I've had this printer for 15 years, used almost every day, & always using HP cartridges. This is the first NON-HP I've tried, but it's half the cost of HP or less, & the output actually looks BETTER than the HP. Under 40X magnification the HP's leave a "halo" of scattered toner around the characters. This one shows ZERO scatter. It's beautiful, & I very rarely give that level of praise. Delivery was very speedy too. (And the internal package padding is so cool I'll bet you save it for some other use.)

The ink was exactly what I needed for our (admittedly old) printer, and it was much cheaper than some of the options out there. I'm very grateful, especially since I work for a non-profit (church) and we're always on a tight budget.

This was the first time that I bought a "refurbished" cartridge. It arrived broken. It did not work at all. Once in the machine, I was lucky to get it back out. I was so disigusted, I threw it into the trash, not bothering to take time to send it back. I then ordered an authentic HP cartridge (from HP itself), although it was very expensive.

The cartridge arrived quickly, installed easily, and has produced excellent printouts over the past several weeks. The first few days it made a faint whining noise while printing but that seems to have stopped. I'm happy with the product.
