admit I missed the caution in the instructions, because if these were "ideal" then instructions should not have been necessary.

I cleaned it up and installed it and the printer (Epson Stylus PHOTO R280) would not recognize it. THEN it was apparently time to read the instructions which said that ALL SIX cartridges must be replaced with the new ones. Only yellow was empty, and I would have been throwing out about $50 worth of ink. So I sent them back, and I did get a refund, but there was considerable inconvenience and I was out a couple bucks for the return postage.

If I could give this product zero stars I would-a star SHOULD mean some sort of favorable rating, and this isn't kindergarten-every participant should not automatically get a star!

So i got the cartridges and was assured by the company on the page that the ink I had purchased would be compatible, it was right there in the title of the item. However, it did not work. Epson, being sneaky, updates the chips in their ink cartridges. These guys, being slow, dont have the capability to find what works. I appreciate the rip off and the non-working ink cartridges.
