It would seem that the problem cartridges are sold by "generic"

I have purchased several sets from LD, yes they cost twice as much as "generics" but half or less than HPs, they last twice as long and I have NEVER had a quality issue.

I am waiting to see how the ink will hold up in terms of volume of print jobs, but there is no difference so far between this and the very expensive HP cartridges.

Unlike other non-OEM ink products, these actually succeed in fooling my HP Officejet 6500 printers (I have two, set up in different locations) into believing they are original HP cartridges! When installed, the printer "recognizes" them as bona fide ink.

I find that these cartridges are better than the original HP ones in the sense that (1) they have a slightly larger ink capacity, and (2) the ink container part is transparent, so you can actually see how much ink there is.

I have refrained from reviewing this product for about 3 months since buying it, to see how the print quality is with this ink. I find it indistinguishable from the original HP cartridges.

This ink is excellent and it worked perfect in my HP printer. The color is excellent and they last a long time definately better than having to refill your ink and better than buying the hp ink. I will continue buying ink from this buyer.

I'm not sure just how much you can say about ink cartridges. These seem to work fine. I took away one star, because the plastic body doesn't seem to be the same quality as the original HP units. On the other hand, it's translucent, so you can visually see the ink level. Maybe I should put that star back on there... yeah, back up to 5 stars. For the price, I don't think you could ask for more. If something goes horribly wrong with them, I will amend this to reflect that, but no news is good news. For now, I'm quite pleased.

There are always issues when using non HP products that the manufacturers make light of but take time and effort and cause me to say next time, buy HP and forget the hassle.

Loaded the color cartridges and got several different error messages that had to be dealt with. Luckily, I was able to avoid the clean printhead issue. But, fifteen minutes and then finally got to print.

I was VERY pleased when these arrived today. They arrived before the EXPECTED shipping date which is awesome. I never used off brand ink cartridges before, but I thought for the PRICE, why not? When I opened the package, each cartridge was INDIVIDUALLY wrapped and NO LEAKING whatsoever. My printer wasn't fooled by these cartridges (I have an HP officejet 6500e), but they still SHOW the INK LEVELS and they print like any nomal HP cartridge. I wasn't worried about my warranty because I'm sure it is already out of date since I've had the printer for a few years now. As a BONUS, the cartridges are CLEAR, so you can visually SEE how much INK you have left. I WILL BE buying more from this SELLER and would recommend these to anybody who is on a budget!

Of course, whatever brand of printer you buy, they sternly tell you to only buy the manufacturers brand of cartridges. Which means, it gets expensive. My Brother all-in-one accepted this, and works fine. The Dell I used to have, was another story. If I didn't buy Dell cartridges, a yellow caution icon annoyingly flashed, and it constantly asked to print a sample page (to use up ink). It was a relief to me that this Brother didn't do that. I don't print that many pics, but they came out clear. Most of the time, it's just documents or receipts, and I see no difference between the Brother cartridges, and these.

I was wary due to some of the bad reviews this item got. Ordered it anyway. The new cartridges installed easily enough. I followed the instructions on the paper that was included in the package and didn't have any issues. Printed a test page and everything is working fine (for now). If issues come up down the road, I will update the review.

I have only used the black cartridge so far. No problems with it. I thought it would last longer. I didn't get nearly 300 copies, which is what I thought I would get. To be fair, I was printing alot of pictures/activities (I am a teacher). I have not tried the other cartridges yet you not sure how long they will last. I think I would buy again.

I've had this printer for 15 years, used almost every day, & always using HP cartridges. This is the first NON-HP I've tried, but it's half the cost of HP or less, & the output actually looks BETTER than the HP. Under 40X magnification the HP's leave a "halo" of scattered toner around the characters. This one shows ZERO scatter. It's beautiful, & I very rarely give that level of praise. Delivery was very speedy too. (And the internal package padding is so cool I'll bet you save it for some other use.)

The ink was exactly what I needed for our (admittedly old) printer, and it was much cheaper than some of the options out there. I'm very grateful, especially since I work for a non-profit (church) and we're always on a tight budget.

This was the first time that I bought a "refurbished" cartridge. It arrived broken. It did not work at all. Once in the machine, I was lucky to get it back out. I bought this item because it had 2 PGI-220 Black and 1 of each of the other colors. I thought this was a good combo as I go through the PGI-220 black a lot faster than the other colors. When the package came it had 6 cartridges but only 1 PGI-220 Black and 5 CLI -221 Black/colors including gray that my printer doesn't use and was not in the description. I decided not to return the product as I needed the ink right away.

Worked on my Epson wide carriage like a champ! Not trivial to install but has worked pretty much perfectly for 6 months. It drys out if you don't use it for a week but those long cleaning cycles are no big deal anymore. The ink is very waterfast compared to normal ink which is what I was after. Couldn't be happier!

This happened with my black and yellow... I don't know what happened. I purchased this last year and it worked fine. When I replaced my black, my printer didn't recognize and I had to perform a check several times using a lot of the ink. After several pages printing and my ink half way gone, one page finally came out with black. Then I replaced yellow and it does not recognize at all and I can't even perform any tests. So frustrating!!!

Removed "all" of the old cartridges and replace them with these. They worked just fine without any error messages on an Epson R260 printer.

Pros:

The print quality is excellent

The price can't be beat.

Cons:

The software that monitors the ink levels shows that there is not very much ink remaining in the cartridges even though they are new.

I would buy this again, amazing color and clarity. I have an Epson RX580 printer. I installed the ink cartridges, and the printer accepted them and showed they were all full. But nothing would print. Called customer service, and it turns out that there was a small, tiny piece of clear plastic in the dark blue cartridge, in the hole on the bottom. I had to poke all the ink cartridges with a paper clip to find this(what customer service told me to do.). Fixed the problem. After the plastic was removed, and the nozzle heads cleaned, it printed just fine in all colors! Would give it five stars, if it were not for this initial problem.

Looking for ink at a low price, and this was the best price I could find. The ink worked just as well as the more expensive one from HP. My only problem is that the light on my printer is still telling me that it needs ink. Other than that it worked just fine. I also bought the black ink refill but the light went out when I replaced the HP cartridge.

When I bought this it worked fine we have a HP All in 1 printer and at first it printed just fine and its not like we print a lot we use it maybe 4 times a month so when I bought this I thought it would last us at least 6 months well I was wrong it only lasted 1 month then the printer kept saying it couldn't read it and then finally when it did read it, it said it was out of color ink so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone it was a waste of money

I tried using these cartridges and they caused a horrible error with my machine that I could not fix using HP's help. At first I was angry and said angry things about them(the ink manufacturer's), however I work in retail with technology and should know that sometimes you get a bad batch or just one bad cartridge in a batch and I should know better than to go with a knee jerk reaction. Within an hour of my terrible rating of the Sophia company I received a phone call from them. The gentleman I talked to was so apologetic and wonderful and understanding I was surprised. He actually was able to walk me through a troubleshooting to fix my printer (which I thought I was going to have to junk)and made me feel like my opinion of them mattered. I will tell you what, after speaking to the gentleman at Sophia I will seriously consider trying their cartridges again, or at least trying one of the ones that I have left over, in the future. I believe their excellent customer service more than made up for my bad experience and changed my mind about their product. I just have to say thank you to them for caring enough to try to fix my machine and being so polite.
